Just okay…there is better value for money at other places in Banff. Temperature control in room was impossible, loud dogs, loud people, microwave in room would have been helpful. Beds pretty uncomfortable.

This was such a cool hotel. From the greeting at the bar to the courtyard with the pool. We loved our stay. Beds were amazing. The amenities were great! Overall worth the price. Will stay here again

We enjoyed our time at the property however the staff at the bar could have been more friendly. The hotel offers a free drink upon arrival and unfortunately when we went down to the bar after dinner for a drink a bus full of people had just arrived and we ended up waiting almost an hour to be able to get a drink (even though we were paying and not receiving a complimentary drink).

This Marriott property is pretty basic. If you aren't planning on being in your room too much this might be ok for you. The guest service was good, the location was centrally located. Everyone was very helpful.

Where do I start with this place. As a frequent traveler to Banff and surrounding areas this is one of the worst spots to check in. The staff was terrible. Not friendly not helpful. For $670.00 a night ?!? The photos make it look decent until you step inside. The rooms don't even have a mini fridge, the hallways don't even have ice machines. They don't even offer any type of room service for 700.00 a night ?!? You got to be kidding me. To top it off myself and my kids got pink eye after staying here. The parking is horrendous they don't even have enough parking for all the guests ! Cheap and cheesy. For what you pay I’d rather go to the Fairmount. This place is not the place to stay. Only nice thing is the lobby smells nice. Beware folks. This is not the place. Trust me. NEXT!

It did the job of providing a place to stay for a decent price in Banff, but wasn’t anything special by any means. Property and rooms are extremely outdated, doors are quite thin, bathroom was very old.

The hotel amenities, appliances and furniture are very old. Air conditioner is very old and doesn’t work, they have an extra fan in the room to cool down. Tried opening the balcony door for some fresh air but it was too noisy. Beds are very old they squeak with every move. Extremely expensive and would never recommend for what they charge.

Staff were nice. Parking is difficult, expecially with the construction on site. No one said there was construction on hotel property right out side the hotel room windows. No AC... except a squeeky fan, so you have no choice but to keep a window open and be kept awake by street noise just so you dont compleatly over heat. And ic thoes dont get ya, the hard beds with springs pushing up will stop you from sleeping.

This hotel is definitely in need of some renovation. Everything looks old and tired. There seemed to be a bit of a smoky smell in the room. One of the strange things is that there is no control of temperature in the room. When we walked in the room it was super warm. The thermostat in the room said it was 25°C however it was set for about 16°. We asked the staff about it and they said that the temperature is centrally controlled for the whole building . They keep it warm so the pipes don’t freeze they said. They did offer us a fan thankfully. They don’t seem to have fitted sheets for the beds. They just have a top sheet laid over the mattress. Not the best in that when you turn around in the night you find yourself waking up laying directly on the mattress. Due to Covid they were not serving hot breakfast however they kindly offered us a bag breakfast. It included a juice box, a muffin, a yoghurt, a fruit cup and a boiled egg. Also served tea or coffee. I can’t say enough about how kind and helpful the front desk staff were! Very accommodating and friendly! I also appreciated the parking in the covered parking lot.

The room was old and was not clean. The heated pool was at 18 degrees but they have a dryer vent that blows steam across the pool so at first glanse you think the pool is warm. We requested a pet friendly room and saw a dried pee stain on the carpet. The bathroom was dirty around toileitte. Brown skum. Breakfast was good. In the moutains but are only view was a wall. Nice balcony with no view.

Overall this was a great choice! while the buiding is not brand new, the bed was great and quiet heating (no noisy fans).I will definitely book again here! Also the breakfast was great.

The beds were horrible, the carpet was DISGUSTING, and it was like a sauna in the room and the whole building - took the whole day to air out with the balcony door open. And that was frustrating because my 2 yr old kept going out there which was dangerous for him so I had to keep running out after him.
