This place is beautiful and has a lot of history. They even gave us a free tour of the house after breakfast.

From pulling up on the street, till the time you leave this place, it oozes class. A quaint, quiet, beautiful setting. Big spacious rooms with beautiful old furniture. We were welcomed warmly by Nell and Mary with a glass of sangria. Breakfast is served in the dining room at 8.30am and it was gorgeous, with piano music! We were given a tour of the house after breakfast which was really interesting. We used the pool while there which was nice as it was hot and humid. Its a little bit out of town though so you really need the car. Although I would consider the distance to town walkable (in european standards) and safe, the heat/humidity would make it uncomfortable.

My daughter loves this B&B! She has befriended “the ladies” that run the inn. This was our third stay.

Excellent one night stay! We were in town for a wedding, and am glad we picked The Burn. Everyone was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. Piano and a visit from the house pup were a nice touch!

We enjoyed our stay and it was overall good. That said, the blinds didn’t close, the security bolt was missing a screw and was hanging down, two glasses on the nightstand looked like they hadn’t been washed in forever and the loveseat needed to be reupholstered. Breakfast was beautifully served and was good, especially the grits and fresh baked biscuits. Nell is delightful and she took us on a tour of the main house which is fabulous . The owner is cordial, came to the dining room both mornings to welcome everyone and had his wonderful Golden Doodle Babe who went around and greeted everyone as well. Overall yes I would stay there again. The grounds and pool are really lovely.

A wonderful stay with a nice pool and an awesome breakfast.
Only remark is that we didn't have any noise on the telly.

Stay to visit Natchez and see history, there are stairs to our room that are a little narrow. The room was very nice, with comfy bed and nice bathroom. They did refresh towels, etc on 2nd day. There is not a fridge or refreshments in the room, thought that was a bit strange. Good breakfast served at specific time. Had to ask for ice, it was very hot in MS.

The staff was fantastic. Not comfortable with courtesy of owner. He appeared completely focused on his personal friends and not very interested in other guests. Not the experience we anticipated.

The Burn is a beautiful home. We stayed in the Clara room in the guest house. The room was very clean and spacious! The king four poster bed was comfortable, other antique furniture and a fireplace made us feel as if we stepped back in time. Walkable to Mainstreet and the river. Restaurants and stores a few blocks away. Love this place! Nell our host and Franco made us feel at home…. The pool was a big refreshing plus! I will be back!!

We loved our stay! The staff is very pleasant and goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. We toured several antebellum homes and thought the Burn was one of the most beautiful.

The home was lovely, but the best part about The Burn Bed and Breakfast was Nell and her team of ladies that housed and feed us incredible breakfasts. Honestly, the setting is so nice and the ladies work non-stop to keep it that way. My husband and I really enjoyed meeting them. The breakfasts were all home made and served to us like were royal. It was a real treat! I hope Nell is being paid well because she is running that B&B. She is a sweetheart!

We enjoyed our one night stay. It was close to everything, easy to find with free parking. Check in out was easy. Our room was very nice and fitting for the area. It was on the second floor with a sitting area over looking one of the garden areas. It is outside the main house and up a set of stairs. The breakfast was scheduled for 8:30 with the other guests in the main house dining room. It was delicious and served to us on china. They offered free main house tour as well. Overall wonderful experience.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The ladies who cooked and served breakfast were pleasant to talk to and made the best breakfast I've ever had on vacation! Mrs. Nell answered any questions I had. The owner was there for the weekend and asked us everyday how everything was. The grounds are beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting outside. I would highly recommend The Burn to anyone!

We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon. Their hospitality and wonderful setting made our trip very special. The gardens are immaculate and nicely sculpted. The owner's dog Babe made the trip perfect. The ladies that run the property are sweet and welcoming and serve a delicious and savory breakfast every morning. The place feels like it is right out of a Southern Living magazine.

We enjoyed our stay at The Burn. The host and staff were very friendly and the other guests were delightful. The pool is so pretty and the room/bed was very comfortable. The area was safe for solo female travelers and the Lucy room on the first floor is great for those with walking issues.

Unlike many of the other B&Bs in Natchez, the owner and staff are all „Natchez folk“ - born and bred - and their deep love for The Burn is obvious. The kind, gracious hospitality extended to all guests is unparalleled.
