Appreciated the texts to see if there was any additional thing we needed!
Staff very courteous and friendly!!
Great breakfast, great variety and clean and organized!
Having to pay for parking? Taxes are high enough, should pay for that?

Located primely near medical facilities in downtown Tucson, but also near a Starbucks, Panera Bread, and Metro Light Rail. Ice machine on each floor. Spacious rooms with a decent sized fridge.
Parking was an additional fee each day, which I felt was excessive for a Hampton Inn.

Parking was $10 per day. But the lot’s empty most of the time. As most people part on the street. Some illegally. Oh an if you decide to pay online. Their’s a $5 convenience fee.
Convenience to hospital

For an included hotel breakfast, they have a fabulous selection. Usually well-made scrambled eggs, home fries & some type of breakfast meat. Plus assorted muffins, bagels, waffle-maker, oatmeal & more.
The main thing we don't like, is that all of a sudden they started requiring parking payment. It's about $10/day. We stay here while getting to an appointment at Barrow Neurological Institute, which is a 2-hour drive from our home. The hotel rate itself isn't a bargain, but this parking fee now just adds to the pain.

It suited the purpose, breakfast ladies were outstanding, the rest of the staff were adequate.
This was our second stay this month. The first time, we were charged $25 deposit, OK, typical. Haven't seen the refund. The second stay, we were charged $25 plus $10 for parking. Asked about the first deposit and free parking, the girl said the usual, 7 to 10 business days 3 weeks later, no refund. We expect the same thing this time around.
This will be our last stay at Hampton.
We can get this treatment anywhere.
The pillows stink if you turn the ac off the whole room stinks. The place needs a total deep clean.
It only looked clean.
Hot water never happened, and it was 3am.
I should have turned the water on the night before.

The breakfast had much to offer. The location was great as my husband was in the hospital around the corner.
The carpets were pretty beaten up. Ripples and coming apart at the seams in the hallway and stained in the room. Time to be replaced.

The breakfast was very good, fresh, good coffee and a variety of choices for juices, cereals and breads. The location for midtown Phoenix was perfect because very close was a station of the light rail.the
The pillows were too soft, they did not hold your head up.

The friendly staff, availability of all the amenities, and the room was great.
I didn't like having to pay for parking and breakfast was not good. Also some of the rooms on our floor were being painted and the fumes were very strong
We had to open the window in our room to get rid of the smell.
7.0 / 10.0
Free WiFi, free breakfast with a decent selection
The shower in the room didn't drain properly causing water to build up while you were taking a shower.

Closest hotel to Barrow Brain Institute. Safe and secure property.
Price was horribly unreasonable for this class of hotel. Then they add $10 a night parking on top of that. Rooms are getting "old" and need a refresh. Vent in bathroom on side wall was "discusting" and right next to shower head. Crud and dust literally dripping out of the rusted vent box. Unacceptable conditions for any hotel, let alone a $300 a night hotel.

Breakfast was good, above average for the included types with motel rooms. Pillows were comfy, bed was comfortable too. Hotel staff was friendly & helpful. Responsive to needs of the moment quickly. Location was perfect for our needs of the moment. Exactly next to the Barrow Institute.
Should be proactive for keeping cups for a.m. coffee/tea stocked. Each morning when arriving for breakfast, they were gone & we had to ask for restocking. It immediately was done, but we shouldn't have to ask in the morning, when everyone is going for their morning caffeine lift! Also the parking fee, although guess that wasn't too bad since it was downtown Phoenix, where I believe that's typical.
8.0 / 10.0
located close to the activities we planned
the comforter on the bed was too warm
