About this cabin rental
On an acre, the 1064 square foot Rogue Bear sits at 7000 feet of elevation in the Tall Pines, between Flagstaff and Williams, the Gateway to the Grand Canyon. Beautifully decorated and furnished, it has a King Bedroom, a Queen Bedroom, and a bunk room 4 and a pack-and-play on request. There is one full bathroom, and modern large capacity stacked laundry. It has a fully equipped kitchen, all linens, all the comforts of home, and then some. Children of all ages will love the horseshoes and cornhole in the back, and everybody will enjoy the firepit. Sit on the porch, and gaze out at the trees and wildlife.
Or, hang out on the patio under twinkling lights in the evening. Dine Alfresco, and reconnect with family and friends.
Near the Grand Canyon, hiking, skiing, the Oak Hill Snowplay Area, fishing, biking, quadding, and a variety of family activities, including the Deer Farm, a great children’s petting zoo, The Rogue Bear is in a perfect location. It is just ten minutes from Route 66 in historic downtown Williams, Arizona, and the Grand Canyon Railway where children, and the young at heart, can take a ride on the Polar Express during the Holidays, or take the historic train to the Grand Canyon

We had a wonderful time. We loved the cozy cabin as it was perfect for our family

Really need to get a hall light for laundry area and an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Also with threat of a $75 fine for unbagged trash, there should be more than 1 additional trash bag for an 8 day stay. Overall a very nice stay.

Nice property with everything you need for a family getaway. Although I believe the listing said “full bath”, if you are traveling with a small child, be aware there is only a very small shower. Other than that, we all enjoyed our time here and would stay again!

The cabin was beautiful and definitely met expectation upon arrival. As we made our way inside everything appeared to be perfect. As we started to look closer we noticed that there were mice droppings and urine on the countertops, beds, nightstands, and furniture. We spent most the evening our first day cleaning and disinfecting the space. No big deal at first just thought it had been missed.
The next morning when we woke up we noticed more droppings and urine on the nightstands next to where we were sleeping as well as on the beds, and furniture so we spent most the morning cleaning up after them again. At that point we headed out to spend the day at the Grand Canyon in a rush because we spent most the morning cleaning up. When we arrived back at the cabin that evening my son saw a mouse running across the living room into the kitchen. It was at this point I called to see if it could be handled. I am glad that they sent someone over to deal with the issue. How the issue was dealt with was by placing poison throughout the house.
That evening we spent most the evening outside just because it started to feel more dirty inside then out. Also when it got cold out and we were forced inside we had to constantly watch our dog to keep her from getting into the poison that was placed for the mice. We really never got to enjoy the cabin in its full.

Great cabin. Feels like you're at home. Everything you need for a comfortable stay in the woods with family and the grandkids. Quiet and cozy. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall it was very beautiful & we enjoyed the scenery. The place was nice, quiet & relaxing.
We do wish there would have been some more cooking supplies like spatulas, cookie sheets & frying pans, we like to cook so it was a little difficult because there wasn't multiples of things.
The only cleanliness problems was cobwebs in the kitchen & living areas, & as to be expected since you're in the wilderness we dif have multiple spiders in the house.
Communication with the property manager was great on the first day but after that, not so great. The instruction book when you get there says there is a little shed outside with games to play but it was locked & the code was not in the book so I emailed property manager & never got a response, we were a little disappointed about that.

We loved our family time in this cute cabin. There was plenty of room, clean, we had everything we needed and the smell of pine outside is amazing! It was lovely to get away to cooler area from hot valley. Thank you for opening up your home to us!

The property and the place are amazing, completely immersed in the woods many chances to see wild life in action, perfect for relaxing. The Owner is very accommodating and responsive, in fact the cabin offers many amenities. There is one thing that I do not like and consists in the fact that the water is not actually connected to the property and this is not stated in the webpage description either on Expedia or VRBO, so when people book the property they do not know that the water will be delivered by a truck, so then when you get in the cabin can possibly incur in surprises if the water was not delivered, I bet the non delivery is not common but it may happen so I think it should be stated somewhere and customers should be aware before getting to the cabin.

Overall, the cabin exceeded our expectations! I love the scenery and the layout/decor of the cabin! I could tell the owners took time and effort to make it home away from home. I’m definitely going to come back in the future! It was my family and I first experience in a cabin and is now a new family tradition due to the awesome family experiences that were made. Well worth it! You won’t regret it!

Cozy, clean cabin. We loved our stay here!

The Rogue Bear Cabin was the perfect place for our much needed get away. This cabin felt cozy, but was big enough for the 6 of us (2 Adults, 2 teenagers and 2 tweens). It was close to all of the adventures we were planning on doing (Bearizona, Train ride to the Grand Canyon and Meteor Crater). The cabin had everything that we needed for cooking, meals, and games for down time at the cabin. This was a wonderful find and we will be returning soon!
