The famous Tin Can area (water is knee deep, sandy bottom, volleyball net set up in the knee-deep water) of Old Hickory Lake is close. Marina with boat/jet ski rental and restaurant 1/2 mile away by boat. Cedar Creek Marina, Gallatin marina, and JBeez's have the boats and jet skis.

See the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman, Honky Tonks along Broadway/2nd Ave., Riverfront, Country Music Hall of Fame, Titans Football, Predator Hockey, Sounds Baseball, Schermerhorn Symphony Hall, BlueBird Cafe, just one of many signature music venues, General Jackson Showboat plus more Music City attractions. 20 minutes to Nashville International Airport.
This property is generally not a good fit for rambunctious getaways. This is a family neighborhood with friendly retirees on both sides of us. We want to keep them friendly. Out of respect for them, please plan to dial down loud socializing and music about 10:30pm. Thanks.
Sip coffee on the covered deck in the mornings as you watch the ducks, geese, bald eagles, grey herons and other birds. Drive into Nashville and catch a music show, concert or play. Sit by the fire roasting hot dogs, making s'mores and telling tall tales. There are so many things to do here. Come and enjoy a special time in a magical place.

My family and our friends booked this Lake House for the 4th of July, and we definitely weren’t let down! There was plenty of indoor space and outdoor space to spend quality time together. The kayaks and paddle boards and pedal boats were also a great amenity! We will definitely be booking again! This is perfect for a great calm, relaxing family getaway!

Tastefully decorated, spacious cottage with lots of options for family fun. Yard games, board games, quiet neighborhood and beautiful lake view all within 30 minutes of Nashville. We were able to enjoy boating, kayaking, paddle boards, fishing, golf, sightseeing, s’mores by the fire and much more. Thank you for sharing your property with us. Comfortable beds and ample kitchen space. Love having the view of the lake whether we were inside or outside.

This was my 1st attempt at a VRBO and wow have I been missing out. Having 21 and 17 year old kids, hotels have run their course for our family. We booked this for my nephew’s wedding and it was so convenient and accommodating. The views, the property, and there was firewood to have a fire if we had time.
100% will come back and stay here when I visit my nephew and his wife.
Thanks!

The property is exactly what it is advertised to be. The cottage was very well kept and clean. Plenty of room for my wife and I and 3 kids. The paddle boards and kayaks were a lot of fun.

9 day visit was so much fun for the entire family. The home is emacutate and yet very comfortable. Caught fish from the dock, paddle boarded, kyaked, lounged in the hammock, board games and bon fires at night. Conviently parked the boat at the dock and used it daily. House is located just a short boat ride to Tin Can to play shallow water vollyball and a 10 min cruise to Awedaddy's for fuel and dinner. Only 10 min drive to groceries and resturants but secluded enough to have a piecefull and relaxing stay. In my opinion its perfectly located!
Everything in the house worked well including the AC which was a must to reprieve from the warm and humid July days. Communication with the host was very good and very accomidating.
I would highly recommend a stay at this charming home.
Thanks so much Ed for being a great host!

This place was a perfect location and space for our family. Although it rained during our stay, we were able to enjoy the screened in porch and cozy couches in the living area & just be together in this beautiful & immaculately clean space. If it hadn’t rained you bet we would’ve been on the water or gathered around the fire pit area. It’s awesome!

Ed has a fantastic property on the water. The sunroom is perfect for lounging and cooling off. Not a huge bed snob but the bed was comfortable and better than most we have stayed at. Ice machine on the fridge works, back a cooler and enjoy!

Great family venue w plenty of spots to enjoy the home and outdoors! I had five adults ( two couples) and worked well. Beautiful windows, patio, screened in porch, kitchen and bathroom! Even enjoyed the hammock!
We balanced the weekend with a few trips downtown. Highly recommend Wild Beaver which has karaoke and a mechanical bull. We did take advantage and enjoyed kayaks and the pedal boat. We rented a pontoon for a beautiful day on the water from Cedar Creek Ranch who were very nice and even blew up a float we brought!
Minutes from groceries and a great retreat! Easy check out and all and all a beautiful property. I hope to make it back again someday !
