It was very good our trip is a modern and beautiful hotel, the rooms are not very large but they are beautiful, also the fact that the option to pay at the hotel is not available and you will be charged 3 days before to the card that you put that it is good to know before since the application does not explain it, and when you arrive at the stay you leave 300 dollars of deposit in case they do not have extra money consider it! Otherwise, everything is super! We liked it a lot!!

We spend 4 days, 3 nights
Not provide with clean towels you should mentioned it once we booked so I can take my own towel, they never stop by to pick up the trash that it was accumulated during those days, I ask for clean towels they said there’s no clean ones, We visited the pool same thing No towels, we had to walk thru the Lobby all wet
That’s my point of view. I had spend same time at other hotels and never had this bad experience.

Most everything was fine, except not enough help in the restaurant and not a decent selection of wine. But the food when we finally were served was excellent. The Restaurant could use a make over as well.
Service lacking in Restaurant, poor selection of wine.

This property is away from the daytrip tourist crowds located at a higher elevation. There is a free shuttle to and from town and the ferry dock. The drivers are all really great. No need to reserve just ask front desk where the pickup spots are. The vans are clearly marked with the property name. The room was a good size two queen size beds. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room has a Small outdoor space overlooking the pool. The property is in a garden like setting. I did use the gym which was basic but good. The pool is refreshing and great for a swim. There is a cafe onsite but i didnt use it.
You can clearly hear the neighoring rooms, loud voices, tv and video games at bedtime. This is a problem at many hotels but seemed excessive during the time i was a guest. Theres no fresh brewed coffee station. If you want that you have to go to the bakery downtown which means you have to take the shuttle. There is a K cup machine in the room but its not the same. The property has some light construction going on which doesnt interfere with guests but is noticeable.

Nice hotel clean and with comfortable beds. Nice swimming pool. Pretty location. I would stay there again. Had mini-frig which was nice. Not all hotel have that. I like that it was at little on the edge of town away from the center of town crowds.
If they were was free breakfast it was not advertised or was not made aware of it. But free breakfast was not that important to me. I found no major complains about the place.

We did not get the breakfast…the rooms were very nice and clean
There was some construction going on…not a big deal…we walked from the ferry terminal, about 1/2 mile, when I called to ask how far the walk was, receptionist told me half mile, but did not tell me they had shuttle…walked along way carrying suitcases steep uphill the last 1/4 mile

Location of the hotel and scenery was on point.
The hotel was under a little construction and the spa was not in service.

Our room was nice and clean. patio had an nice view.
Staff was superb, both at front desk & the shuttle drivers. especially Rubin!
the flooring in the halls of the building and on our patio is old and makes it feel a bit less clean. the hot tub was out of service & They were doing renovations so it was a bit noisy but I still enjoyed my stay.

Far away uphill, Lindsey in the front seems to hate her job! Shuttle bus only has 1 so takes longer!
Bed was comfy

they are working on the property however it could be cleaner and have a better shuttle service. front desk employees don’t seem like they want to be there. the whole place needs new management and better staffing. the beds are not comfortable at all.
some views were nice and the shuttle staff was really nice. The front desk not that nice.

Stuff and location
Construction noice at 8 am every day, jacuzzi was out of order, missing closet in the room ( or something to hung clothes) it would have been nice to know all of this ahead. I was refunded $50. Thanks.

Ickes that there was a free hotel shuttle to get to and from the boardwalk. On site restaurant and bar was decent and the bartender was friendly. Shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful with recommending good food and activities.
The hotel room was not very clean. There were gnats and dead ants everywhere including the bathroom. I purchased the family room which had kid bunk beds but no partition for privacy. The bathroom had a shower only which defeats the purpose of a family room- had to bathe my daughter daily as she typically takes baths. The jacuzzi was non operational. There was construction early in the mornings during our stay.

It was quiet and set apart.
Booking.com charged me 895.00 for 2 nights. The hotel charged me 200.00 a night. ( we stayed one more day). Will probably never use booking.com again to book a hotel.

Absolutely Nothing
This hotel has the worst location on the island. Its located on top of a very steep hill, far away from shops, restaurants, the beach, and plenty of better located hotels. So far that they offer a shuttle to get you down to civilization. The "complimentary" shuttle times are unpredictable. I almost missed my ferry leaving the island because of this. They say they come by every 15min but its more like 40min. The daytime staff is rude and non-caring of your situation. They come across as locals that hate tourists. Housekeeping walked in on me once. He gave 2 quick taps, then just barged in. The shuttle drivers make you feel as though you need to give them a $5 tip every time they pick you up because they keep a basket in the center console filled with $5's. If you plan on visiting the island and the Catalina Canyon Inn has the only vacancies, there is good reason. Postpone your trip and stay elsewhere

The hotel was in a good spot. it was close to the golf course and within walking distance to the main shopping area.
There was no jacuzzi which was very disappointing because it said there was. It was difficult to flush because the water filled up very slowly.

I liked the privacy, pool and the foliage around the property. Nice balcony. it was nice that a shuttle was provided to town. it was nice they had a restaurant, although we never at it since it was closed for breakfast.
It was a quite a bit worn down. There was construction going on outside of our room. Even after asking 2 times, no one came to make our beds or change the garbage or give us fresh towels or coffee, we were there for three nights.
