Good location and well provided for apartment

Property is rather run down and expect way better for price. Minimal parking and they need to upgrade to a digital TV for more options including subscriptions

The host was so accomodating and I loved how the apartment was serviced every day.

The only redeeming feature for this property is the position, being close enough to the town centre for an easy walk (hilly though if you're pushing a pram or lugging any gear, but then, it IS Queenstown). The kitchen is NOT set up for prepping family meals: two electric hotplates, one small frying pan, a poor excuse for a microwave, and a baby fridge. no real bench space, no real space at all. beds were ok, but not for the price paid. The 'Bay View' I paid extra for was only from the small kitchen window, or if you went outside on the shared walkway/deck. Don't bring a big car if you plan on parking in their underground area, it's tight! We were lucky enough to be given the motor home space right out front of the building, which easily accommodated our Ford Ranger (but right next to the open footpath), but otherwise it would have been street parking which is max 3hrs 7 days a week. Staff were pleasant and easy to deal with. Oh, the hot water was non existent on our last day, and water pressure was really poor (very unusual in NZ from many years experience). All in all, I had many options at the time of booking, but went with this apartment as it read a lot better than the reality. disappointing after 2 weeks in beautiful Cardrona Valley in a stunning 2 bedroom apartment that was cheaper!

5-10 minute walk to town. Time dependent on whether you are walking down or back up. :)
Spacious room. Motel area, so people always coming/going on the street. But very convenient if you don't have a car. Would gladly stay here again.

It had a great view of the harbour. It looked like it needed some renovations.

Bathroom was difficult to use due to the very small size. The toilet sprayed water all over the seat, even when the lid was closed. Otherwise the room and property was great and perfect location to downtown

The room was great however we had to ask for wine glasses and there was no dish cloth to wash the dishes and when we asked they had no idea what I was talking about, the condiments were empty, the parking was available but very tight and difficult

We booked for 2 adults and a 2 year old child and were given a unit with a queen size bed being expected to sleep the child in bed with us. The manager was rude and gave us a porta cot mattress to put on the floor. There was a nail sticking up in the deck and a hole in the stairs going up to the next unit. We would never return or recommend this motel

The location of our room gave us a great view of the lake and the gondola on the mountain. The beds were comfortable with crisp clean sheets with either soft or hard pillows. The shower worked well. The reception staff were very friendly and we had an early check in. A short walk into main Queenstown.
The wardrobe was broken with a big sign saying it must not be used and would be replaced, but it wasn’t. The seating outside was broken and the stairs to the carpark were uneven and shabby. The fridge ice compartment was frozen solid and the missing door meant it froze everything in the fridge. We were told to turn down the thermostat and it subsequently defrosted all over the kitchen floor. The hob was very old and in need of replacement, it was also greasy/unclean so wasn’t used. Towels and milk were replaced, but very late in the day. The WiFi was very weak and the television picture was hazy at times.

A tired old motel. The location is great---close to the central part of the town and good views of the lake and the mountains---the management keeps the motel clean and provides decent amenities and I must mention that my bed was great. However, all of it does not overcome the tired old look of the rooms. The place needs a facelift, especially for the prices charged. An opportunity for a developer. I booked it from 8,000 miles away guided by limited information. Had I known the state of the motel, I would have paid a few bucks more and stayed at a better branded hotel such as the Novotel.

Caples Court had different dates for my visit than my Expedia confirmation. Wi-Fi was terrible. Had to stand by office for it to work. Shower curtain was moldy. Allergies bothered me in the room.

Small but very well equipped, highly recommend. If we had bought our own food, we could have stayed there for a week no problem.

Amazing location very walkable to the downtown. Parking was tricky even with a small car but we made it work. Nice play to stay with good wifi, amenities and views.
