The hotel pictures look great, and the hotel itself is an amazing building. The room was good too, but that's where it ends!
We arrived after a long journey hoping for some food only to be informed the chef was feeling 'iffy' so they weren't doing food. We were asked about breakfast, and we both said a full English, which was noted, and were informed breakfast would be served at 7am. Given it was around 6pm we decided to go to the bar for a drink. Only one lager on tap, which fortunately was one I like, only to be told, they'd run out (this was a Saturday!) We wanted an early start in the morning so arrived for breakfast at 7.15 am only to be told, breakfast wouldn't be served until 8am! We therefore had a hot drink, and waited. At 8.10am I asked the member of staff who knew we were there for breakfast, if we had to order? She said yes, so we did. She then informed us that despite me having paid for a breakfast when booking online, a full English was an upgrade, and wanted 10 per person extra!. We said no, and went to see the receptionist, who then said the breakfast was an upgrade and I'd have to pay £18!?!. At no point were we informed of this when we spoke to a man on reception the previous day, who began every sentence with the word, sweet! So we left. I asked to speak to the manager, but she wasn't there until Monday, and she would call me. No call, so I called the hotel to be informed she was on holiday and they didn't know when she was back! Unbelievable!

Very modern room with excellent facilities. However we found the bed very small and the heating in the bathroom was inadequate.
Primarily a function destination the hotel has no bar or restaurant that one would expect in a city hotel, also no lift.
4.8
The hotel is definitely very stylish and staff are very courteous and friendly. However our room is very small and so is the en-suite which feels a bit claustrophobic. There is barely any space between the loo and the shower for example and the hand basin is only just big enough to receive the water from the tap. Pretty and bijou I would say. One night is tolerable. Glad I always pack an eye mask as I definitely needed it with a huge bright light directly outside the window which is so close it is touchable from the bed .

Such a lovely little hotel in a great setting as shops, train and coach station are close - just walking distance.
I was unsure what to expect, and a little concerned about being given a room on a high floor as there is no lift!
But I found it’s beautifully decorated with amazingly friendly staff. Alex on reception is such a lovely young man. He took me and carried my case upstairs, making sure I had everything I needed.
I met the manager and complimented her on a great hotel. I would recommend Parrs Bank highly!

What an absolutely beautiful little hotel. Very stylish, clean, comfy and friendly. Really enjoyed it Definitely recommend!

The hotel is wonderful and also the staff is very very friendly!! One little remark, if you don’t take continental breakfast everything is 10£ more per portion… I mean, the rooms are not that cheap for Warrington, then an egg should be included in my opinion!

The Hotel is stunning, secure, spotless clean and the staff are amazing. This was my second trip here for business and I can't fault it one bit. Will definitely not be my last stay here !
4.8
Beautiful place, fantastic hosts, right near the train station so we had easy access to Liverpool and Manchester.
4.8
Private parking which was easily accesible right beside the property. The hotel was bright, modern, lushily decorated and the rooms were practical and well-designed. The only downsides is that it is near a busy transport interchange and hub for nightlife so it can be a tad noisy. Also the dining options are quite limited but the food was generously portioned and delicious. Furthermore, due to the nature of the property, no lift is available so I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you have difficulties climbing stairs. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was ideal for our needs.

Ok so if you're traveling by car your first experience is trying to get into the car park. One suggestion here is that the hotel invest a little bit in getting the car park remarked. If you traveling by bus it's literally just across the road and train it's just under the arch. It's an old bank and looks like it except for the fact it has been modernized to a beautiful standard. There's a little cafe as you go in on the left, reception on the right. The stairs seem to go on forever but that could just be my wonky knee! Two floors no lift. We got taken to our room by the gentleman on reception which was a lovely touch. The room itself was in the eaves (?) Or maybe the addition of the bathroom into the floor plan , so it was a slightly odd shape which did mean that moving around from the other side of the bed was a little awkward but that said the room was lovely and had all the requirements; although I would have liked maybe a jar of coffee rather than a couple of sachets. Bathroom has a walk-in shower which is straight above you with an additional hand shower. Plenty of water and a lovely temperature . In the morning for an additional £10 we topped up the free continental breakfast into a full English of local produce cooked to order and cooked with extreme care. We would definitely go back to this hotel again, it's exactly where we wanted it and the quality of service was brilliant.

Employees are fabulous! They do everything they can to make your stay wonderful!

Beautiful hotel. Staff very helpful. Some local noise at night from nearby pub, but that will come with the territory for a town centre hotel.

Great team of staff and a very nice place to stay.

This is a lovely hotel, beautiful decor, fascinating history and friendly, helpful staff. Standard double wasn’t huge but big enough and good value, bathroom was good, lovely shower. All linens clean and nice quality. Comfy bed and pillows. Continental breakfast was perfect, warm croissants, cereal or porridge which was tasty, served with honey and fruit, juice and coffee. Refills were offered. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is easy to find and parking was o.k , it’s very clean with very helpful staff. Modern with all the necessary for a good stay. The down side of this hotel is that the standard double is more like a cubbyhole than a bedroom , very small and hardly room to move in the bathroom . We moved into a deluxe room complimentary of the hotel and was much better. If you enjoy a t.v you need to be aware that tv channels,at present are only available through your mobile app , but I was told that they are changing this soon. Continental breakfast was good .

I travel to Warrington quite often and I have stayed at various area hotels. This was my first stay at Parrs Bank and I plan to return. A stunning refurbished property with tastefully decorated and functional rooms. Steps away from the bus terminal and the train station, walking distance from the mall, the stadium and great restaurants and pubs; it’s centrally located yet you barely hear the hustle and bustle of the street below. Attentive staff, great daily breakfast. Small downside: no lifts, but the helpful staff are on hand to help with suitcases…quickly forgotten! Overall a 9.9/10!

Lovely hotel. Very comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Will be returning.

Simply amazing from start to finish. Everything immaculate and the comfiest bed and pillows EVER

Helpful and friendly staff. Good continental breakfast. Only downside no lift.
Easy access to town centre.

A boutique hotel in Warrington with its own car park, and a v short walk to Warrington Central train station, with trains to Manchester/Liverpool, and across the road from the bus station. The hotel is very clean with a modern decor style. The rooms are spacious, although the TV is a "cast" one, which means there are no terrestrial channels-you link to your own TV account. Great if you know your account password, limiting if you do not.
The shower in the bathroom was set up so the controls are at the other end to the shower head, which is ultra convenient.
continental breakfast is included in the price, but for an extra £10 you can get a cooked breakfast, and I heartily recommend this. It was all freshly cooked-even my request for crispy bacon-and was so worth the additional tenner, setting me up for the day.
I recommend this hotel if you need to be in the Warrington area.

What an excellent little hotel with attention to detail and personable staff who go out of their way to assist. nothing was an issue for our stay from an early check-in to allow us to get ready for a funeral to providing a bagged breakfast as our departure time meant that we would have missed breakfast altogether. Recommend without exception.

Lovely hotel. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Ok stay was expecting a lot better after seeing the previous reviews
Check in was ok but then dropped in its continental breakfast if you want cooked it’s another £10!
It was a terrible continental porridge floating in milk don’t think there was any oats in it !!
Tv didn’t work
Bar wasn’t open and evening receptionist was very unfriendly too busy watching stuff on his mobile won’t be staying here again!!
4.8
Top class customer service, hands on owner ready to assist at all times. Excellent staff.

Great transformation by very hospitable owners. Clean, cosy, room slightly tighter than decor and aura deserves but that's a friendly opinion. Very comfortable stay. Breakfast was our room and it was lush! Porridge/granola, fresh pastry, coffee, fruit juice and piece of fruit. The cafe downstairs is a treat. Hope to visit again one day

Very good stay. Rooms were decorated nicely with all the mod cons and hotel was clean and inviting. Breakfast was fresh and staff were very friendly.

Brill room, great breakfast, lovely service, definitely coming back here

Lovely hotel, great location
4.8
The hotel was really nicely decorated. Lovely staff who were nothing but helpful and accommodating. The only concerns we had which we fed back were that the TV didn’t have channels, we were told later are designed to chrome cast channels from your phone, but that wasn’t made obvious in any of the information provided and that the standard double rooms didn’t have the extras made to look standard on the website (such as a bath, robes, slippers, space). The car park was difficult to find but again the staff were on hand when calling to personally guide us in. The staff were so open to receiving feedback and the optional cooked breakfast in the morning was excellent and well worth the £10 supplement. Will definitely book again. Next time maybe to try one of their suites which look to be amazing. Thank you for a great stay.

This property is immaculate! The cleanliness of this property is unmatched. The cafe downstairs with a proper barista was heavenly. The convenience of transportation and the shopping center was amazing. When we come back to Warrington this is the hotel we will be returning to. 10 stars!!
