It’s a beautiful spot to stay. Would love to come and visit again.

The location was perfect. They had beach chairs you can borrow. The roof top was perfect to go have a drink and enjoy watching the boat harbor.

There were ants in our room, dead and alive.

Awesome!

The management and staff were wonderful and truly accommodating for our anniversary weekend. If you're lucky enough to reserve while Betsy, Angel and Erik are working, you're in for a well coordinated treat. They worked seamlessly to arrange for macaroons, champagne and house-made chocolate covered strawberries! We loved the free bike rentals to explore and commute around the island. Our stay at the Bellanca was wonderful!

Neighbors were a bit noisy and could be heard through the walls.

We loved our first visit to Catalina Island and can’t wait to go back and stay at the Bellanca agai!

Location from ferry was great, very manageable. We really liked the roof deck with a gorgeous view of the harbor.

The walls are rather thin; we could hear our neighbors, who weren’t very kind with slamming the sliding doors, every time them went in and out.

A lovely place to stay in a good location with friendly, helpful staff.

I had a great time, talked to a lot of fun people.

Perfect location getting to and from the Avalon Casino Ballroom for the Jazz Festival!

Room was a little on the small side for the price I paid.

pretty satisfied for the one night we stayed. everyone and everything was smooth.

beautiful property. no problems checking in.

the room smelled a lot like bleach..even unpacking our clothes back home our stuff smelled like clorox. it had a really strong odor.

the roof top deck was perfect for watching the activity in Avalon bay. the Naughty Fox restaurant delivered to the deck.

it was beautiful and relaxing

the beds are super comfortable. The rooms are a nice size. stunning views from the upper deck

the restaurant on the property was closed for two days while we were there. However the M restaurant next door was beyond divine for dinner only.

Didn’t live up to our stay last year.

Like the location and access to bikes. Also like rooftop area for evening hangout.

Stayed here last year and loved it. This time it was so noisy; very intoxicated people on the 2nd floor outside area and another night smokers outside our door, loud and late. Asked them both to quiet down. Bed and pillows were too soft and 2 very weak drinks were $37.00.

location and amenities were excellent. they have bikes for the gust to ride around town. the restaurant down is delicious with a fantastic view.

I felt like they could have done a little more with the rooftop area.

Very good

Great location right on the Main Street in Avalon. Beautiful views of the harbor/casino/Main Street. This is an older property that has been recently updated to give it a boutique hotel vibe. Bikes and beach chairs are included with room booking which is a great touch.

Not a hotel really overpriced cheap motel

location was good but as all other hotels are in walking distance from everything

I regret not reading the reviews before booking it. honestly the provided pictures are so misleading, I travel a lot been around the world, never saw or had a smaller room, the weird motel vibe , sliding doors with keys from last century, ikea updated rooms and lack of any facilities doesn’t justify the price and who really gave this place 3 stars please?! I knew that I shouldn’t have great expectations of the hotels on the island but this one was absolute shock. We walked around and saw other real hotels with proper facilities and moral rooms interior and size sold cheaper. I can’t recommend this place to be honest.

It was very nice and the staff was great !

The first room we were in was clean and freshly remodeled, however there was no closet and the walls were thin, so you could hear everything happening next door. We upgraded and it was well worth it. We will try and reserve that same room again.

More storage for clothing.

It was a nice hotel just steps from everything, but it was cramped and for the price I expected a little more

The location was great and the restaurant on site was very good, and the bag service to the ferry was really nice.

The walls were very thin so you could hear a lot of noise, the rooms were very small, and for the price it wasn’t quite what I was expecting

The room was not good. Felt like I was in a cave. The air conditioner was really loud. The place needs some serious work.

Location was the only thing we really liked about this hotel, definitely not worth the price we paid.

Our room barely had privacy, the window looked to a wall that was next to the laundry room where many workers would come and go making lots of noise, our A/C was very loud and annoying, they don’t clean, change sheets or towels, or even make the bed for you. I asked for the best room available but I feel like they gave us the worse room availability.

the location and the staff

the price for the up grade on the room was not worth it. The room had no windows and the sliding door was facing a wall. the location of the room was in a corner of the building. The staff mentioned that was the room assigned to the booking third party. I up graded the room to have at least some sunshine in the room. This particular room was not worth the price at all.
