Pool , cleanliness and staff were wonderful

It was a great visit

The room was beautiful, very pleased with the space and comfort.

We paid for a pool view room and it was blocked by the palm trees. Our room was also not cleaned downstairs. The couch was folded out upon arrival and we found a bag of stuffed animals appeared to be left by the prior guests. The housekeepers were very rushing when we were checking out to our room, however we saw many others leave prior and no one was entering their rooms. We felt rushed which in turn caused items left behind and late to check out

I loved the location. Perfect to walk downtown to shop and eat, yet once in the resort, it was quiet and veey private.

The outside bartender was slightly unwelcoming and short at times. Other staff was helpful and very nice.

Nice, but rooms were tiny compared to what is represented in pictures. No elevator. Expensive.

Location was great.

They advertise a 5% military discount to be applied when checking in. Clerks refused to accommodate. Great way to treat those who have fearlessly served our country!

Nice resort in a great location

Nice pool, friendly staff and a good location. The property is well maintained and everything worked. Walking distance to everywhere, but not too close to the bustle of the Duval Street. Three bathrooms in a two br suite was very useful, especially when travelling with kids. The afternoon muffins was a fun bonus.

Daily cleaning could be better, e.g. cleaning the kitchen floor also. Bedrooms are a bit too small, no room for luggages. Some parts of the suite (e.g. kitchen) was a bit worn out. Washing machine was a bit dirty inside.

The Reception staff was very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Also the Pool Bar attendant went out of her way to ensure everyone at the pool was taken care of.

One Family of seven grabbed 7 poolside lounges every day at 8 AM and kept them all day until 5 PM for three days straight. They would take turns rotating members of their party to ensure they didn't lose any of the 7 chairs. Should impose a rule that they need to be in their chairs the entire time and if they leave, give up the chair.

Wonderful hidden gem in Key West. We will be back!

Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The suite was ready early so the let us check in early. The room was clean and well stocked with everything we could need. Loved the frozen Dove bars, chocolates in the evening and muffins in the morning.

Small pool area and several kids in both pools. I think one should be adults only to avoid the splashing or getting hit with items the are throwing to each other.

Perfect gem in Key West

The staff is super nice, the muffins, the ice creams, the environment with the tropical plants. Overall the entire atmosphere. Close from the beach and Duval street but quiet.

The music at the pool. The living room can be a little bit dark due to the vegetation but to be honest you have the balcony and the place is amazing

Absolutely the best way to enjoy southernmost point with family!

Close to everything. Quiet area perfect for families. Its not a large property so everything felt personal and not like a number at some of the bigger resorts. Staff was friendly and helpful. we had a teen, preteen and 8 year-old and this was close enough to Duval street without being in the craziness at night - IYKYK. Absolutely would book here again without hesitation!

Bedframe corners were hard and perfect shin height.

Got a bad bedroom, could not move to a different room

Rooms are decorated nicely

Unfortunately, I got a bad bedroom. Coming from New York, I wanted to rest. Mind you, I had to sleep with earplugs while in this hotel. The reason is that the fan was doing a repeated ticking noise that would keep me awake. Turning it off, the room would be too hot. No instructions of controlling the temperature were given. We asked for late checkout and only 1 PM was given because hotel was packed - so obviously, they wouldn't offer us a different room to fix the issue with the fan. I did not expect to have to sleep with earplugs, but I'm glad I travelled with them.

Beautiful spacious suites to pamper yourself in!

The room was gorgeous, loved having a full kitchen (even though honestly we didn't really use it this time), and just the space of 2 BR/2BATH was great! Beautifully updated and decorated. The welcome ice cream and muffins and water were much appreciated, and a nice touch. Reception staff member Matilda was amazing, she went above and beyond in advising us about best excursions and even booking them for us! She is incredibly charming and helpful! Small grocery store and Cuban cafe (cafecito!) right across the street was very handy!

I was surprised and disturbed to not have a security latch on the inside of the door to prevent entry when we are inside the room, as this is (and should be) standard procedure for most hotels. And just for general security of guests, an indoor latch/barrier to entry should always be present. Our hotel bedrooms were adjacent to a pretty loud bar across the street, but that's not Santa Maria's fault, just something to be aware of. Location was relatively close to Duval street, restaurants, etc. but was on the other side of town from boating type excursions, at least for us.

Large spacious suite on Southernmost Point

Rooms were well appointed and spacious. Had all the facilities you need.

Special requests weren’t there when we arrived, had to ask which spoiled the first impression. Housekeeping was really late, 5pm. Towels were tiny in the bathroom and my pet peeve (especially in the US) is 1-ply toilet roll.

Truly amazing, fantastic location and the tropical setting by the pool was perfect for relaxing and just taking the minu

The location was out of the way from the main hustle of ducal, the staff was amazing from check in to check out. Also, the cleaning staff was spot on and very attentive, this gets 10 stars from our family.

parking was tight, but if you can rent a cart you’re golden. Otherwise there is nothing negative to say about our stay at the Santa Maria Suites
