Great location and ambiance. Great historical place. The observation deck is a nice treat.
Don't really like the lack of self-service. It didn't have a refrigerator or microwave in the room.

Great historic hotel with a super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location and great bar with fantastic and affordable happy hour. The breakfast restaurant (independently run) also great. Lots of character -- including a great view from the 30th floor observation deck.a
A little down at heel. Room was cold and turning up thermostat didn't help. Bedclothes were skimpy. My room phone didn't work & was never fixed. Bedside lights flickered. Still prefer to typical soul sucking business hotel.

Charming historic elegance
Tight quarters next to the ice machine and loud elevator

We loved our stay! Such a cute and comfy room. The hotel was quiet and so full of charm. We will definitely stay again.

The room wasn't huge, but it was comfortably designed. The bathroom is nice, with a large and pleasant shower. The location is convenient, and was perfect for my meetings in the IDS.
They charged me for internet, despite being a rewards member. (And also, who charges for internet. That's so 2000.) The whole hotel is a little past its best-buy date. It needs a refresh.

The bed was comfortable. The original location of my suite gave me a panic attack and so the front desk moved me yet when they downgraded the room, they didn’t tell me they couldn’t lower the price of the room. Later they said booking.com would have to do that. I discovered this was not easy yo change on my own at all and now the hotel hasn’t responded to Booking.com about the change.
Communication about what the hotel would do regarding the room change vs what Booking would do. I don’t even understand how this all works because the charge on my statement is from the hotel so why couldn’t they change the price?

The location was great.
The bathroom door got stuck several times and there was hair on the walls of the bathroom, not what I was expecting for a “nicer” hotel. They also wound up charging me a $658 deposit which is going to take another week to clear off of my account. They acted like because it was going to clear eventually that it was no big deal that I was out a large amount of money for my trip. Absolutely ridiculous.

I loved the location! Right downtown and easy access to everything! We were on the top floor with a suite and it was very nice and cool!
I know it’s an old building so there is nothing you can do, but the water pressure is not great. We also realized that some of the unique light fixtures struggled. The light fixture next to the couch was missed two of the light covers and look tacky because of it. The light fixture in the little dinner room space constantly flickered if you tried to dim it. Also, there is a bar/club on the main floor in the lobby. I love a good bar/club, but when we came back from dinner it was so loud and there was a drunk gal passed out on a couch in the lobby. Just wasn’t the refined space I was expecting.

Loud elevators and noise

Location and the history of the building.
Great bar and observation floor to see the city.
Nothing really apart from the bin in room had not been emptied. Small thing really.

Very unique and modern! I definitely liked the decor.
Room was a little small but not a big deal because I was traveling alone and was there for a short stay.

The historic building, and the lovely view. The room was very comfortable.
I didn't expect the disco lounge (late night) in the lobby area, but it was not audible in the room.

It has the perfect location
The room wasn’t all the way cleaned, no staff was very helpful when the keys weren’t working for 3 different guests upon arrival.. when i went to ask for assistance the two staff at the desk were physically cuddling in front of me and had an attitude like i interrupted them !

The inside was beautiful. We loved the top floor where we could go outside and see the view of the city. The room was beautiful think we had a side corner room with a view of the city, loved that very nice. The bed was very comfortable.
The staff was not friendly, Staff was not very helpful when we asked for help or for directions when we had issues with how to get to the parking garage from the hotel we would have to walk the ramps in the the garage which was actually really dangerous if a car was to be coming down when we asked the staff was there an easier safer way no one could answer or would even try to help us. House keeping walked in our room not once but twice my husband was completely undressed and was walked in on and I was using the bathroom. Another time we were sleeping and they walked in no knock no introducing of themselves or nothing.

Only in for a quick stay. Wasn't evident that there are any restaurants. Might have been but not clear. left with no breakfast.

The property was very clean and the housekeeping service provided water bottles which was very nice after a Friday night out. The observation deck was amazing and there’s even a little speakeasy on the 27th floor I believe!
Loved it!

The lobby area where the bar and sitting room was ( with the fire place) was absolutely beautiful! The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was centrally located and the environment felt safe. There were lots of restaurants nearby. Our only regret was not having enough time to spend at the hotel!
Although the rooms were clean and comfortable, the set up of the furniture could have been a little more practical/ rearranged.

The comforter had drops of blood from a previous guest.
