AC went bad 12:00 AM and we were asked to move to new a room and we declined due to the lateness of the hour and this hotel was very accommodating.
5.0
Great customer service. Property is amazing.
Lack of lights to walk from the cliffs rooms to the reception.
3.5
The property had plenty to do. Eating, pools and relaxation.
My only issue was a bug in the room (roach) which I was surprised based on the looks of the room. Only seen one after my room was cleaned. Questioned the door being open while cleaning however that shouldn’t matter.
1.5
The ability to park in front of the room.
Wasted a lot of time trying to navigate with drive closures and the construction staff literally laying in the street. Need clear directions in getting in and in and off the property.
3.0
the resort pool area is quite nice. All grounds are well maintained. Parking is included in resort fee.
Many pools but check to see about restaurants being open or not
the room: the carpet and tiles have been updated but the room lacked attention to detail.
no cleaning unless you request 24 hours in advance which is hard for a 2 night stay. A/C was not the greatest but it was working; felt like damp air. our room did not smell very good.

Everything was great
The rooms need to come with a microwave
4.0

Dated needs repairs chairs need need new cushions by courtyard area by family pool. We wanted to be close to other family members and were not able to.

The facility was great. There are a number of very clean pools. One of the pools has a poolside bar and food. The staff waits on you at poolside for drinks and food, even water.
4.0
It's an old place. $50/day "resort" fee is a lot. Pool water was cold, which was frustrating.

Great for families with kids - especially all the pools. Cool location for resort (old rock quarry w mountain views and hiking trail acess). Liked the overall look/ feel of buildings and 'village' set up. Good enforcement of quiet hours. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Comfie beds. Lots of steps/ good exercise...but also accommodations seemed available.
Only saw one non-Tesla EV charging station next to a bank of Tesla-only stations. The bathroom exhaust fan was too loud.
3.5
Nice clean rooms
No parking
Pools were crowded. Not enough spots to sit
Alot of renovations going on

The facilities were clean and other than the waitress by the pool, the staff was friendly. It's a beautiful location.
We arrived only to discover our room had been booked to someone else. They gave me a prorated room for the first night and didn't get me into my original room until mid afternoon the next day. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the view as I paid extra for a room with a "pool and mountain view". It was a view of the parking lot with a distant side view of the pool. We were told to text a number if we needed anything, one night we requested silverware and got a quick response back that they would have them to us shortly. 45 mins later I asked if it would be easier if we just came and got them, to which I was told yes. I wish they had said that to begin with since 45 mins later our food was cold. Not to mention we were several parking lots/buildings away from the lobby and had to drive to pick up the silverware. I wish I were done but this same night we tried to connect to the Internet following the instructions on the modem, when it didn't work we called the front desk and the employee said he'd send someone up. Needless to say, no one ever showed up and we spent the entire trip without wifi (this could have been fine if that wasn't a listed amenity and if we didn't pay as much). The water village was lovely and we enjoyed the sun, the servers were all very friendly with the exception of our waitress. I ordered drinks using the bar scan available on the lounge chairs. We waited 10-15 mins while people around us who ordered after us got their food and drinks first. We saw our drink sit on the bar for this entire time and we overheard others complain about how rude the waitress was. I finally went to get our drinks and the bartender apologized for her not having brought them over, he said that she should have and that she knew she was suppose to. This is already such a long list so I'll just say, overall, the service was bad for how much this resort costs and although it was a beautiful location, I will not be staying here again.

The room was not worth the price!! The rooms are old. The bathrooms are very old not very clean.

I liked the location. I also liked that the pool was super close to the hotel room. I also like the bed.
The pool had a tampon in it, used, so we didn’t end up swimming and were disgusted with the experience. The bed blanket had brown stains, fresh stains that were still smudging. Staff is horrible, completely unacceptable, called at least 10 times total to either book, ask for a ride “as they are supposed to provide at any time all around the resort, ask questions about tylenol etc. Each time we got hung up on rudely, in the middle of talking, after asking a question, after getting the information we need. Absolutely no greetings were made to us by phone, no manners, horrible. We did not get the rides which were supposedly included with the stay. Fridge was super dirty, we had food to store and it was so dirty we did not want to keep our food there. The 24/7 phone number to text did not respond to us either, even though they supposedly all have the same number so at least someone should have replied. Hotel was a bit overpriced for the service we received, the elevator was loud and every time someone used it we heard it in the middle of the night. We were informed checkout time is at 12. Next day we were ready to leave at that time and called on the phone in the room and asked if we have to checkout in person. She said you were supposed to check out at 11am, she was making a big fuss threatening to charge us a late checkout fee of $50 which she ended up not doing i hope. Our stay was horrible, we were only there for the weekend hoping for something more and were completely disappointed.

I like the waterfalls. That's what brought me to this Resort.
I didn't like that the waterfalls were not on. I guess there was issues with them working properly. But it was a disappointment.
3.5
The rooms were nice a little hot but nice, pillows were awful. The pool areas was not what we were expecting kind of junky. Service was good from the bar.
4.5
Rooms were nice.
Parking is horrible and when have to park behind your room it’s not easy to walk up the hill to get to your room. Especially when it’s super hot.
4.0
Very beautiful environment. Easier to get your rooms once you figured out the layout.
No valet parking for check-in

The views are beautiful! The movie night was fun!
The pool area is dirty! There was so much trash! the floor was dirty (it needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. Some of the buildings are run down.
The communication between staff sucks! I did have one really nice pool side host! loved her but the rest, nope. No one smiling, no greetings when you come in and no one could answer questions.

We have have stayed at Tapitio many times in the past. It makes for a great staycation, especially if you have kids. They have many pools to choose from including a water slide. They have a shuttle service to take you to and from the pool or restaurants with some amazing drivers.
This time the pool service was a bit slow on day one only. Our server was very sweet, but appeared to possibly be his first day. Food at the pool was not as good as before.
2.5
The view was outstanding. Breakfast was tasty. Pillows were comfy.
Our room was not cleaned properly and hot water took too long to turn on. Found dead flys on the counter and items left over from previous guest. Parking was scarce. For the price, I expected more. It was definitely overpriced.
5.0
Perfect to enjoy time with the kids and family. Perfect to enjoy with your couple.
4.5
The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Everyone was kind and genuinely wanted to make the best experience possible for guests. Special shout out to Stacy (bartender), Paul (waitstaff), and Allen (transportation) for going above and beyond as I was a solo traveler. They each remembered (and used) my name, my preferences, and made me feel legitimately looked after.
The property is older, and some portions of it reflect this. The pool outside of building 16 had a lot of loose gravel which was unpleasant to walk over, and the lack of cool decking made it even more uncomfortable. There was plaster missing from some portions of the top of buildings which didn't seem to be a hazard, just unsightly. Also, at the same pool described above, I accidentally found an abandoned birds nest complete with a dead baby bird and unhatched egg - likely abandoned due to a guest touching it. But with more regular cleaning and maintenance of the area, I probably wouldn't have stumbled across this.
The adult pool is kind of basic, and the bar/cantina doesn’t open up until about 2 hrs after the pool does, so the attention to detail for non-families is kind of lacking.
