Fabulous hotel. luxury feel. Great location and great food in the restaurant.
Parking is tight but we booked and the space was reserved for us.
I doubt the BMW driver had reserved a space and ended up carelessly parked without a proper space or consideration for anyone else - resulting in a million point turn to get out of my pre-booked spot!

As ever a great stay at the Hotel du Vin Exeter, friendly and professional staff and lovely rooms, and mine was no exception this time.
The breakfast was made to order which was absolutely delicious, it really is a USP in these days of hotels serving up a dried up breakfast buffet kept tepid under lights and bland scrambled eggs which have no colour or taste. So to conclude, great hotel and staff, superb customer service and excellent food!

Very pleasant staff.
We booked a deluxe room which had a good view, however the bathroom was absolutely tiny.

Nice room and pool, good service for the most part, although they spoilt it at the end by trying to charge us extra for a sofabed being pulled out in our room. The room already had a sofa bed in it, and our booking via Expedia was for 3 people, inc. our 4 year old. To try and charge £20 extra a night for converting from a sofa to a bed is ridiculous considering we spend over £500 for 2 nights accommodation! There is also no gym at the property. Surprising as it’s marketed as a spa hotel.

Very pleasant, staff were patient with my husband who has Alzheimer’s disease. Our room was spacious and clean. The food was good. All of this made for a comfortable stay.

Unfortunately the state of the shower was off putting as it needed a good grout cleaning

We have stayed at Du Vin Exeter on several occasions over the last few years and always found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. Its a great location and with the sun shining it is lovely to sit in the rear garden and enjoy the tranquillity. Definitely one of the better hotels in the city centre

Check in fabulous. Corridor reminded you of the old hospital. Room had great bathroom, and the room had everything, but a bit disjointed and felt utilitarian rather than plush. Colours didn’t work - see picture.

Nice hotel and excellent value for the single Sunday night we stayed. Outdoor pool is nice, but could do with being an extra degree or two warmer! Parking has to be reversed in advance but worth the certainty of having a convenient space right out front.
