Just the location.
The cleaning, the bathrooms are not cleaned. The whole place is messy especially the kitchen. Could have done a great job if properly managed. The location is great, the host is friendly, the whole breakfast is what they stock for themselves as Indians. One of the tea box is expired, not so much to eat, the only bread available is wheat bread.

The room was very spacious and had a balcony that caught the evening sun. The accommodation is located in the quiet outskirts of the town: not a problem for us as we had a car but without one it might have felt less well-situated. The kitchen was shared but was very well-equipped. This wasn't an issue for us as we were there out of season. Had there been a lot more guests staying it might have felt a bit congested. The owners were very pleasant.
Our room could have done with some hanging space for clothes.

We had a room with plenty of space and a lovely balcony that caught the evening sun. The bed and chairs were comfortable. There could have been more space for hanging clothes. The kitchen was communal but very well equipped. It was quiet when we were staying (off-season) but maybe the kitchen would have felt more congested at the height of the season. The property is in a quiet area of the town with good views of the surrounding countryside. It’s a little way from the town centre, which wasn’t a problem as we had a car. Without a car that might have felt more difficult. The hosts were very pleasant and the accommodation had a very welcoming and homely feel.

Clean, and good value.
Needed to drive into town, not walking distance.

Use of kitchen was handy. Lounge area made it sociable. I would stay there again on a future visit.
Bed a little soft for us, 25 minute walk to town.

Residential area felt safe for parking
The toilet was plugged, so I had to use a plunger to flush the turd! The host was a bit surprised to see me, which is why the bathroom was not ready I guess.

Close to where I was working
The communication methods we inappropriate and information communicated was not consistent with the booking.com profile/booking. Upon arrival, no one was there, and I was uncomfortable entering the property without direction. No one leaving the property had info who or where to go for direction. I asked to process payment through booking.com (it seemed like payment was made at time of booking), but then I was confronted at the property. When I tried to communicate on the app to confirm best way to pay at the property it wasn’t responded to for 2 days!! I was also told my 7 day reservation was for 6 days and was asked to leave a day early, causing further conflict. Then told that checkout time is 11am when it clearly states in the reservation that it is noon… was told I would have to pay an additional day! This was my only bad experience ever with a booking.com and I feel information between the property manager and property attendant is very poorly managed!!

easy to check in
could use a little more care with cleaning. Sheets were stained which made me question if they were changed
at all. I am sure they were but the thought crosses my mind. Kitchen well stocked for breakfast but could use a good cleaning.

The outside of the B&B was beautiful, the owners were very friendly and helpful. I arrived at midnight (after taken the ferry from Port Hardy) and a friendly note was left on the door for me with instructions. The bathroom was very large and the bedroom was spacious too. The lady in the office tried to book a taxi for me for the next morning, however the taxi company didnt take any bookings. So the lady in the office offered to drive me the next morning, which she did. Very friendly of her.
I was allowed to use the kitchen at all times if i wanted to.
The toilet doesnt flush very well, which seems to be a problem in several rooms. You need to flush several times for all the waste to go down and stay down. The owners are aware, not sure if it is fixable.
My tv didnt work at first and had to wait for the owner to get home and try fix it as the lady in the office had no idea about tvs.
You could see that the place has been used a lot, it probably needs a little bit of work done, like the ceiling in the kitchen which was patched up temporarily.
Im not used to staying at a B&B and having to make your own breakfast. Here it was self-catering. There was bread in the fridge and some cheese. There were eggs if i wanted to prepare them, but i dont feel like cooking during my holidays.. Breakfast cereal was available as well with milk or yoghurt. No meats.
It was a 45 minute walk to down-town, so probably more suitable for people who travel with a car.

The friendliest and hospitality of our hosts was exceptional. Our room was easy to find, clean and comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on the cloud. So nice to have the breakfast supplies so readily available in the well stocked kitchen.

very clean and good location
Room decor very tired, kitchen very cluttered and no obvious way to turn on main light in kitchen for breakfast (wires hanging from ceiling), no notices to show where things were
