The space
Fully air-conditioned, Villa Tranquila’s spacious 3,000 square feet spread out over three levels provides just the right balance of personal spaces and common areas. Meticulously handcrafted local wood, vibrant tropical colors and natural stucco finishes combine to create the perfect retreat for families, couples and friends. Sunlight streams through windows throughout the Villa, bringing the natural beauty indoors, while thoughtfully landscaped exterior gardens showcase Costa Rica’s plentiful foliage. Whether indoors or out guests will find an environment like no other, where the stresses of daily life seem so far away.

Villa Tranquila is your personal (and private) resort:
As you pass through the front doors you enter your own private resort, complete with comfortable sun loungers and chairs, an invigorating fresh water pool, pool toys, and a gas grill. All you could need is right there. If traveling with babies or toddlers there are safety gates available for the doors that lead to the pool and for the stairs.

The comforts of your home away from home. Nighttime and tranquility – a perfect match. Each one of Villa Tranquila’s three bedrooms and sleeper sofa are furnished to provide a great night’s sleep with soft yet light sheets, comfy pillows and blankets. Then next morning is another day to explore and experience the Pura Vida life, refreshed and ready to go. All bedrooms at the Villa include an en-suite bathroom.

Master Bedroom #1 (second floor) features a queen-sized bed, overstuffed armchair and ottoman and a private outdoor terrace. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a rich cup of Costa Rica’s finest coffee while planning the day’s events.

Guest bedroom #1 (second floor): features two twin beds, a spacious sitting area, and built-in dresser with vanity. A full sized wooden crib is optional in this room instead of one the single beds. Children's books, toys and teepee are available for this room.

Guest bedroom #2 (third floor): features a queen-sized bed and attached study/office/playroom space with a desk and a queen-sized sofa bed. If traveling with young children the study can be set up as a play room with a pickler triangle, a ramp, an arch, a ball pit and a swing.

Open plan living at it’s best!
When you enter Villa Tranquila you are met with a large space containing the Villa’s fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, spacious dining room and comfortable living area. In the lounge there is a 65' TV with international channels, Netflix, HBO+ and Disney+. There’s also a convenient ½ bathroom on the first floor.

There is access to fast fiber optic wifi (100MB) throughout the Villa (3 separate routers).
