Loved the original woodwork and tiles and overall feel of hotel.
Some of vents in ceiling needed to be cleaned and beds were not very comfortable.
4.3
A comfortable bed, friendly people and great location
Continu loud noise in the room from the water or airco.
Only cleaned the room ones during 5 days. The room at thé street was very loudy and the Alamo view was not very nice.

Perfect place in the heart of San Antonio. Very nice staff.
The complementary breakfast was very good.
Only 1 elevator is functioning but it was OK.
4.3
Staff and location top notch. Little disappointed in lack of soap and shampoo in bathroom. Very clean older building with great access to the Alamo and Riverwalk.
4.3
The staff was fantastic, and the location cannot be beat!
Our only downside was that the beds were not the most comfortable.
4.3
Very nice motel. Next to Alamo. Room though small was furnished nicely.
Valet parking is $40/day + tips.

The history of the building is phenomenal and was not destroyed to make it what it is today
There was nothing to dislike

The breakfast was really nice, a lot of choices and staff was friendly. The receptionist was friendly and met the needs of adding a guest.
The room was warm, but the 7th floor is hard to cool in 105 degree weather.

I loved the updates in the rooms, overall aesthetically pleasing. Convenient location to many attractions, Friendly & knowledgeable staff, & breakfast was delicious.

It was so beautiful. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. And the area for breakfast was really cool, great food. The receptionist was also nice she recommended really nice activities for us to do. Right across the Alamo was definitely cool too.
The bathroom fan did not work, but i did not mention anything to the front desk.

downtown location. valet a bit expensive, $40 a day.
reserved our room 3 weeks in advance. room given was in the 8th floor, opened the door n hit the bed. we were given another room on the 4th floor, had no dresser or chest of drawers to put ur clothes in, lived out of our suitcase for time there. ice machine not working had to go up to 6th floor to get.
we were told by staff the hotel was booked solid so didn’t have another room. we reserved 3-4 weeks ahead of time seems our room should have been reserved for us. $600 for 2 nights plus the valet charge of $80 n our room was not what we reserved!!!!

Nice variety was offered that would please anyone.
I enjoy fruit and the bananas were overly ripe. They weren’t replaced but put out again every day. I finally had to request fresh bananas

The hotel is a historic office building that has been renovated and is conveniently located across from the Alamo. The valet parking is great, and check-in was easy. The hotel staff were all friendly and the bed was comfortable. Even though we didn't eat breakfast (we don't eat in the morning), it smelled delicious with many options.
There weren't enough places in the bathroom for towels (nothing by the shower). The interior of the hotel does not look like the photos online, especially the dining and bar area.

Morning breakfast, location to everything including parking, friendly staff, wonderful room!!!

The quaint, cozy, friendly atmosphere was fantastic. It is clean and in a perfect location for a historical building. What a gem.
The bar will be much better with a spirit license. The attendant was great but his options are too limited.

Room very large. very quiet. Housekeeping expecially MAria offered oustanding services. Perfect location for sigthseeing. River walk a few step away from the hotel.
Breakfast. Should try to vary a little. ex one day Fried eggs instead every day scumbled eggs.
my room toilet was loose. it s an hazard for anyone who need to sit down to do his/her business. Room 502

Off of the Riverwalk so many homeless people on the route to the hotel.

The staff are very nice and the best free breakfast buffet.

Decent breakfast, team were very helpful with tips and service. The room is not that bing, but if you're not staying there the whole day, it's ok. The best is definetly the location: it's sooo close of Alamo, Downtown and Riverwalk.
