The hotel is clean, very well maintained and located near the shopping center, fuel station and restaurants. The room is also very clean and very well equipped, esp. with nice Nespresso coffee machine!
A consideration for those who need walking assistance/disabilities, since the hotel does not have elevator, though it is only two floors. For us it was not a problem.

Komfortable Zimmer mit Espresso-Maschine (in den USA nicht selbstverständlich). Gute Parkmöglichkeit beim Hotel.
Kein Aufzug. Frühstück hätte etwas besser sein können.

Beautiful Renovation.
Friendly and helpful staff
The bed was uncomfortable.
The heater in the room was incredibly loud. Like being in a flight path

Nice large room, new/modern style, convenient beds

Absolutely loved the hotel. Just renovated and well done. Only down side was no elevator and wasn't aware of that and just had knee surgery and all 1st floor rooms were taken. A kind guest carried my bag up for me. The staff did carry one of our parties bags. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was clean room was clean. The common area where really clean. It smelled nice (most hotels do not) everyone was really nice thr lady serving breakfast was super nice, friendly and hustling to get food and drinks to people. Check in and out was easy.
Down falls was the breakfast didn't come with the room price (it wasn't much option) no microwaves in rooms and the ice machine was broken. But overall it was great. There was a leak on thr ceiling from all the construction.

Hotel was super clean and in a good location. Staff was friendly.
There was no elevator and we had to hike up and down with our luggage. The breakfast was abysmal for $16. And the room heater sounded like a helicopter but it was not fixed and an alternate room was not offered. Hardly slept a wink all the four nights we were there. There was supposed to coffee all day but it was empty or cups were missing. Had a view of trash bin from room.

clean
the front desk lady was rude

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, as was the bedding.
Rooms need an upgrade, pretty outdated.

everything was near by and away from the craziness in Newport but yet just minutes away
restaurant on the property was closed
4.4
location was good, size of room was nice
no service. did not service the room once in a 3 night stay. Had to go ask for clean towels, toiletries including TP and soap.
had to take our own trash out. Coffee and a granola bar is not a breakfast. no microwave in room. and laundry facilities were not operational.

The departure
Cancellation policy is terrible with Southwest cancelling over a 1000 flights, Check in to the second floor with luggage and no elevator. No toilet paper or tissue in room. Shampoo in two small packets (really). Bed was not made and towels were not exchange had to request from front desk. Breakfast try it you will not like it. Upon departure bill was not provided upon request - it will be mailed - really.
You will never see me again and I go to Newport regularly and so do my friends and I will pass on my experience.

The staff is extremely unfriendly and when we checked in there was no toilet paper in the room and the towels were not clean. There were 4 people at the front desk but only one welcoming the customers.
It was cold in the hotel and it is not welcoming at all. The hall was dirty as well, the walls are extremely thin and we could hear the neighbors listening to music and talking until 1am. I tried to call the reception but no one answered.
The breakfast is not great and they are still using Covid as an excuse not to have tables. You need to take your breakfast in your room. When I complained about the towels and the toilet paper, I had to bring them myself.

Nothing
The male staff working on late shift was very rude, I had a reservation, was told there was no room, worst experience of my life w hotels , drove 5 hrs away back home at2 am and was double charged 600+ dollars .. still haven’t received my money for not staying after my room was given to someone else without being notified.. I will never go to that hotel or book thru booking app again.. terrible experience.. plus their website says they are permanently closed.. go figure.. smh

Loved the price & location! Rooms were clean and thank you Jess for helping us get an early check in! The beds were clean and comfy! And I loved the fact that there was security at the hotel. Towels plentiful and clean. Give this hotel a try , much more affordable than any in the area.
The door was very difficult to open! I was ok with that since we were women traveling alone; also, the toilet paper was very low; thank goodness I brought an extra roll.

Location
Cleanliness, it was gross. We had a moldy shower curtain, blood stained comforter, dirty sheets and hand towels.

Only positive thing was that the beds were comfortable. Asked Staff 3 times to fix our T.V and it was always " I'll ask my manger in the morning." 3 days later and still no T.V

The beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked as well as the TV. One of the front desk workers was nice and very helpful
When we 1st walked in our rooms we checked our beds. This is something we always do to make sure there isn’t any bed bugs. We found pubic hair on the comforter of one bed and several one the bed sheet of the other. There was also dryers body fluid on the sheets which had already absorbed into mattress protector. The floors were dirty, the hair dryer was missing from wall mound, no toilet paper, toilet paper holder was broken and they only provided three towels and three wash cloths for 4people with NO bath mat. There was only a small bar of soap and one sample size of shampoo. The small refrigerator wasn’t working property and needed to be defrosted. The towels we were supplied with had stains on them but since they smelled like Clorox I knew they had been washed. I told the nice dark haired lady at from desk who addressed the issue with cleaning staff and apologized. They changed the bed linings including mattress cover but only made our beds with flat sheet as the fitted sheet, provided us with one roll of toilet paper. They also charge you a daily resort fee just for free parking, wifi that didn’t work, gym which wasn’t worth having and was limited to one person only, and their Continental breakfast which wasn’t impressive at all plus there was NO pool or hot tub. We left our dirt towels, wash cloths, and hand towels in bathroom floor under vanity thinking they would collect and replace when they made their cleaning rounds the next morning. When we returned to our room late the next evening, dirty bath linings were still in bathroom floor and room wasn’t cleaned. I asked the unfriendly blonde haired lady at front desk for replacement towels. She only gave me two towels, two wash cloths and a bath mat. I told her we had four people. She said sorry, that’s all we have and walked away. While getting breakfast one morning, one of the guest said her TV had been broken since she arrived. They didn’t have replacement and no available rooms.

We booked this because everything else in Newport area for the weekend was crazy expensive. We had low expectations going in, but our experience was awful!
Staff were aloof at best. Hotel is old & dingy. It rained hard. We woke to a flooded room. All my wife's stuff has gotten wet. All stuff could say was, yes when it rains from that direction some water might come it. Literally there was an inch of water over half the room, and I HAD TO CLEAN IT UP. Adding insult to injury, we reserved thru booking.com for $217. We actually got billed $320. Hotel says the diff is a "resort fee." WHAT?!?! The place doesn't even have an elevator! Smells to high heaven. Breakfast is only cold pastry. Really a resort fee?!?! Oh wait, the resort fee was included in the booking price, but they added it again. Sadly, the reception claimed technical challenges, didn't give us a check-out statement, so only days later did we learn about this hotel scam. BEWARE.

No elevator. Lots of extra walking.

Breakfast was included, but it was grab and go. It was a mess.
