About this cottage rental
Located in Old Hunstanton, this lovely little coastal cottage features a charming seaside theme and offers a very tempting glimpse of the sea from an upper bedroom window. With excellent local amenities, and a beautiful sandy beach only a short walk away, Seaview Cottage is a great all year round hideaway for couples or a small family, at any time of year.
Built of traditional local stone, the original detached cottage, which dates back to the 1700's, was updated in 2016 and now offers modern living with a touch of character. The downstairs, principally open-plan, is divided by a staircase in the middle that offers access on either side to the adjoining room. Walking into the cottage from the front door, on the left is the kitchen with dining area and on the right the sitting room, with a blue coloured coastal theme connecting the two. If you feel like dining-in, the kitchen is very user friendly and well equipped and, around a corner, has a small but useful utility area with an all-important wine cooler for that newly purchased local wine. The sitting room at the other end of the cottage is a really cosy corner for when you are ready to chill out and relax after an active day out and about - perhaps spent on the beach or exploring further afield. You are spoilt for choice! When it's finally time to retire, upstairs there is a choice of two bedrooms - a king-size room or a full-size twin one where the beds can be pushed together, or separated, to suit (please note: only single duvets provided). And, with one of the bedrooms offering the sea view, you might need to roll a dice to see who gets that one! Both share the use of a bathroom that sits at the end of the landing.
Outside the cottage benefits from a sunny paved courtyard area at the front, just the spot for toasting the day as the sun goes down and witnessing the wonderful sunsets that this area of North West Norfolk is renowned for.
Additional Information:
Sorry, no pets.
Travel cot, high chair and portable stair gate available (please request at point of booking).
Pillows and duvets are synthetic fibre.
Due to a poor signal, Wifi is only available in the kitchen area.
NB: The cottage sits side on to the coastal road.
