About this cabin rental
Located in Parks, Arizona, (20 minutes West of Flagstaff), this one bedroom, historic cabin is here to stand out and impress.
Al's Cabin feels serene and rustic on the outside and comfortable, inviting, peaceful and captivating on the inside, You will definitely admire the craftsmanship of this utterly charming cabin. A lengthy remodel was just completed, much of it by hand. Beautifully adorned with rustic and southwestern decor, there is a perfect balance of old and new. This mesmerizing sanctuary combines vintage aspects, beautifully mixed with a gorgeous new bathroom, flat-screen television and a new heating and air-conditioning system. (Air-conditioning is very rare in Northern Arizona.)
The kitchenette is well stocked with a toaster oven, a mini fridge, a traditional coffee maker, and a sink. Having a table that seats two, provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy a quiet meal with a loved one.
There is a private, completely fenced-in backyard with wood-burning fire pit, which is available for you to be able to enjoy beautiful sunsets or sunrises, while staying warm. The adjacent forest is full of Ponderosa Pine trees. Arizona has the largest spread of this particular, highly desired tree in the U.S.
The cabin has a very comfortable queen sized bed for 2, held up by a gorgeous antique bed frame.
The bathroom is beautifully done with a tiled shower with a modern sliding glass door, a toilet and vanity.
Our cabin is clean and quiet, sitting on the edge of the Kaibab National Forest. This little log cabin is about as close to a true Arizona adventure as you can get.
Sit back and relax after a long day of exploring Northern Arizona and enjoy watching some TV, which is on a swivel mount. If you enjoy nature, you may catch a glimpse of elk grazing through the woods. You may also hear the coyotes howling at night, in the far distance, gathering up their pack.
Al's Cabin is an easy drive to the Grand Canyon. The main exit to the Grand Canyon is 13 miles West on Interstate 40, making it only an hour and 15 minute journey, to one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World.

Weeds everywhere. Appears in pictures larger than actual size. In picture, backyard was fenced in and had a welcoming look but in reality full of weeds. Whole area was unkept and not maintained. We had to depart early due to illness.

Traveling through from California to Michigan. We visit the Grand Canyon and it was awesome. Also went to the town of Sedona and loved that city. As for a place to stay it was centralized but maybe a bit too rural. The cabin was clean and all appliances worked but it was very small at about 200 sq ft.

We live in Tucson and wanted to get out of the heat for a couple of days. Two nights was definitely not long enough! We wish that we had planned for at least one more night. This cabin is super clean and cozy. We loved walking up to the little store for snacks and visiting with the two “seasonal” employees.
Careful opening the front door as it will bump in to the bed.
I highly recommend this cozy cabin.

The cabin was very nice and everything we expected. However, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable.

Quiet, out of the way, but not in the boondocks. The cabin was small and tidy. There was a deli around the corner with basics as well.

Other than the bed being a bit too soft for our taste, this was a great place. Great location between Flagstaff and Williams. The dog loved the yard, we loved the fire pit! No complaints from us!

Great get-away from the valley heat! Loved the fenced in backyard for the dog! Super close to a little store if you forgot anything!

When I think of a cabin….I don’t think about a school across the street with school buses going by, and a residence directly in my view with 3 barking dogs, chickens and a rooster and the home owner mowing his lawn. The cabin was very nice just not what I envision for the surrounding area of a cabin
