Outside atmosphere was nice and relaxing
Wasn't given much information about any activities, or location of the pool and ice machine. A/C in the room did not work very well. Ants were found in the bathroom

We love the location and amenities!
One of the outside pools was closed but we were able to drive to the others. Wish they would open the restaurant back up!

Room was clean and comfortable.
No restaurant or bar on the property or in the main lodge.

I just wish the bar at the hotel was open so we could have got food there instead of going out

TV did not work and I was not offered a replacement or another room. I was told that’s just how it is. Received a rude voice message due to the employee not checking her voicemails or asking the situation before hand. Exercise room is never accessible unless you find an employee to open the door for you. The bathtub is dirty (not sure if this is permanent stains or not).

Employees were nice and check-in & check-out were easy. Brandon was super helpful as a concierge.
A lot of the activities and food places are still closed for no reason. Bathroom had hair stuck to the walls and tub from the previous guests. Despite there being vacant cabins with better scenery and locations, we were given a basic cabin with difficult parking next to lots of traffic.

there are so many activities to do.

the cabins were so cute! the lodge had a pool and an arcade which was so fun!
I think the staff should show you where your cabin is if you prefer/when it’s dark and rainy out since you have to drive from the lodge to the cabin. we had to ask for directions twice.

Beautiful location, nice cabins, easy to get too.
Clean and comfortable - a nice get away.
I booked this property about 3 months ahead of time. I put on the booking and also called the property and told them I needed a handicap access unit. They said they would note it. The day we were due to check in , they called to advise there was no handicap access unit. The best they could do was 5 steps into the cabin. They did not even bother to look at our request until the day of check in. My husband has Parkinson’s and is a Korean War Navy vet. He deserves more consideration than this. Of all the cabins there, only 1 is apparently a handicap unit. Several have flat entrances - we were not even afforded 1 of these. The cabins were apparently recently remodeled. No grab bars in bathrooms, no handicap showers, no additional access ramps apparently were installed. This is a culture issue from top management down. Why should a safe experience at Bluegreen Vacations be denied handicap individuals? The front desk was more than happy to offer us $175 plus a free week to sit through their promotional talk - why would I even be interested if we can’t easily get into a cabin? The CEO and top management might want to take a look at what the company truly values. Perhaps one day they themselves or one of their loved ones wants to stay at Shenandoah Crossing - but simply can’t even safely get into a cabin. I would like to hear directly and personally from someone in top management re our comments and concerns. Carole Wallace

Lodge located on very attractive campus in rural setting with horses in the adjacent pasture
Spacious and well/equipped exercise room
Pool/spa/fire pit/game room areas very welcoming
Our bed was excellent, ie. firm, thick mattress
Queen room less spacious than similarly priced national hotels we have patronized
Bathroom basin and tub/shower ordinary compared with property common areas

The area is so beautiful. The ground are accommodating for adults and children. Indoor and outdoor activities.
Everything. The lake, trails, pools, general store, the staff, the view of the mountains, etc.

Our time there was very short lived but the staff was very friendly
There was blood on the bed sheets. The room smelled like mildew. We were thoroughly disgusted and decided not to stay
