Adequate accommodation in an excellent location.

There was no breakfast but a kettle and basic cooking facilities. The location was very good, within a few minutes' walk of the main Avignon sights and places, and parking at Les Halles was only 3 minutes away. The room was clean and thebed was comfortable.

The apartment was a studio so space was limited with modest storage space and a rather minimalist bathroom suitable for slim people! While no fault of the owners, the little street seemed to attract people fond of loud late night/early morning conversations.

Chapeau to super host Joachim for a wonderful stay in delightful Aigues-Morte

Due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to stay in the apartment advertised and Joachim very kindly offered me the use of a private apartment in his home that is normally kept for family use. It was a great place to stay, within the city walls and very handy to the town square with its numerous restaurants and cafes. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped (including an espresso machine and generous supply of coffee pods), a spacious living/dining room, compact kitchenette and large ensuite bedroom with an extremely comfy bed. Insect screens at the windows kept the mosquitos at bay and as a solo woman traveller I felt very safe and secure, both inside the apartment and out and about in the neighbouring area. Joachim is a thoughtful, generous host who even came to meet me at the rail station and my stay in Aigues-Morte was perfect in every way.

There was absolutely nothing I disliked although I found the shower a little tricky to operate until I was shown how it worked.

On a passé un super séjour !

Très bien situé , le logement est super! Mention spéciale à la literie qui est vraiment top! Tout était parfait , merci beaucoup !

La situation géographique qui correspondait a ma demande

Logement très petit, pas de quoi poser sa valise ou son sac, salle de douche minuscule et aucune étagère ou meubles de SDB pour le linge ou poser sa trousse de toilette. Brosse des WC SALLE et récipient pas nettoyé Et surtout il n'est pas préciser sur booking que tout l'immeuble est en RBNB donc des portes qui claque toute la nuit , et des départ et arrivé en permanence

Ottima soluzione per soggiorno ad Avignone

Appartamento grazioso, silenzioso e in posizione strategica rispetto al centro della città, rispondente appieno a quanto indicato. Eccellente il servizio dei gestori (Adrien & Florent), con tempi di risposta in pratica in tempo reale per ogni messaggio o richiesta inviati, e risoluzione immediata di ogni dubbio o necessità di chiarimento in merito ai servizi dell'appartamento. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo, lo consigliamo!

- La déco - La propreté - L’amabilité d’un des gérants que j’ai vu quelques minutes - Le calme : l’appartement dans lequel j’étais était pourtant au RDC côté rue. Si des bruits de rue (passage de piétons et de véhicules) peuvent se faire entendre en début de soirée, cela n’est pas le cas le nuit contrairement à ce que je craignais - La mise à disposition d’un micro ondes, d’un mini frigo, de couverts et d’une couverture supplémentaire

- L’eau chaude de la douche a une durée courte, mieux vaut être rapide - La table pour prendre le repas est vraiment très petite… - Peu de place pour mettre les affaires/vêtements - Le mini frigo est bruyant - Les coussins étaient peu confortables mais cela reste à titre personnel (cependant, le matelas l’était) - On entend tout ce que font les voisins dans les couloirs

Center of Town, Aesthetic, Accessible

Inside city walls so easy to walk to food or shopping. Parking garage nearby was Les Halle which was fairly close and affordable.

You have to take out your own trash and do your own dishes which was really no problem anyways.

It was just OK at best

Location

Mosquitos, broken air conditioning, sofa extremely uncomfortable, patio used for junk storage and dead plants, duvet not suitable for warm weather and no air conditioning, king bed much too large for small bedroom, instructions for arrival sent week after arrival. Tourist bureau had to intervene to help us find apt and occupy. Found owner/managers inept.

Good location

2 flights of stairs with heavy bags in a spiral staircase very difficult. Noisy refrigerator. Paying expensive prices and the host expecting the guest to empty the garbage and take 150m to s public bin as well as having to strip the beds before you leave. What is the expensive price for if they expect you to do the work for them

Comfortable well located apartment

Good location. Nicely renovated, well located, attractive, older style comfortable apartment with windows that open into the street in a quiet street in the old city. 11am checkout time quite generous.

The rental agency could improve it’s general customer service. Firstly there was confusion over our apartment allocation. We were sent check-in details to a studio apartment rather than the larger one bedroom we’d booked. It was fairly quickly sorted out when the owner came on site but inconvenient and annoying after a long journey. We had carried our very heavy suitcases up several floors on a spiral staircase and then down again. The supply of basic catering provisions in the apartment was minimal - 2 tea bags, 2 coffee pods etc and when I inquired for more was told no. Prior to check out we received a series of messages: reconfirming our check out time, depositing all garbage from the apartment in municipal bins on the street, stripping the bed and piling up the sheets and towels, washing up all dishes. Hard to justify a cleaning fee in the booking!

A fantastic break in beautiful Avignon in a lovely apartment.

Excellent central location. Very quiet but everything easily accessible. Great wifi, air con, shower, towels and all facilities in the rooms.

No handrail on the stairs to the first floor - this would improve safety.

Charming little place within the old walls of the city. Comfortable, but a tight fit with our 4 suitcases.

Walking distance to most attractions. Nicely renovated classic building in safe area. Many nearby restaurants, cafes and bars. The host provided some good suggestions.

Taxis have difficulty finding. I suggest asking host in advance for instructions for your driver. It would have been helpful if there was possibility to store luggage after morning checkout.

Beautiful apartment in perfect location

We loved the charm of the building and the apartment. The location was perfect. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Avignon.

The Booking.com website entry gave us the impression that toilet rolls were provided. In fact only a couple were provided to start. Also the courtyard garden whilst beautiful, was being used for builders working on other parts of the building so it was not so easy to use. These are small problems, overall we loved the apartment.
