This place wasn't terrible but I probably wouldn't stay again. There was what looked like used towel on the floor of the bathroom when I got there. They had a glass bottle of water that was available but didn't close properly so was probable opened by the last person that stayed. I came for a business trip and they didn't have an iron in the room. I tried to go to the front desk in the morning but it was locked and no one came in until late morning. the bed and bathroom were fine. It's cheap and you get what you pay for.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel and wanted to share my experience. While I appreciate the efforts that the team puts into maintaining the property, I encountered several issues that need attention. The insulation in the rooms seemed inadequate, as I could hear noises from adjacent rooms and the hallway quite clearly, making it difficult to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay. Additionally, the dispensers for soap in the shower were not functioning properly, which was quite inconvenient. Another significant issue was the presence of spiders in the room. Although occasional pests can be challenging to control, this caused me considerable discomfort. I strongly recommend investing in regular pest control services to address this problem. Due to these issues, I did not feel comfortable spending the night at the hotel and ultimately decided to drive back home, which was a 3 1/2 hour journey. I hope the management will take this feedback constructively and make the necessary improvements to enhance the experience for future guests.

Upon arrival, we checked in only to find we were given the incorrect room type. I went back to the front desk and this was met with an excuse that another employee “must have given it away”, which was then followed by 20 minutes of staring at a computer screen and occasionally clicking away. This was followed by 10 minutes of talking to another employee, then another 10 minutes on the phone. I told him that if they did not have our room (a dbl queen) then he could just provide us with 2 rooms with a single bed each. He followed that with “well, we would have to charge you the difference”! My response was that I had properly booked the room and the error was solely that of the hotel. Eventually we were given the room we were booked. The bummer was that the sunset occurred while waiting for the host to get his act together. Not sure what the $38/day “resort fee” covered…the only thing besides a small parking area was a mildly dirty pool with no hot tub. We will be skipping this property the next time we visit Santa Barbara.

First, I was greeted by a very tired man at the front desk who looked and acted as if he didn’t want to be working. We didn’t have enough towels, and the towels we did have in the bathroom had stains. The room needed a thorough cleaning. We had a room with two beds, and one of them was extremely noisy—every time you turned, it made loud, squeaky sounds. After midnight, the room above us had a party that went on until 3 a.m., making it very loud. I barely got any sleep. I called the 24-hour manager, but no one answered, so I left a message about the noise.

Would not recommend this place the staff is very lazy. The hotel rooms has fireplaces with the glass box and you can burn your hand on the glass very easy. My girlfriend burn her hand and we told them they haven’t even contacted us.

If you want to be walking distance to the beach, and State Street, then this is a terrific option. The rooms have a Boho vibe. They were clean and spacious. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. It is a pet friendly hotel, so be prepared for some furry friends and barking. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Property was okay, but disappointing given the price point and how it presents itself online. Everything was quite basic and bare-bones. The bed was terrible. The mattress had no support and made a lot of noise if you moved around or got up. We will not be back.

The room had a nice aesthetic but there was a mini fridge in the room that was very noisy.
There was also no additional lock or latch on the door so it felt unsafe to me. This was a big negative to a good night sleep as a solo female traveler.
The bathroom had makeup wipes which was a nice touch but there was no iron/ironing board or tea/coffee in the room.
There was tea available in reception in the morning but the hot water carafe had been previously used for coffee so tainted the water making the tea undrinkable.

People passing the room and kids in the pool were a little too loud.

Love the customer service.. Outstanding. However the place is not what I expected for the money. The ‘ocean’ view is actually the main street view, noisy. The trash is out side the motel and the homeless dig through it all night. You can hear it ( and see it). Sheets and towels smell like chlorine. No closet, so don’t bring too many clothes. Tiny tiny room. And it is NOT walking distance from Santa Barbara downtown.

the service was great. room was clean for the most part but the sheets had a bunch of sand in them which obviously made us question how clean the bed was. we would’ve complained but by the time we got in bed it was too late and the hotel front desk had closed.
