Bathroom sick hardly had running water, they did not clean our room , toilet was a mess .we literally used two towels from when we checked in to when we checked out

Location was close to bars and hang out spots!

Gave us the wrong room and we nearly walked in on the poor guy. He was a bit startled us giggling on the door.

Despite the friendly staff, we will never stay here again. Dirty, musty, and gross. Nothing like what is shown in pics.

The staff was VERY friendly and tried to help with issues, most were beyond their control.

The rooms smelled moldy and musty, clothes and bedding was constantly damp the duration of our stay. Our first room smelled HORRIBLY of mold, and the toilet didn’t work. When asking for a new room we ran in to others with the same issue wanting to leave for another hotel. They did get us a different room, but it was dirty, spots and what I hope was dirt stains all over the bathroom floor. I set a towel down to step on coming out of the shower and it turned brown as soon as it got wet. Floor was FILTHY. Second room was still was musty and damp, but we couldn’t find another open room in a nearby hotel.

Would probably stay here again.

Good location. Decent price. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful.

No breakfast food was available 30 minutes before the posted closing time. My car was broken into in the back parking lot. Needs better lighting. Short staffed. Construction right out front.

I left the next morning for a new hotel.

When I checked in, the police were there investigating an assault against a child and other disorderly conduct. The halls smelled flagrantly of pot.

Although the accommodations could have been better the service was excellent!

I love the staff, Nataly, Victor and 2 other Saturday morning staff members went above and beyond to be of service. I would rate them 10/10!

The room was a bit dated, the door was hard to open and close, when running water in the sink there was a sewer odor and the bathroom was extremely small. I know that’s not an easy fix.

Location and the customer service was awesome. The best part of the stay was how the desk clerks assisted and were friendly.

The breakfast needs to go back to how it was. The not cleaning the rooms daily was awful. The air is not turned on , on the floors, so it was hot and humid which gave the hallway a bad smell.

I was glad to have a place in the area.

Staff - gym on my floor - shower/bathroom - massive construction.

Breakfast - No eggs mostly carbs. Saw a large critter in food room late evening. Took a couple pictures. Parking was limited - Massive street construction in front.

Property needs to be completely gutted or torn down. Use the location for a good hotel.

The location was central. The staff was friendly.

The rooms, the patio, the carpets, the bathrooms, the water, the breakfast. The fact that I paid more for the room in our block than the one I booked online. The sketchy people staying at the property. The smell of weed everywhere. The mold around the windows. The noisy AC units. The fact that there was no remote for the TV.

The location is ideal. It's near the Plaza and several museums and Westport. So plenty of dining-out options. The front desk staff were super helpful and professional

My I.D. was not asked for when I checked in. The bagel breakfast was lacking. Not enough, food was available, for what little is offered. It felt like I was staying in a college dorm instead of a hotel. The back parking is a bit scary, mainly at night, since there is no security.

the front doors were locked from 10p to 10a, felt secure, free parking. The staff was friendly.

The bed was not comfortable and noisy when we moved around. It looked like the inside of the toilet bowl was painted in an attempt to make it look newer. Our room had a major lump in the floor under the carpet. The entire property could use a major redo.

Close to some bars

The room smelled like there was mold in it. Every time we walked back into the room, the smell hit you again. The beds were rock hard, and the water in the bathroom was only one temperature - surface of the sun hot. There was also an air purifier in the room when we checked in, which made us feel like it wasn’t clean. The breakfast was very lackluster, only offering bagels, toast, yogurt, mini cinnamon rolls, and juice/coffee. For the same price as other chain hotels, I would stay away from this property and spend your money elsewhere.

Cramped, poor excuse for breakfast. don’t stay here

convenient to UMKC campus.

Room was very cramped. difficult to get out of one side of the bed because was 8 inches from the wall. Breakfast was horrible - toast/bagels And cereal were the options. no cream cheese. what a joke! grout missing on tile floor in bathroom. shower was difficult to turn on and off and didn’t heat up well. would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.

Welcoming location in the heart of fun KC.

Great staff and free parking close to Westport /Downtown KC. - found a local coffee spot called Oddly that had fantastic Lattes

We were disappointed with the breakfast, and the room was not great but the location worked out well

Location was good - close to the Plaza and UMKC campus . Parking was great - close to hotel. Staff was very pleasant.

Older hotel - not in great condition - was not expecting that. The breakfast was not much to speak of - would have liked pastries and fresh fruit and peanut butter for the bagels.

Miserable due to location/loud noises half the night!

Price was good, room was clean

There was extremely extremely loud music booming not our room, 301 from outside from midnight to 4am, the clerk said it only stopped after a gunshot went off. It was apparatus coming from several cars in the quick trip parking lot right next door. The clerk looked into it but couldn’t do anything. A miserable night. Not a great location apparently.

The night person at the desk, Corey, was most helpful and very friendly. When we had a problem with the tv, he tried to fix it and our room was changed the next morning to take care of the situation
