The breakfast choices and quality of foodstuffs was exceptionally good. In addition the evening meal we had pre-booked was worthy of the finest restaurant. Caroline is an exceptionally fine cook.

Lovely breakfast. The food is organic and it's good to see local produce being championed.
It was nice to have tea in the garden.
It was great to have access to a local pub and Indian restaurant. You just need to be aware of opening times.
No particular issues.

Breakfast was excellent mostly home-produced, and my wife's gluten intolerance well catered-for. The owners were friendly and helpful.
Not having a door key felt a little strange but the owners were always around and we did feel our belongings were secure.

The house itself was full of history, mainly military and I was fascinated by it. Wish I could have spent more time with Geoffrey. House was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was exceptional with home baked bread and other home produce, cooked to perfection by Caroline our Hostess.
There was nothing I did not like. For our 2 day stay we only slept and had breakfast. The rest of the day we were out.

We would describe the breakfast as 'all day' in that it kept us going all day! - everything was very tasty and well presented.
Beds were very comfortable. A good location for exploring Suffolk.
It is a very old house with lots of character so some things, for example an uneven floor in our bedroom, are to be expected. Not ideal and not a criticism but you needed to be careful moving around the room especially if elderly.

Warm hosts with a house oozing character out of every corner. Topped off with an outstanding breakfast making best use of home produce. We would happily go back any day!

An exceptionally well appointed, spacious, traditional family home, in the style of the village Manor.
Nothing was too much trouble, I slept well and very much enjoyed the full tasty English breakfast, using all local ingredients and home cooked bread.
Due to covid 19 restrictions I undoubtedly missed out on what would have been an epic and delicious evening meal, plus the joy of exploring the impressive wine cellar!
