► Beacon Hill, along with neighboring Back Bay, are Boston's most exclusive and charming areas. The centralized location and renovated 18th century Georgian-style homes, brick sidewalks and gas-lamp street lighting give an old-time charm to the historic neighborhood, which was once owned by William Baxton, the first European settler of Boston in 1625. Residents now include Senator John Kerry and other celebrities of the political, athletic, and financial worlds.

► Downtown Boston: Walk a few minutes to the City Center for shopping and dining, the Financial District, the Theater District, Boston Common and Public Gardens – the oldest public parks in the country.

► The famous Freedom Trail is just steps from your front door. Follow it to Faneuil Hall, Boston's tourist center, to plan your sightseeing for the day. Don't miss the street vendors at Haymarket (the country's oldest outdoor market), the shops at Quincy Market (the country's largest indoor food court), and the street performers and nightlife outside Faneuil Hall.

► Back Bay adjoins the Beacon Hill neighborhood, offering scenic brick-lined streets, Victorian architecture, and plenty of opportunities to people-watch and do some upscale shopping on Newbury St., touted as the "Rodeo Drive of the East." Nearby Copley Square is home to the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, Boston's two tallest skyscrapers.

► Easy access to government, health care, the Financial District, and area colleges, including Harvard, MIT, BU Dental, Suffolk, MGH, and Northeastern.

This is a very easy place to get to; it is really close to all Train Lines.

Close to the Orange Line - State Street, Government Center, Haymarket
Red Line - Park Street, Downtown Crossing, MGMH

This is a small room next to the MA State Legislature and the Boston commons. The room is clean, and the bed sleeps well. Perfectly functional is all you need is a place to sleep. I would not recommend this place for more than one guest. It's simply too small - and there's only one chair. The kitchen is performative only. Despite there being two hot plates, there is only one small saucepan. So you can make rice, but no beans. And certainly no fried eggs for breakfast. There is also no towel to dry your stuff with after washing it. As others have mentioned, check-in is a disaster for this place. You have to walk downhill to a 7/11 half a mile away to get your key from a small lock box that the cashier of the 7/11 does not know is there (it's on the right of the entrance to the left of the ATM). On top of that, they gave me the wrong code, so I ended up with the wrong key, and had to go back to get the right key with a different code. Dragging my luggage up and down the hill again. There are better solutions for this. Furthermore, whomever runs this place is so busy reminding you of all the rules that even threaten involving the police if you don't leave on time ("only for the bad apples") that they will not welcome you at any time. So, if you just need a bed next to the MA Legislature or Boston Commons, this place is great. Just don't expect to be welcomed.

Location of the property is great - within walking distance to all major Boston attractions, train lines are super close! Downsides - can hear everything in hallway/room next to you, air conditioning unit would kick off in the night and we woke up sweating, slightly musty & would have appreciated a cleaner unit. All in all, it was fine, but probably wouldn’t stay here again. Pros and cons, depending on what you’re looking for.

The bed was very high off the ground. I could not get into it without dragging the chair over and climbing on that. you would think a simple step stool might have been provided. Every time I had to get down and get up this was quite annoying. Air conditioning was on with 55 degree temperature outside. No blankets were provided even though I was told there should be. It was uncomfortably cold and I could not adjust the temperature. Then I was told that regardless of being so uncomfortable the contract did not allow for refunds. Ehhh :-( Find another place. It's more expensive than a comparable hotel room.

the check in process was so difficult- we did not get an email or any information about checking in until a few hours before check in. when we went to go pick up the keys the keys were not at the KeyCafe and we had to wait 45 minutes after check in time for someone to bring the keys. once we finally got the keys though the apartment was great! clean and exactly like the listing. there were toiletries and lots of clean towels and pots and pans in the kitchen. the location was absolutely perfect as well!
