We had a pleasant stay in the apartment. We stays for 5 nights in summer and got all we needed for a price that was lower than anything else in the area with all facilities just for you. The host was nice and polite. The cleaning is basic here, so dont expect shiny apartment. You will find dust if you look for it and some surfaces show traces of usage but you will not find traces of previous guests. The bed was quite comfortable and we liked how spacious the apartment was. We did not use kitchen to cook but the equipment looked also basic. Even in warm summer days, apartment was quite cold inside and since it is in the basement, there is constant humidity so count with that when you book. Overall if you look for budget option with all privacy, I would recommend.

When me and my partner arrived at the property, the shower looked as though it had just been used, and the washroom smelled like it had just been used. The apartment is underground and every surface was covered in a thin layer of dew, which made for a very uncomfortable sleeping experience. Everything was dirty, mold and mildew were growing in the washroom, and dust filled the air. Nothing had been washed, and the host noted that they recommend guests to bring their own sheets, blankets, and pillowcases (even though they advertise providing bed sheets). We found many insects both dead and alive and had to check the bed every night before we went to sleep. We were also asked not to cook (even though they advertise having a kitchen), and did not have even the essentials to clean with, only an old mop with no bucket.
The location is amazing with a very nice trail that leads to the more commercial areas, and is a 5 minute walk away from two bus stops. We had a great time during our trip, but honestly dreaded coming home every night to such an unkempt residence. Even with the great location I would give this place a 0.5/10.

The space was perfect for 2 and absolutely perfect location near stores and walking trails.
The only thing I would suggest is to offer a working pan/pot tu use on the stove top options. The pot that was offered didn’t work due to material type. Ended up having to go purchase our own cooking wear
Other than that host was always available and quick to answer any questions we had

We enjoyed the location. The apartment was very dusty. The bedroom head board had a thick layer of dust. It bothers the people with allergies to be in a dusty room.
Though the listing said parking available, the parking was an issue. There was no set place for parking and we parked in front of the house beyond the sidewalk. It was not a secure location. We also didn’t get enough heat for the basement. Basement was very cold. The time we visited it was cold in Canada.
The owner was friendly.

My first impression when I came in, was that it was a full 1 bedroom suite with newer laminate flooring. It was filled sparcely with old but useable furniture. I own and rent investment property so I do renovations and repairs to update my properties. The bedroom did not have a fitted mattress sheet, no upper sheet, and just an old thin comforter. The bathroom had old towels and a towel bar that was screwed into a piece of plywood which was obviously an inexperienced handyman installation. The faucet was not polished so did not look clean and the shower caulking was all moldy. I was even thinking of going to Home Depot and getting supplies to clean and replace the caulking. The baseboards had overspray of white paint in several areas where the owner did not bother to clean the paint off the dark laminate floor. That was odd. The kitchen was again sparsely equipped with a few plates, bowls, and cutlery, a jar of Nestle coffee and a jar of whitener. The induction hotplate was new but I couldn't use it as there were no compatible induction pots or pans. I was using it for sleeping and I was off all day so it served my purpose and the price was right but if I had brought my wife, we would have had to seek other accommodations. If they want they can hire me next year to come and exchange my cost of staying for me to reno and repair the honey-do list. Lol. With a little effort and help they can make it at least 3 Star.

The owner seemed lovely however the place was quite dirty.
- unswept floors
- garbage from the previous tenant
- baseboards were quite dirty as well as the area around the toilet.
- It very muchfelt as though the sheets had not been changed

We were south of Toronto which worked out perfect for our traveling back and forth. We did enjoy having the extra space of an apartment and the price for our stay was great. Mohammad greeted us and made sure we were settled. It is a basement apartment, open floor plan. The counters were with crumbs and had not been tended to in a while. The bathroom baseboards , floor and shower were quite dirty. I will say the place reminded me of home as far as my place gets dirty as well. I would suggest however when having guests that the bathroom, counters be cleaned and cobwebs are swept away. The queen memory foam mattress was comfortable. It felt more like visiting a family than having some hotel luxuries.
