hotel was lovely but very spread out , so long way to our rooms. Generally had great experience at rooms, pool , work out room, poolside bar. Great view of bay!
very slow service at restaurant and they got the order wrong twice.

The Breakfast was more than we expected. The taco egg was delicious, The next day the scrambled eggs not so much.
Everything else was perfect.
Not getting room service automatically. You needed to ask for the room to be serviced.
Otherwise, it was not a problem.

Price was ok and so was the location. Access to downtown Newport a bright spot.
Breakfast was OK, but only served Light Roast Coffee. Eggs runny but the egg fritattas excellent. Bacon and potatoes were not kept warm enough; absurd. Worse: not enough dresser space for clothing for 2 adults--this was ridiculous. Fitness center small, and the treadmill was "out of order" all week.

Nice facilities, good breakfast
Booked room that said it slept 5 but just had King bed and pull out couch. Staff promptly brought up roll away so worked out.

This hotel is centrally located in Newport. We were able to check in early. Loved that dogs are allowed and there is a great walki g trail to walk the dog behind the hotel. Also, there is a super market, starbucks, and liquor store behind the hotel.
It was very pricey when we booked especially for a Hampton Inn. It would be nice to have the shuttle included with the cost of the hotel.

the second bed was really bad

Booked two connected rooms. Beds were clean and comfortable, and that's coming from a germaphobe! The bathroom had a few rusty yellow stains though, mostly cosmetic, probably results of age. Overall, the rooms were pretty well maintained. It was mostly quiet for the rest of the evening aside from some young children running in the halls. But that stopped by 9pm. Hotel offers plenty of parking spaces! Would consider returning.
They were experiencing technical issues with their computer system earlier in the day and so check-in took a while when we arrived. But to be fair, they looked to be understaffed. The young girl who helped us might need some more training, but kudos to her coworker that came to the rescue - multitasking between two groups of people checking in.

The breakfast was managed very well.
nothing, met all expectations

great location, friendly staff, clean & comfortable room
No fresh cut mixed fruit on our 2nd day (Sunday). Some of the bakery items did not seem as fresh as they should be. No plain (no added sugar) oatmeal or yogurt or soy milk was available. Even the cream cheese was strawberry flavored. A bit less sugar on the menu would be appreciated!

Staff was very nice, and we were welcomed with warm cookies. I also enjoyed the daily flavored water, breakfast was very good.

Room was super comfortable
The hot tub is no longer there. I specifically booked there for the pool/ hot tub only to find out at check in that it is no longer available. I wish the website disclosed this, as I would have booked elsewhere.

Location was good, close to Newport, short drive to get to wharf area. Central to what we wanted. Price was much better than downtown Newport. Hotel was average.
Room was ok, bedding was light, one light blanket and a sheet. Heater turned on unexpectedly, very loud. Unable to shut off for nearly 30’. Then stopped and luckily did not turn on again. Cleanliness was acceptable.

The property was recently renovated - in Facebook t some remaining renovations were still ongoing. As a result, our room and all other public access were very clean and well-maintained. The staff were very helpful and generous with your time.
The location is somewhat distance from Providence although there is good freeway access. It seem to me that the hotel is located in a predominantly shopping centre, fast food, warehouse area so there was good access to all of those amenities. Unfortunately, it’s did seem rather dowdy in the general vicinity.

Breakfast was very good, generous and varied, staff excellent, shower/bath very clean, nice toiletries, and room clean and neat with comfy pillows and quilt. Free newspapers were great too!
One suggestion - make 1 or 2 of the lights in the bedroom dimmable.

The couple with two children next door to us got in screaming arguments with his kids, was banging on walls at 7am. We called the front desk hoping they could assist and call the police, they sent up a mechanic to stand outside their door for 2 minutes - by which point the noise had stopped. They never did anything else to help those poor kids.
The room was unhygienic, they never cleaned it despite us asking them too and we had to ask for fresh towels on day 2.

It was not what I expected.
Most of it had no taste.
