Nice quiet location. Was very much like glamping.
The bathroom was a little small for me.

We absolutely loved the spectacular view from cabin of the majestic mountains. It was peaceful, quiet, and the only
sounds we heard were the various birds. The cabin was set up very well and had everything we needed for our stay. .
We didn't like having to leave after our two night reservation ended.

Very cute and cozy cabin facing away from the main lodge and being somewhat secluded except the 2nd cabin right beside it. Fantastic panorama of mountains, meadows, creeks and woods with all the wild life you can possibly expect dropping by on occasion. Wood fired sauna is similarly semi-private and works amazing. Just a fantastic retreat to get away from things.

Very cute rustic cabin that has everything you need for your stay. Charming location with deer passing by the cabins several times a day and beautiful mountain views. Kitchenette had a microwave, toaster, stovetop burner, and basic cooking utensils (cutlery, pots/pans, kettle, etc). Bathroom had towels, soap, shampoo and hair dryer. The bed was super soft. We loved the log style with high beams. Bonus points for the hosts to allow us to bring along our golden retriever.
The bathroom was small, had to use the toilet sitting sideways

Simply amazing. In the midst of nature. We saw deer, a beaver, eagle, a woodpecker, salmon, and bear paw prints. At night there are thousands of stars to see, even the milky way. The hut has every comfort you need, a full bathroom, microwave, toaster, fridge, comfortable bed and sofa... The owners were very friendly as well and gave us wood to make a fire outside. All in all, perfect place to get away from civilization and enjoy peace and quiet in nature.
I can't think of a single negative thing to say. It was wonderful all around!

this is an amazing cabin both cosy and relaxing. the wildlife came right up to the door. there was a bbq by the stream for some outdoor cooking. coffee and a French press in the cabin for lovely slow mornings.
the bathroom would be tricky if you have mobility issues

Great views of the mountains, amazing patio outside. Coffee and tea were supplied as well as hair dryer and BBQ. Well designed bedroom/kitchen and living room for such a small place. The bed is a double bed also, but it looks like there is a pull out couch as well. We cooked a lot, though there is no oven. There is a microwave, 2 plates and a toaster.
It was self check-in and check-out. There is parking (if you're lucky, you'll have some deers waiting for you upon arrival like we had).
Location is great: 15 minutes away from Golden downtown by car. Close to the Skybridge, Northern Light Wolf Center and Thompson Falls (plan at least half a day).
Hosts had laid out some maps and activities to do with direction in a book. Very useful.
There was a Dyson in the cabin!
All.in all, we had a pleasant stay and would book again if we are in the area. Les and Krys have an amazing domain!
There were some ants and some spiders inside. However, it is to be expected with a cabin in the woods. Les and Krys were made aware and they said they would take care of it, so it should be fixed.
The bathroom is very small. If you are over 6 feet tall, you will not have leg room sitting on the toilet. My husband is 5'10 and had his knees to the wall.
We found some spider webs and dead ants close to the bed, but since there was a Dyson, we were able to clean it up. Walls and ceiling in the bathroom could be cleaner though.

It was cozy, comfortable, views were amazing

Loved the remoteness of the Cabin. We stayed in Cabin 2 which overlooks a small river and an open field with mountains to the distance. The Cabin is cozy in size but works considering there were 3 of us and 1x dog.

Cabin is off the beaten path but is what we were looking for. Very private location, and seeing wildlife off of the cabin deck in the open field behind was great. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed the rustic charm- we loved seeing all the deer and their babies in the meadow while sitting on the deck and loved the privacy the cabin afforded. We also loved that the bed was super comfortable and that we had everything we needed for our time here- as my husband would say, it’s “Clamping”. Everything was well maintained, clean, and very relaxing.
We did feel that the posting was a little misleading as many photos were of the main lodge (which I believe is no longer in use?) and only a handful were of the cabins themselves. That being said, the detailed descriptions were accurate so we already knew what we were getting into and selecting but I could see some confusion for other guests.

So private, well stocked kitchen, lots of wildlife.
Unfortunately we stayed during a heat wave and so the cabin was uncomfortably warm as the air didn't cool until 3am. However, if it wasn't 40 degrees outside it would have been perfect.

The view was amazing. It’s off the beaten path so we were really able to disconnect. We need wildlife and heard through river in the trees. Amazing!

This cabin was perfect. We stayed in cabin 1, the view was great, and it was private and secluded (as long as the other cabin next door is empty). They have a cute outdoor firewood sauna (although we didnt use it) as well as firepits and bbqs. The cabin itself is rustic and very cozy. Love that they allow pets as well (for a very reasonable additional fee), we brought our large dog with us and he enjoyed the surrounding area very much. Krys and Les were gracious hosts and even allowed us a late checkout, although we didnt end up needing it.
We are both very tall (6 and 6ft 5) so the cabin could be a little uncomfortable (the toilet area in the bathroom isn’t made for tall legs so you have to sit sideways), the shower is very tight and there isnt much room on either side of the bed to get in and out. Not a big deal, just expect it.
There’s not much of great trails around by walking distance, it’s a great spot for relaxing and just going on little walks around, but if you’re planning a more outdoors active getaway, it might not be the place for you (unless you want to drive).

Beautiful views, felt like being alone in a remote forrest, while not actually being true and thus having access to x-country ski tracks right on property as well as a well maintained wood fired sauna and the snow plowed from the access path daily. Cabin was furnished with love and care and was very comfortable.
Nothing could have been better. Nothing at all. While the kitchenette was somewhat small and basic this was clear from the description and it provided what we needed and expected. Same with the size of the cabin, room for everything we needed while compact, cozy and warm.
