It was fine as we were only there at night but wouldn’t stay again.

It was located well to amenities. It was spacious.

It was barely clean. The heating was not set correctly. The shower in the bathroom did not work. The bedroom down stairs was cold and smelly. There was mould in the bathroom too and the carpet was dirty. The fridge was turned up too high and froze our food.

BEDBUGS in two of the three rooms

It has a good size to fit 6 people with no problem, and the connection with the city center was good.

2 of the 3 bedrooms (the ones upstairs) have BEDBUGS on it.. 2 of our friends got completely bitten by them and afterwards we had to wash and dry clean in high temperature all of our clothes, damaging some of it. BE AWARE of this! I have more pics of the bedbugs to upload but there was a maximum of 4 photos to upload. We are still worried that we didn’t bring bedbugs to our home.

We would definitely book this place again. It’s just what we wanted.

It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We were made to feel welcome right from the outset. The property was only 20 mins from the city centre on the tram.

Convenient and comfortable for an Edinburgh city break

Location great - close to tram and bus stops, pleasant area with good bars and restaurants on the doorstep. No issues with noise. Apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Good showers with plentiful hot water. Comfy beds. Spacious and great for our needs.

Only found out the week before that free parking was not available as advertised. Ended up booking a ‘just park’ space which cost us £60 for the 3 days we were there. No ‘welcome pack’, as was advertised and when queried was told that no welcome pack had been supplied since covid (there was some tea and coffee provided)….. not sure what that’s got to do with it 3 years on, and didn’t really ‘need’ it but why advertise something that you’ve no intention of providing?

Quiet location, close to tram station, spatious, good equipment.

Could be a bit cleaner - dust in the closets, last room needs a courtains (public lights in the evening and sunlight in the morning could be troublesome for some)

Lovely Leith apartment

The apartment was as described and very comfortable. Our family of 5 adults stayed for a week and all enjoyed the stay. The local tram line opened during our stay and this made travel to the city, fish markets and airport very easy. This made the location even better. The heating was greatly appreciated and very efficient. Very close to supermarkets, cafes and bars on a lovely harbour.

The third bedroom requires a block out blind for summer stays. More details in the compendium on how different appliances work would be very useful.

Good value spot for Leith

The place was bigger than I expected, with 3 double bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom, with bathroom, is very handy for elderly or infirm guests The house is very well equipped and well located for Leith dock side and right on the new tram line for the Town centre and/ or airport.

Although the area is relatively quiet, the streets are cobbled and road (and tram) noise can be intrusive at times.

Great stay in lovely house in an ideal location

Location great easy access to bars,takeaways etc Bus stop for city centre just around corner Walking distance for Royal yacht Britannia and from here access to tourist bus. Leith waterfront lovely and just a stones throw away. Beds very comfy and location quiet so great for a good nights sleep. Paul met us there with keys even though we arrived later than scheduled due to the train being cancelled / delayed he was there waiting he walked us through property and explained wifi etc. Great to have large dining table so we could all sit down together. Fabulous place to stay with friends.

Just to be picky it would of been nice to have some milk in fridge as stated in description as we arrived later than planned due to train cancellations and were ready for a cuppa but the shop was only a 10 minute walk away so no real problem.

Lovely apartment with plenty of space well kept and lovely local pubs and resturants close at hand

Location, Location, Location. Quiet with plenty of eateries on your doorstep. Good size and definity family freindly, very clean and great transport access to town especially once the finish the tram line.

Parking a little restricted but planty of spaces less than 1/2mins walk from door. This should ease once road works have been finished. Not owners fault council digging up road and was not problem on visit.

Great property in a lovely location.

Great communication from owners nothing to much trouble. Property is gorgeous perfect for a us as a group of 3 couples, everything you need at property lovely location. This was our second visit and will definitely be staying again.

Maybe could do with a shelf in main bathroom to put toiletries on.One of the bedrooms door handles needs repairing. But did not spoil our stay.

Perfect place for our weekend trip

Great apartment in perfect location. Close to bars and restaurants and close to bus links in to Edinburgh. Very comfortable beds and brilliant Facilities down to the little things like towels and hairdryers 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms meant it was perfect for our group of three couples and made it a very comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend

Good value for money in heart of Leith

The hosts were very responsive and accommodating, meeting us at the property at a time that suited us. Fraser was very helpful, finding parking spaces for us and helping with the bags. The accommodation itself was very comfortable, with plenty of space. I would say it caters for 6 people rather than 8 in terms of facilities. The location itself was good if you know Edinburgh, and especially for it's vicinity to the Shore in Leith. It's really good value for money and easy to get into the city centre.

The property just needs a little attention, change some light bulbs, and fix the sofa bed - it's not usable - and we will definitely be back. The other thing is that only one person could have a shower at a time. So the three bathrooms weren't much of a benefit.
