Nestled in the pine forests just outside Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Escape is a magnificent 5BR/5.5BA home. With capacity for 14 guests it is ideal for a large family getaway.
Enter the home into the main floor great room with a huge vaulted ceiling and spacious open-concept kitchen, dining and living area. Be part of the family fun while preparing a meal or cozying up to the beautiful fireplace. Watch a movie on the flat-screen TV or simply enjoy the stunning mountain view framed by the large floor-to-ceiling windows.
This home is built on four levels on the side of the mountain. Each level has its own wrap around deck. The main level deck gives easy access to the grill while the bedroom level decks offer a quiet getaway for those who need a little time to themselves to breath in the mountain air. 4WD or AWD vehicles strongly suggested for winter months.
The second and third levels, downstairs from the main level, each have two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. Each bedroom has its own ensuite full bath ensuring that everyone gets ready in time for the daily hike or an evening out. The Sky Pond bedroom on the second level below the main floor adds an extra touch of romance with a private fireplace and jetted tub! The fourth and lowest level has two sets of bunk beds, enough room for four. Just off the game room it is an ideal teenage hang out. The game room is a great place to gather for a game of cards, to watch TV or to have an air hocky competition! Each bedroom has bedside charging station with USB, USB-C and AC ports.
The two beautiful fireplaces will keep you cozy in the winter and the central AC in the upper two levels will keep you cool on warm summer afternoons. The lower two levels have fans in each of the bedrooms while, even in summer, the dry mountain air cools down at night becoming a little chilly by morning. No better way to sleep!
A special feature of this home is the level 2 EV charger with an SAE J1722 connector which is compatible with most EVs. Teslas require an adapter. It is set to "open", just pull into the garage and it is ready to use!

This home accommodates 14. This is a great home for a family reunion, especially with grill out back on the deck.

We loved our stay!

The Estes Escape was very nice, clean, and spacious! We had eleven members of the family that stayed from Friday night until Monday morning, and we were never wanting for additional space. There was plenty of cookware, plates, glasses and silverware for the preparation of meals. And the view from the windows was out-of-this-world! I highly recommend SkyRun for all your accommodation needs in the Estes Park area. We have stayed in SkyRun facilities twice, and have always left impressed!

We had 3 families stay for our annual vacation and had plenty of room for everyone! Very clean, lots of extra bedding, kitchen well stocked, beautiful decor, gorgeous views, loved the sound of the river and the elk bugling! Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom which was so nice! Lots of stairs with no main floor bedroom which might be an issue for some. Kids loved the park down by the river. Wish we would have known that the closet by the front door had all the games/puzzles in it as we didn't realize it until we were leaving.

Easy access to RMNP. Loved the little neighborhood.

The main floor had plenty of space for the 11 of us to hang around and sit. The morning views on the top deck were absolutely breath taking!

Great property and location, lots of rooms, great view
4.8
Perfectly nice house, nothing broken, all was well appointed. Really easy checkout process. Personally not a fan of the interior styling, but all cabins and country homes seem to share the same styling choices.

Served our family great as a home base with lots of room to spread out after full days hiking in RMNP. Close to the south entrance was great considering north side is under construction. House has 4 levels, so lots of stairs. Didn’t bother the kids but older adults may not be thrilled. Overall a wonderful stay and the sound of the River all night was great.

Only a few hiccups, but they were all instantly solved. The house is in a beautiful location and the price was great. We had a wonderful time. Would recommend for families, those who want to see a different side of the park. Over the weekend we saw about 50 elk, 20 deer, a mountain lion and more!

House had everything we needed and it was awesome each room had its own bathroom. Great views

This was a great property for a large family. Plenty of room for everyone. The great room was spacious and beautiful. Plenty of seating and large table. There are lots of stairs. Just put the younger ones in lower levels.
It is very well stocked. You don’t need to bring any cooking supplies. The only problem we had was getting up the icy and snow covered hill. We only had one 4 wheel drive vehicle. We had to leave the other 3 vehicles down the hill. Management did get the road cleared and salted a couple days after we arrived.
Over all a great property.

This house was amazing! So much space and great furnishings, decorating.
This house is four levels, so a lot of stairs - but great for privacy between guests. We came from out of state, so we rented a van for our large family at the airport. The road this house is on isn’t maintained, so we had to park at the bottom and walk, or shuttle with our 4WD guests. So if renting a vehicle, get a 4WD.

Loved the views and the spacious rooms

We had a great time. Great location. Felt like home in so many ways and look forward to returning as soon as we can

Great location! Had a wonderful time! The place accommodated our needs very well!! The staff was responsive and very friendly.

We had an awesome stay at this property over the Christmas week. The house was clean, as described in the rental, and had everything we needed with amazing views.
4.8
The house is large, but on 4 levels, so our family could be all together upstairs or have separate time as well.
We had 2 issues while there - water heaters that needed pilot lights relit and a CO monitor with a low battery
- property management responded quickly and took care of both issues. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
4.8
Overall we were pleased and thought it was a nice place for the price. Upon arrival, we could not get the fireplace on and called for help. We never did hear back from anyone but were able to light the pilot on our own and get it up and running. The place definitely needs a couple of fixes like the oven door closes very hard, the trashcan foot pedal does not function, and the storm doors should probably be replaced to fit so that critters stop getting in - there are traps everywhere which leads to one to believe there is an issue. Also, would be helpful to highlight in the listing that it is 4 floors and there are no bedrooms on the main floor. There are a lot of stairs! Thankfully my 80yr. old mom was able to manage. One set of sheets had hairs on them, which could be an issue with the dryer, or perhaps they were not changed. Either way, a bit of quality control may help with the cleaning crew. The layout is really great for multiple families b/c of the bathrooms in each room. Also, the basement with bunks and game room would be super fun for families. We enjoyed the decorations, and all the effort and thought that went into naming the rooms, and making it feel cozy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

In Estes Park to attend a wedding. Our entire family of various ages stayed together. Plenty of room for for everyone, lots of bathrooms! Wish we could have stayed longer.
4.8
This was not actually the property we stayed in. Less than 60 days out we had a change to our group. Julie was able to transfer us to a different property, Bishop’s Retreat. It was amazing! At first we were disappointed that the soap and other toiletries were not left for us so we put led up some hand soap. We had the other toiletries. On our last day we discovered we were not smart and we had not opened the medicine chests in our bathrooms. Lol!!! Sure enough! It was all there. The place was spotless. We had a notification that the owners may have pets they bring to the property, but we sure couldn’t tell! Beds were super comfortable. The views were amazing! Check in and out was very simple. I’d absolutely stay here again!

The property was clean and easy to find. The area was beautiful. The house was great for multiple couples and families with kids.

Overall nice stay but I would encourage you to add Hot tub if possible

Had a wonderful vacation in Estes Park in this lovely home.

Great house for large groups, close to town and RMNP.

THE BEST home we have stayed at during our National Park adventures. It has everything you want! Perfect view from the kitchen and every floor (4), comfy/homey and thoughtful bedrooms, GAME ROOM!, very spacious, by the river and best of all the Rocky National Park Entrance is only 5 min away. Thanks again for letting me and my friends stay at this beautiful cabin. Will definitely be recommending.

Stayed with extended family, perfect space for kids and adults!
4.8
Such a beautiful space, the home and the view! Lots of common space for gathering and enjoying each other’s company.
4.8
The views were incredible from so many areas of this house. Our family (which included infants and small children) thought it was well equipped. The location was ideal as we spent a lot of time in RMNP. We will not hesitate to rent this again as it became our home away from home.
4.8
This house was set up perfect for our family get together of 14 people. The main floor was wide open with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out and be comfortable. The massive dining table was great for games and meals! It’s a quick drive to downtown or to RMNP. Check in and check out was smooth. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything you’ll need for a large group. Highly recommend!

This property provided my family with a place to stay for our son's wedding. It was perfect for our large group to get ready for rehearsal dinner and the wedding. We also enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.

Property was great except for furnace was broken. Staff was great in getting us portable heaters and management was gracious in refunding one night. They even offered to move us to another location, but it was in 2 separate homes and we were pooped from the snowy hike. So we just decided to stay. Would've given 5 stars if the furnace wasn't broken.
