No air condition & poor air circulation
It seems that there are weekly rentals mixed with daily’s.

The pool looked decent. We had a busy weekend so we’re unable to actually enjoy the facilities but the pool looked clean and well cared for.
The initial impression of this motel made me uneasy. We arrived within check in time and were greeted after a small child ran off to get their relative to check us in. Throughout the check in process we felt uncomfortable and as though we were intruding on this family’s home (noting half eaten meals in the lobby-making us feel as though this was their dining room) After the check in we made our way to our room which was unnerving at best. It was as clean as it could be given the age of the place, but if you are a nervous traveler or one who travels with valuables I would not stay here. The beds were comfortable albeit there was a a concerning red stain on one of the beds in our room- we didn’t sleep on that one. The rooms were VERY DARK with no overhead lighting. They did provide a fan, which was appreciated but it didn’t do much. I understand that accommodation is hard to come by in a small town during wedding season but charging nearly $200/night after tax for this place is absurd.

Close to the water
We were moved to a secondary location with no prior notice which was a motel vs the hotel we booked. Was given a "discount" for being moved; which was the regular rate for the motel vs the hotel. The room wasn't clean and the staff was rude when this was brought to their attention. Wifi didn't work and they were aware of this after complaining but didn't tell us when checking and gave us the wifi password as if the wifi worked.

Disappointed, no breakfast. Good otherwise, needs updating, chipped bathroom vanities.

It was easy to find within a short drive from the downtown. The rooms are nice and big. Our door opened to an inner court with a pool. There is a bar b que guests can use and a small stove/fridge unit in the room.
Both my husband and I found the pillows uncomfortable and hard. The towels were very thin and need to be replaced. There was no place to purchase a cold drink as the only vending machine was broken. Upon leaving the hotel in the morning the lobby was locked and a child directed me how to take an alternate route out of the closed courtyard area. It would be helpful if directions for this exit route and for checking out were left in the room. A kettle and dishes were stored above the stove/fridge unit and that was too high for me to reach (I am 5’3”).

Good location for the ferry.Room was clean.
Hardly any furniture in room,a fire place that was not used, not very inviting
When we arrived a dog was crapping outside the office door, belonged to the lady behind the reception.Reception was dark and unlit, children's bikes and skateboard littered the hallway,a bird cage in the old coffee room that used to have a coffee machine. Not inviting at all.It needs a change of management otherwisw it will die a death. The pool was just a hole full of green water.

Helpful staff. Great location to lower Gibson and walking to ocean, restaurants if you like walking hills. On the highway. Has a pool but limited sun around pool area because of tall trees and not heated pool.
Great beaches around and free parking can be found.
Long weekend, be sure to book reservations at restaurants. Also not all open Sunday, Monday night's.
Bonniebrook beach is an amazing quiet location and the view is beautiful.
Nice friendly people.
The French door in our room needs a screen as the room smelled musty. Hard to air out with just fan.

Very well kept and some updates. Nice little touches.
Check out could have been more clear. The front door is locked until 9am with nobody at the front desk and the side door locks behind.

We encountered an unpleasant situation but as we contacted management we were assured that they were dealing with the problem.

The courtyard with picnic tables and shade was lovely. The staff were helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds fine.
The pool is clean but unheated so only 1 of the 4 of us swam. We were not put in a room next to our other family, but that may have been the layout with the bed options we chose. We repeatedly had to ask for more TP, but it was always cheerfully provided.

It's an older building for sure, but immaculately kept up. I had a room on the inside courtyard. It was perfect for me as I travel on a bicycle so I had a very secure place, right outside my door, to store it. The room was large. The patio door allowed me to let in lots of fresh air. I sleep lightly yet heard nothing at all from other guests the entire time I was there. Nor did I hear any street noise. I very much appreciated the lack of carpet, and what looked like newer vinyl plank floors (or similar product). Check in was simple. The room was spotless. Wifi was great. Great value, I will be back.
Honestly, there was nothing I did not like.

Staff accepted the situation and were able to refund

Wi-Fi worked good, room is quiet big and was clean, staff was friendly.
The hotel is really very old. Very uncomfortable bed, the mattress like jelly, and the pillow is like a stone. The pool was the only reason I chose this hotel, but the water was dirty and swimming was not possible. Photo looks much better than it actually is.
