LIVING SPACE:
On the main level, you’ll be instantly drawn to the living room with high ceilings and huge windows that perfectly capture the view of the Spokane River and the majestic pines across the riverbank. You’ll find plenty of comfortable seating beside the large stone fireplace. Or take the conversation outside to the main level deck where more seating awaits, along with a hammock where you can watch for soaring eagles in total relaxation.

This large upper deck wraps halfway around the main level with glass safety railings that give peace of mind without obstructing the view. With a BBQ grill and outdoor seating for 6, dining alfresco has never been easier. Inside, the dining area boasts a large wooden table with comfortable seating for 8 while the adjacent kitchen island adds seating for 4.

The bright kitchen lives up to its nickname as the “hub of the house.” Your guests will feel right at home gathering around the granite kitchen island while you show off your culinary skills on the ample counter space. The large river-facing windows allow you to work with a view in this well-stocked kitchen full of stainless-steel appliances, cookware, dishes, glasses, and utensils needed to enjoy any meal you wish to prepare during your stay.

Conveniently located on the main level, you’ll find the first Master Bedroom Ensuite, with a king bed and private access to the deck through sliding glass doors. The stone gas fireplace, mounted flat screen TV, steam shower, large soaking tub, and heated floors add luxurious touches to this private space. There is an additional half bath on the main floor for guest use as well.

Make your way upstairs to the loft, a space set to keep you active while you travel with a treadmill, stationary bike, and plenty of room for yoga with a view! You’ll also find two bedrooms on this level, the first with a queen bed and the second with sleeping for 5, a perfect place for the kiddos to bunk together. The 3/4 bathroom rounds out this stylish and functional upper level.

On the spacious lower level, your guests will spend hours in the entertainment room enjoying the pool table, foosball coffee table, and three full-sized arcade games. Stay hydrated by using the wet bar and then snuggle into an epic movie night on the reclining L-shaped sofa. Another stone fireplace keeps you cozy, as do the heated floors found throughout this lower level.

The second Master Ensuite can be found on the lower level. This comfortable space has a desk area for when you need to get a little quiet work done, as well as private access to the ground-level patio. The ensuite bathroom has a dual vanity and shower/tub combo shared with the other bedroom, a fun space with two sets of twin bunk beds, and a queen sleeper sofa.

Bedroom 1: Queen bed (upper level)
Bedroom 2: Bunk bed (Full bed on the bottom and Twin on top), 1 single twin with a twin trundle (upper level)

Travel down the slightly sloped mature lawn where there is additional lakefront covered seating and basketball court! A full-sized washer and dryer are waiting back inside to cleanse away the grass.

A basketball court fills the space right beside the river and doubles as a great open area for family games. Just beyond, you’ll find a dock that accommodates your boat and jet skis, and when the water is low, a beachy strip allows you to play in the water with the sand between your toes.

No matter the weather, your guests can relax on cushioned seating under the covered stone patio and watch the waves. A hot tub adds that “cherry on the top” to this gorgeous family home experience, allowing you that extra level of relaxation with a view.

Our large family of 15 stayed at this wonderful home over Christmas. The home and property are beautiful and there was plenty of room for us to enjoy our Christmas morning in the large main living area. The children enjoyed the games, toys and TV room downstairs which was perfect to give everyone lots of room to enjoy their own space. The property managers were amazing and were very fast to respond to a question we had even though it was Christmas Eve. We really enjoyed our stay!

This home was great for our extended family to spend the long weekend together. We had plenty of room to spread out and also hang out all together. Lots of baking happened in the kitchen and we enjoyed the living room for card and board games as well as chats. The younger crowd spent time on the games and pool tables downstairs and we had a couple of movie nights there as well. The variety of bedrooms were nice and there were ample bathrooms for all. The steam shower in the main bath was a delight! We were not able to figure out the fireplace, we would have liked to enjoy that feature. And, the hot tub had a Ring device which, while it may be a good safety/security feature, felt a little creepy to those who used the hot tub ( not sure who was watching on the other end). Overall, we really enjoyed this home and would recommend it. We saw moose near the house every day we were there and we will always remember our Thanksgiving spent at "Moose Mansion!"

This was a great house. The views of the water are beautiful. My daughter asked if I wanted to go to a park and I asked “Why? This is a park”. There were a couple of quirks that we didn’t like at first, such as having no closets to hang clothes and no place to put food after we got back from the grocery store. (Many closets, including the one in the master bedroom and the pantry in the kitchen were locked by the owners). I got over this, though, because the rest of the experience was really good. But then there was a sewage leak by the front door and the management company decided that we couldn’t stay in the house. We had to move in the middle of our vacation. We ended up in a pretty nice house in Coeur D’Alene and it was okay but definitely a downgrade. One thing I didn’t realize with VRBO is that this risk of the property being unusable is largely on you. We were offered a refund for unused nights, but no type of compensation for the hassle of moving in middle of the vacation and since we took the alternative housing, we didn’t get this refund. The alternative house would have been a lot cheaper if I had rented it in the first place. It was smaller, it wasn’t on the river, it was not the thing we were looking forward to. It was still a cool house though, so we made the best of it and had a good finish for our vacation. The second house also had a master bedroom with no place to hang clothes, so I think this might be a thing in Idaho.

This is a beautiful home located right in the river, perfect for our group that enjoys boating and fishing and general outdoor fun! With that being said there are some major safety issues that arose, first and the most important is the lighting on the bottom level of the home which has a hot tub (slippery when wet) had no working lights, complete darkness. As a result of this the second night we were there we had three falls, one by my father who was unharmed, my sister who is 3 weeks postpartum who was unharmed and a family friend who fell severely and who required medical attention and an ambulance was called. When we called the management company they had a “ maintenance guy” come out during the day to come and fix the problem. He had no idea what a gfi was or how to reset them, he stated the lights must be on a solar type system and they should turn on that night, if not to call their after hours number and they would come fix them. Night came and no lights, so my husband called them and they said they would not be coming out to fix the issue. The guy was totally rude and had no regard for the safety issue that having no outdoor lights on a slippery (tile) surface and this house has major inclines, it’s steep getting from the shore to the home. Second issue is there was exposed wiring on the bottom floor deck area, we had several small children running around and one grab could’ve been an electrical shock. Again no one fixed the issue.

This is a beautiful home that has a great amount of space. It’s beautiful and spacious inside. We really enjoyed the boat lift because we brought our brand d new 25’ Malibu. If we didn’t have that it would’ve been rocked by quite a bit of water traffic during our stay. All said this property is great and we’ll be back!

This house was not only big enough for our family of 14 but it had everything we needed to have an amazing stay. The view of the river is absolutely spectacular. You will never get tired of looking at it. We enjoyed all the sitting locations, the basketball court, hot tub every night and the kids game room downstairs was a hit every evening after a fun day of fishing, canoeing and swimming. Your close to stores for shopping but you don’t feel like you are. We definitely will be returning to this house. Loved it!!
