I found the hotel to be clean, and the front desk personnel were pleasant during both check-in and check-out.
However, I must mention that the soundproofing of the rooms left something to be desired. We could hear not only our neighbors but also noise from the nearby rail tracks, particularly noticeable if your room features a sea view. Additionally, guests who are larger than average should be aware that the beds are relatively small. Overall, while there were some drawbacks, the experience was satisfactory.

The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and we were always greeted with a smile.
The rooms are a bit noisy but it didn’t bother us much.

Never had breakfast only stayed one night. Location was good.
We had a mouse in our room so we had to move rooms at midnight.

Brand new renovation, great ocean view upgrade for only a small additional amount, late and efficient check in for ferry passengers
Security seemed very lacking. There is a side door into the property that does not lock (broken) and no key card is required to go up to rooms. The area is not the greatest, and, upon arrival, there was an incident (out of control of the hotel), so I do think this should be fixed. There’s also no parking and I did not feel comfortable leaving my car filled with my items over night.

Restaurant has excellent food and service. Location is great without the traffic noise other hotels in Prince Rupert face.
Was charged more than the rate found on Booking.com and will be more careful in the future when prebooking.
1.5
Not clean, door didn’t latch properly, overpriced, people were smoking on the balconies around us, no air conditioning or fan, water was yellow, took about 5 mins for hot water to come through the taps, parking was on the street in an unsafe area, exposed wiring in the baseboards, everything except the room was not renovated, balcony was dirty and didn’t have anywhere to sit.

Older room bathroom was dirty and stained bedding

Friendly front desk staff
Upon arrival, the floors were not clean, and the bathroom was not clean. We requested the maid service to come back in half an hour at 9am and they did not return. Because we stayed 2 nights, we phoned the front desk in the afternoon to at least ask for some coffee and towels for the next morning. They responded by saying we had to go get them ourselves. We decided right then that we would not ever be returning or recommending!
