Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. Rooms were spacious and clean, beds very comfortable. Well equipped with ironing facilities, hairdryer fan etc. Didn't have dinner so can't comment on that.
Nothing I can pick on at all, very good location, attentive staff, good facilities and allover good stay.

Excellent location

How easy it was to access the restaurant, spa treatments with lovely relaxing areas included, and the pool with a jacuzzi and steam room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and close to amenities. Set in lovely grounds with a large car park. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
The sauna was far too hot. Unusable.
No additional special menu on the Saturday night in the restaurant.
Minor things which didn't spoil our stay.
3.9
Nice dining Al fresco
Facilities in thermal spa were not working, the door on sauna in main area locks and cannot open from inside so quite dangerous, steam room very very hot.
3.9
Breakfast buffet was very good.
Location ideal for showing my friends part of Suffolk.
All the staff were great. Especially Thomas, Dylan and Younis.
All fine

Room was large and comfortable.
Spa was lovely.
They didn't take any form of cash payment, so we had no choice but to pay on card which is unacceptable as cash is legal tender.
Some if the staff were completely disengaged from their clientele. Upon asking a question we were given a one word answer, no greeting no interaction whatsoever.
Twice we asked for items and both times we were forgotten.

Well decorated to high standard - rooms large and well equipped. Heated towel
Rail in bathroom nice extra. Very comfy and very large beds - super king. Food very good in the restaurant- staff friendly and helpful - all in all a lovely stay
Nothing

Large bed, 24 hour check in , good breakfast. Had a good nights sleep
Tap Water tasted odd, no bottled water in rooms. I would make the reception area more welcoming.

The golf range. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful.
Although the room was listed as having free Wi-Fi, it was so weak that it was almost non-existent and kept dropping out. I was unable access much of my work and therefore restricted on the work I was able to do. I also found when I got into bed that the bed was too short and my feet were over the end. I am only 6' and therefore not requiring a specially long bed so this was not acceptable. When I tried to contact reception to see if a room change could be arranged where the signal would be stronger and the bed of a normal length, the line was constantly engaged thus leaving me no alternative but to stay put. Due to the uncomfortable bed and also the noise from some kind of machinery/generator within that part of the hotel I got very little sleep and still the engaged tone when trying to contact the hotel night manager.

Room was lovely , wasn’t lacking in anything .
No staff around at breakfast wasn’t very welcoming , had to find own cutlery cups etc for breakfast … should have been someone front of house … but the breakfast was good … they need another coffee machine !

I thought the restaurant had amazing food and the staff were incredible
The corridor carpet between rooms has a stench which lingered, giving the impression it hadn't been cleaned for a while.

Clean and tidy
Bathroom was a bit tired looking but was ok

staff very friendly, everything was nice and clean. lovely location.
it felt like the management were trying to save money. staff always friendly, but also nearly all very young (lower minimum wage?) Breakfast was clearly the cheapest possibly ingredients. staffing during breakfast was inadequate for the number of guests. We had two towels in our room, but one was hidden in the desk drawer, and not discovered till our last day so we shared a towel.

We were so impressed with Ufford Park, we looked up membership online during our stay. It was friendly, the food we had was good, the room was really nice and the staff were excellent. We used the driving range, played the mini golf and the chap in the golf shop was so helpful.
We felt the bar was a little overpriced and only had one selection of cheap vodka, although a lot of selection on gin and whisky, a couple of premium choices would have been good.

Room
Some staff not caring
Tables need to be cleaned quicker
3.9
Very noisy and basic facilities despite the price
Very noisy and some facilities closed but did not realise in advance

There was plenty of choice of food for breakfast. Full English, fruit and selection of cut meets and cheese, yoghurt, cereal, pastry, tee and coffee. Whatever you fancy.
I've used swimming pool which was good, changing rooms need an update. There is plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy a drink. Staff was very nice and helpful. Crazy Golf on the doorstep was also great. Room was comfortable and for what we needed for 2 nights.
Just the pool changing rooms which need an uplift.
3.9
Too long queues for coffee for breakfast. Either need another machine or provide pot of coffee at the table.
Shower a bit weak.
Prefer not Nescafe in room.

Nice spacious areas to relax. Swimming Pool was wonderful. Breakfast was fine BUT it would be nice if hotels didn't have those toasters that either just warm up the bread or set it on fire !!
On arrival I was confused by the ROAD CLOSED sign and I went on a three mile diversion which got me nowhere. I also flagged down another driver who almost made the same mistake.
A sign indicating HOTEL ACCESS OPEN would be useful or an advisory message to guests telling them to ignore the road closed sign
3.9
Friendly staff, wonderful location and cleanliness.
The only thing that was an issue was car parking- with many people visiting to use the golf facilities, there was no free car parking spaces for guests at the hotel
3.9
Good service, clean comfortable room. Good staff.Good food.
It was cold. I am not one to normally moan about such things but it was no wonder the bar was empty as it was uncomfortably cold!
There was also loads of noise from the room above post midnight which kept us awake for sometime
3.9
beautiful
grounds, lovely staff.
not very clean, glasses still had lipstick all over them. no room service during stay, not even bins emptied.
3.9
seating in the public areas , we felt was poor . But this is a golf hotel and serves the golfers as a club house therefore lacks a certain feel that one would fine in a normal hotel.
3.9
It was a lovely relaxing experience, staff were lovely. Check in was easy
Lovely place however the food really was not worth how expensive it is. It was £16.50 for a lasagne and it’s the most expensive lasagne I’ve had and it was so dry with a nasty taste. Pasta sheets were so hard I couldn’t even eat it. My husband had the shipping valley burger which was full of gristle. The food seriously lets the whole experience down!
3.9
Breakfast didn't offer gluten free option. There are good quality gluten free items readily available now. So it shouldn't be an issue. Although there was a good overall selection for everyone else.
Staff in general were friendly and helpful.
The grounds looked lovely although we couldn't explore due to bad weather.
The local cab firm that the hotel suggested were very helpful.
The massage was pleasant.
The sofas were well worn!
The bed was a lovely width. But at 5ft 6 my feet hung over the end.
For my 6ft husband, it wasn't comfortable.
No warning on the Internet booking screen that there was a training exercise booked for the pool and 20 men. Although only half the pool was cordoned off, I didn't feel comfortable about going in.
My face got burnt in the steam room. I was only in there a few minutes and I came out. It was extremely hot. I didn't realise the extent until I went to the room and still later that evening that it was red and painful.
I reported it to reception when checking out and the receptionist said well it looks fine. I was a little taken aback. This woman didn't know what I normally look like. All she said was she would tell maintenance to check.
The lounge / restaurant area had a truckers stop / canteen vibe.
