Stayed in the balcony room, was absolutely fantastic, so spacious and comfortable, had a mini kitchen with microwave and all equipment you could need for a short stay. Excellent location to walk to shops and restaurants. Parking available outside, approx £4 for 2 hours, but from 6pm - 8am it is free, we got up at 8am to put a ticket on just in time before the Traffic Warden arrived so be aware of this. Only issue we had was that you are unable to control the heating in any way. Room was cold but we sent a message to the number provided in the room and it was turned on so result!!! Wi-fi was also turned off in the morning but that wasn't an issue for us.

Comfortable and clean room, great location and tasty breakfast.

The staff was welcoming and helpful especially with parking and restaurant recommendations. Our breakfast was very good and ample. The property is in need of overall maintenance - painting, a thorough in depth cleaning and some repairs. We had difficulty working the shower although the bathroom was new and newly fitted. It appeared as if the family were newer owners/ managers who hadn’t had time to do everything required as yet to make the facility the best it could be.

Perfect location. Awesome family staff! Room was clean and large bathroom.
Will stay there again!

Perfect location right in the middle of town. Great hosts, generous and couldn’t do enough for you. Spotless and I shall be staying there again.

Stayed in the refurbished lower ground family room. Lovely room, nice furnishings and extremely clean. The owners were professional and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. It was centrally located with everything on the doorstep. We would stay again.

Exceptionally friendly owners who couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you! Great hotel location.

This is NOT a 4* HOTEL. It could best be described as a 3* Guest House. It has none of the amenities expected of a hotel. No reception (front desk), No bar, No restaurant, No guest lounge. The owners are nice people, but it is not what we expected from the on-line description. We stayed in the Executive Double Room, Balcony, Garden View. and whilst the room is as shown on the booking page, the bathroom is a small add-on shower/toilet room barely 4 foot wide behind the bed.Overall VERY disappointed, especially since it was a get-away birthday celebration.

We stayed for 2 nights, the location is perfect right in the heart of Cheltenham. The Promenade is stunning lovely traditional Cheltenham townhouses and the council house. Fantastic hosts and great choice for breakfast. Our room was at the back bit still had some view, was very well presented and the bathroom also. The only challenge can be the parking as you may have to wait or drive through the Promenade a couple of times until a space becomes available, however, its not a deal breaker.Overall a great stay and I would definitely return.

We arrived at 9:45 pm on Aug 24 and found the front door locked. We rang the bill and got no response. I had to look for another room for the night. Luckily we found a room at a near by Holiday Inn Express. Only later did I see an email that said the that check in time ended at 9pm - very early!. Also in the Expedia listing, the Prom appears to be a typical hotel. This is clearly not the case. I am out over $250 for this. I would like to be reimbursed.

Room was at the rear of hotel facing an extremely noisy bar and busy road making it difficult to sleep with window open which was needed as there wasn’t air conditioning or a fan.

The hotel is in a great location right on the Promenade opposite the high end shops and within 5 minutes of the Montpellier district. It was very handy for popping back and forth. The hotel suited us very well though as we live in the country the traffic noise was a shock but we were a city so what would you expect!. Very accommodating owners.

The guest house is situated at the centre of the town - a convenient location. Bus stops, major attractions, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. It is run by a friendly family. The family room that we stayed in was cozy and clean (the bathroom a bit small though). Breakfast was cooked by the guest house owner on order every morning.

Greeted by Rani who very kindly had our room ready a few hours early.
Really couldn't fault our stay. Everyone was so friendly and couldn't do enough to help !
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Full english and continental.
Rooms large and beds soo comfy you sink into them.
The establishment is situated in the prom, overlooking some lovely shops.
Will definitely stay here again !
Thank you Rani and Raj.

Awful hotel, in error I booked the wrong night and out of courtesy the hotel owner contacted me to ask if I was going to be staying. On discovering the error, we discussed and the owner said he would let me have the room the correct night and I would just have to pay the difference in the daily tarriff I.e. £20 was the difference. On arrival at the hotel the whole scenario changed and they wanted half the regular rate. I argued that I understood they were being generous but the deal was not what we had discussed and that I would only pay the £20 we had agreed. They were having none of it so I left and gave my money to a decent hotel that was actually cheaper than the rate they charged for a basic backstreet B&B

hotel in a great location 5 mins to shops and 3 mins to town hall owners very nice and helpful we realy enjoyed.

A nice play to stay, with welcoming staff and a great atmosphere!

Well located in middle of town - parking about 3-4 Min walk generally comfortable - more like a B&B than Hotel - not too bad overall.

this hotel is placed city center. You can go everywhere using by bus. There are many bus stops near the hotel. My room was spacious and clean. It was perfect!

From the price and location I was expecting a luxury hotel but, as well intentioned as the owners were, this was more of a tired B&B.

A family run establishment more B&B than hotel.
On arrival I was greeted by a friendly host, but a little surprised there was a toddler asleep on a sofa, more like a home than a hotel.
It was stated there was parking, on arrival I was given a piece of paper and directions to a car park 5 minutes walk away.
The room was large and bed comfortable, heavy curtains meant the room was dark, and we were told that the heating would be on and to adjust the radiators. The bathroom was large and clean.
Bathrobes were included but there weren't any. No bathmat, we used one of hand towels instead.
No fault of the owners, this is an establishment in the middle of Cheltenham and on a Saturday night it was disconcerting to be woken by rowdy groups.
The hosts asked what time we would like breakfast and most of the guests chose the same time, however this wasn't a problem. I'd noticed that the pastries and plates of jams, etc. were on the buffet table on the day of arrival, so I avoided. Also having glass topped tables over white cloths made it seem like a cheap café. Full English breakfast is the standard breakfast, but our host inquired what we would like and was more than happy to adapt. Breakfast, cooked to order, was quick to arrive and met expectations.
Upon leaving the host was very helpful and more than happy to suggest places of interest.
While we enjoyed our stay I don't feel it was worth the £130, I did expect more luxury.

Stayed on business. Hotel clean. More like a bnb
