We loved how the employees were very personable. We met Kelly and she was very friendly and helpful. The next morning we met Kelsey, the General manager of the place and she was very friendly and we admired her work ethic( especially working on her day off)!! The Cabin that we stayed in had a jacuzzi and was very private and the surroundings were lovely and peaceful! 💕💕🌲🌅👍🤗. We had a wonderful relaxing stay and definitely will be coming back to stay again soon!! Thank you for your hospitality 💝
My husband and I were wondering why we couldn’t control the heat in any of the rooms. Also, only the living room TV was hooked up to WiFi, but it was difficult to get it going and used our phones to help with the process. The bedroom TV did not have the same tv set up as the living room per WiFi? Confused? Also, it would really be nice to have extra towels for the Jacuzzi usage. Just a suggestion; it would be nice to have a keurig k-cup machine for our homage cappuccinos.

Breakfast was awesome and fresh. Staff was very friendly.
Having no windows made it feel stuffy and dark. Bathroom shower dispenser was empty. The bathroom paneling was warped from the dampness.

nothing as they messed up my booking and did not have a room for me
when I first booked it, it rated 9/10 on booking.com but now it’s 7/10. after a change of ownership recently, things have gone down the drain. my booking was done and they saw my booking on booking.com but they can’t see it on their system! I msged them at 1pm informing I will be checking in at about 6pm and they received it. when I got there at 7pm , I was told my booking wasn’t captured on their system but they can see it on their bookjng.com system. I was left with no room and had to go looking for another place to stay for the night! horrible experience!

Cute and very quaint. Would have liked to stay in a cabin. Location is good close to the outdoor ice and roller skating rink and short walk into Winthrop. Lots of deer to see.
The place is not staffed. Covid is over move on. Guests want more than just a phone number that no one answers when it rings.

Breakfast was the best part with lots of great homemade food. The decor was very cozy and the rooms comfortable. A quick 10 minute walk to the center of Winthrop.

The location was excellent, Winthrop is a cute little town just outside of North Cascades, which makes it a great stopping point when visiting that area. The inn was amazing, clean, lots of little details in the room that we loved. Breakfast had a great selection of food, the hashbrown was super delicious. Would definitely recommend.

The room was great, location and breakfast were wonderful

location is ok, we had second floor room with nice mountains view. Breakfast was good with a lot of options for person without diet restrictions.
sink in the room and bathtub are old with stains, towels are so old that looks grey. The garbage can had garbage when we arrived. Air conditioner is very old and noisy, so we opened the window but it is on the road, so due to car noise we cant keep it open. Breakfast had a lot of option but only spicy eggs for person who wants to be healthy and not eat a lot of carbs and sugar. No plain yogurt or healthy bread.

Super great location and absolutely amazing breakfasts!
Maybe a refrigerator and a table/desk and chair in the room.in the room.

Normal owners or staff weren't there. There were several young people running the place. They were friendly and tried hard, and I give them credit for that, but I think they were still in training.
Breakfast started at 8:00am. We'd prefer 7:00am. Breakfast arrived exactly at 8:00, and we had to ask for coffee creamer and to have coffee urns refilled.

The room itself was nice and beds comfortable.
It was the hot air balloon weekend, but due to snow and the cancelation of Saturdays balloons we changed our date from Friday to Monday because the front desk woman said the balloons would be here all week. They were not. It was a 4 1/2 hour drive. We paid $244 for a room with no view, and no hot tub. I look up room prices for a weekday this time of year and for our room it's under $120? So we will not be back.

We had the King Cabin; the size of the cabin was very nice and large! The location wasn't bad, my Husband and I could walk to town. There were a lot of deer around the property which was fun to see. Having our own personal hot tub on the porch was awesome after a day of snowshoeing and the fireplace made everything feel nice and cozy.
There were small dead ants all over the cabin. They were on the bedding, on the bathroom counters and in the shower. I can't stand bugs and was trying to not get grossed out by it and in my head tried to look past it like we were camping. I do not know if they had just sprayed or what happened, but it could have used a onceover and been cleaned again, if that is what happened. The fact of the matter is we weren't camping and had spent a lot of money to stay in a nice cabin so that was very disappointing.

Well made cozy cabin with gas fireplace, well stocked kitchen, dining area, comfortable king size bed in separate bedroom, private patio with hot tub. Deer in wooded area behind hot tub. Amazing homemade breakfast to include quiche, steel cut oats, fruit, and scones.
Nothing to speak of. We have stayed here for over 6 years and every time it’s an amazing experience.

The property is nicely located within walking distance of Winthrop center. We have stayed there several times before, however a long time ago and after a recent ownership change we found it somewhat disappointing and suspect that the high rating on booking.com dates back to before the change. We had unbeknownst by us booked a basement room (this fact was not mentioned on booking.com) with no windows (ie no fresh air and no view of the snow outside) in the main room, only one in the door on top of the stairs of the entrance. You are advised to make sure to not book this room. Luckily the friendly staff were able to relocate us to a nice room on the first floor, with views, a nice bathroom, coffee maker and two beds, one of which was comfortable, the other not. The breakfast buffet had mostly healthy choices that didn't vary much from day to day.
The basement room aside, the hot tub was not in operation and apparently hadn't been for a while. It was the advertised promise of a hot tub that made us book this inn as a soak is what you need after a day of skiing. We didn't find out until we arrived that there was no tubbing. We argued for a future credit towards another stay, also in view of the fact that the room we were relocated to was less expensive than the bunker. This was refused by SMS after we left which seems silly since such a credit would most likely have us come back next time we go skiing.

Good location and very good breakfast.
You must to choose the room before booking or you may get a room in basement.
