Location excellent with ski-in ski-out on the Family slope just above the quad lift and ski pass centre. Family slope and lift runs into late evenings for night skiing too. Short hill walk to main street where there are restaurants, food vans and groceries - but beware the ice as it isn't always cleared from the road! Ski valet service is very helpful - can just call down in advance and they will get your equipment out for you. They also help with equipment returns to rental companies such as Rhythm Japan which will collect from the hotel daily. The entrance/exit is one level without stairs so easy to navigate even with ski boots.
The suite was very modern with wood fittings, fireplace, balcony onsen as well as a hot tub in the master bathroom, and a fully-equipped kitchen (which we didn't end up using though). We ended up booking the 3-bedroom suite although it was just us travelling as a couple due to booking our honeymoon rather last-minute, so the price was steep for us but reasonable if split by 6 people. We greatly enjoyed the spacious lounge and large TV (with Netflix)!
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, giving a full tour of the room and its facilities when we arrived, helping to arrange transport of us, our luggage and our ski equipment for free from our previous hotel, and even gifted us sparkling wine and a card for our honeymoon stay. They also assisted to book dinners and the airport bus, and provided free transport to all of these.
We were a little disappointed that the balcony onsen directly overlooked the Family slope and as we were on the 3rd floor we could not open the blinds. Other apartments facing the other side of the hotel would not have this problem though. There was some onsen information from the hotel stating that crystal bloom was normal in the mineral-rich water, however our balcony onsen water looked like there was some dirt apart from the minerals. We informed the staff about this and they apologised for our concerns and stated they would arrange a cleaner as soon as possible, however we were only staying 2 nights and by the time the cleaning would be done we would have checked out. The staff arranged for us to use the large baths privately after closing time (in the basement, for hotel guests without in-room baths) and we did confirm that the water in the large baths looked cleaner than the water in our balcony tub. While the cleanliness was suboptimal, the staff did their best to rectify the issue (albeit our time with them was too short to review the results) and offered a good alternative (private use of the large baths).

Very clean, modern, luxurious with great service from all staff.
There is only 1 kaiseki restaurant in the accomodation itself. Also I’m not too sure if there was any room service for food available.
