About this house rental
The Kitchen has a large peninsula island which allows guests to cook dinner while mingling with the rest of your group in the dining room or living area. There are several bar stools at the island to sit on or you can enjoy a sit down dinner at the cozy dining nook with views of the lake through the windows.
The Living room has light filled windows that also give expansive views of Waneta Lake, a comfy sectional sofa and an electric fireplace for ambience.
The Primary bedroom is large with a Queen bed and the bathroom is located just around the corner from the Primary bedroom. The bathroom has a double sink and a tub/shower. Bedroom 2 has Twin beds and Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed.
The cottage has a great front porch, facing toward the lake, with a sectional couch and other seating....a superb place to relax while listening to the water or watching the wildlife. Close to the lake shore, there is a firepit in the yard with chairs surrounding it....an inviting atmosphere for evening campfires and smores. Kayaks and a paddle boat are available for guests to use to get out on the lake and a seasonal dock is available for fishing (this dock is not sufficient to tie a motorized boat to).
You will love the quiet of this lakefront neighborhood and the pleasure of lake life on Waneta Lake. Listen to the birds, watch the sun rise in the morning and the ripples on the water, enjoy the beauty of the Finger Lakes region all from the comfort of Sunrise Cottage.
*Air conditioning is provided via wall units in 2 of the bedrooms and the main living area.
*A limited amount of paper towel, toilet paper, soaps, is provided for each guest.
**We ask that renters to be over the age of 25. By booking you agree with this policy and comply with the request that the renting party is over the age of 25.
**No pets or animals allowed at any time. Anyone found to be in violation, will be asked to leave immediately and/or charged an additional fee
**No parties allowed at any time.
**Smoking prohibited except in outdoor areas.
**Parking for 2 vehicles only!
**Lake conditions are not guaranteed and are non refundable
**Guest must comply with maximum occupancy at all times, no exceptions. 6 guests only.
**Guests are asked to initial a rental waiver, sent via email, immediately after booking
Guest assumes liability for use of the seasonal dock and assumes responsibility and liability for damages done to the dock during their stay, whether the damage is done by their watercraft or the guest themselves.
**Seasonal amenities: the seasonal dock, kayaks, and some outdoor furniture are only available seasonally and are typically available for use from mid-May to October
