Lower Ufford has two good local pubs, including The Crown renowned for its excellent food offering. The village of Melton and the small town of Wickham Market are also nearby. A picturesque and thriving market town of Woodbridge, less than ten minutes away, is dotted with independent boutiques and shops, a thriving independent cinema and an excellent variety of restaurants and cafes. Suffolk's coastal highlights of Aldeburgh, Orford and Thorpeness are just a short drive from Upper Barn.
