About this apartment rental
The Bank is a newly renovated, two-bedroom apartment overlooking Dartmouth harbour. It's beautifully styled and both cosmopolitan and relaxed. A striking feature in the main bedroom is the copper bath, framed by the bay window overlooking the water, an en-suite walk-in shower room, and the WC. There's also a second shower and basin. The bunk bedroom is ideal for the children, and the chic contemporary kitchen and living area mean the family can gather from breakfast to bedtime.
ACCOMMODATION
This second-floor apartment is accessed via flights of stairs. Beyond the front door, you immediately know this apartment is a cut above. Design touches reflect this distinctive building's history (the Racing Green is a nod to its time as Lloyds Bank). The living area and well-equipped open kitchen are sophisticated and inviting. Separated by the generous breakfast bar, the lounge area has a large sofa and chairs.
Through to the main bedroom, and there's a surprise in store. A copper roll-top bath rests in the bay window, which overlooks the harbour. Take an extra-long soak (copper baths keep the heat longer) before retiring into the plush super-kingsize bed. If you're not yet sleepy, a large-screen TV can be activated to rise from the footboard. The master bedroom also features an en suite walk-in shower and the WC. There's a second washroom, too - with a shower and a basin. For small families, there's also the bunk bedroom.
OUTSIDE
The Bank couldn't be better placed for exploring the best that historic Dartmouth has to offer. The harbourside is a great starting point to stroll the embankment.
PARKING
It's a 4-minute walk to reach the main Mayors Avenue Car Park. Short-stay on-street parking is available outside The Bank around the Boatfloat, alternatively further onstreet parking c an be found on the embankment (restrictions during May - September) There's also a Park & Ride on the edge of Dartmouth.

The WiFi was poor , as a result the TV in the lounge was not able to be tuned, constant spooling .
The wardrobe in the bedroom unable to hang your clothes ( strange set up ) !!

We had the most delightful stay at The Bank in Dartmouth. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very stylish. The rooms were airy and light with super views over the harbour. The central location was great for evening walks and popping back for a cup of tea in the daytime. Parking on the street was free from after 4pm until 11am the next day but a parking permit would have been handy. We would definitely stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem in Dartmouth. The updates to this property are lovely. Everything feels new and in great condition. We liked it so much we extended our stay for longer, which was also very easy to sort with a quick phone call. Hope to be back soon!

Lovely apartment. Very clean with great facilities. Bang in the centre of Dartmouth. Excellent for accessing all the shops, bars and restaurants. Only one slight downside and that is the lack of parking. Very limited parking in Dartmouth and this was in the off season. Still, a highly recommended apartment.

Hello we have just had a week at The Bank in Dartmouth - overall we had a pleasant time here , however we had a few issues with the expensive apartment i.e the en suite shower was blocked and would not drain , contacted Dart Valley Holidays problem never got sorted which was annoying as we paid for a luxury en suite and could not use it , also the fridge door was not fitted to the integral door properly and was very difficult to open , again not repaired during our stay . Also during our stay upon returning to the apartment we was met at the main entrance door with a estate agent and 2 other people requesting the keys to view the property as it was up for sale - totally unacceptable while we was on holiday with all our personnel belongings there also.
Overall the apartment is in a good but place but noisy at times due to the traffic and lorries unloading and been a bus route also.
Kind Regards
Shaun

The apartment is lovely and spacious, all the facilities were top notch. A great location right on the harbour, easy to park and to access local routes and minutes walking distance to local cafes, restaurants and ferries.
Would definitely return if we’re ever visiting the area again. Thanks!

We have just had a really lovely 3 night stay in Dartmouth at the very lovely Bank apartment.
The apartment itself was just as described and perfect for our first visit to Dartmouth. We wanted to check out the area and specifically to tour the BRNC as our son is planning to join the Navy in a couple of years.
The apartment is perfectly located to enjoy all that Dartmouth has to offer. We specially enjoyed the close proximity of such wonderful eateries and the Champagne bar Platform 1. ( we are not used to being able to walk anywhere to go out!)
My only suggestion for the accommodation is that it needs some hooks to hang coats on and coat hangers for the wardrobe. Apart from that, we had everything we needed for our time there.
I can highly recommend The Seahorse for a meal. The staff were attentive and helpful, food was divine and we only had to stroll around the corner.
We will definitely stay again!
