Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and staff were nice and very easy to communicate with
No shelf for soap/razor and hair wash in the shower, had to put things on the ground

The location was great. Close to many restaurants and retail shops.
No extra pet fees :)
Comfortable room.
Curtain did not close completely.
TV did not work. There were many streaming services shown on screen, though I could not access any.. even the one that said free. I had a short stay, so did not call staff to fix.
The pool was very dirty. Even if I was not going to go in the pool, I wanted to read by it. But the look of it was just too bad to stay out there. Too bad because the weather was nice that day.

Love the old brick building and how id been repurposed as a hotel.
I didn’t like the cancellation policy. A room was accidentally booked and even though I immediately called to cancel, no one would help me take care of this very simple cc void. B
90% chance I’ll never use Booking.com again

Nothing!
I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Aloft Dallas booked through booking.com, and I feel compelled to share my disappointments to save others from enduring a similar ordeal. My stay at this hotel was nothing short of a disaster, and I am left utterly dissatisfied with their services.
First and foremost, the hotel's design, including the room layout, was simply abysmal. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with an overwhelming sense of distaste. The overall aesthetics were incredibly outdated and lacked any semblance of taste. It was clear that no thought had been given to creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for guests. The room design mirrored this sentiment, with a haphazard arrangement and an overall lack of attention to detail. I was truly taken aback by the lackluster ambiance.
To compound my frustration, despite specifically selecting the "breakfast included" option during my reservation on booking.com, the hotel shockingly refused to honor this agreement upon my arrival. Their explanation, which pointed fingers at booking.com being a third party, was both nonsensical and completely unacceptable. This betrayal of trust left a bitter taste in my mouth and ruined what should have been a basic expectation for any hotel stay. It was truly the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered.
As a customer, I rely on transparent and accurate information provided during the booking process. The hotel's failure to deliver on their commitment is not only a breach of trust but also a blatant disregard for their guests' expectations. Such unprofessional behavior is simply inexcusable and undermines the credibility of both the hotel and the booking platform.
I strongly urge anyone considering a stay at Aloft Dallas to think twice and explore alternative options. It is evident that the hotel management lacks a basic understanding of customer service and fails to uphold their end of the bargain.

The aesthetic was fun. And the staff, well the manager was helpful.
There was little to like. Our refrigerator didn’t work, although they replaced it. But couldn’t keep what we needed cold. The elevators didn’t work, and there wasn’t a working ice machine on our floor so it easily took 25 mins just to get to the lobby for ice. We were staying there for a concert nearby. There was a parade that had all of the adjoining streets blocked off. So my friend had to park a mile away in order to get to the property. Parking, which is outside in an unprotected lot is $16 overnight. No valet, or anyone to help you with your bags.

I enjoyed the cleanliness and anesthetics
It's trivial, but I thought it was inconvenient that the room did not have a microwave inside.

Didn’t expect to have to pay 16 for parking, otherwise it was awesome!
Not paying 16 for parking at the hotel.

Staff was wonderful!
The staff was kind enough to upgrade our room since it was our wedding night. HOWEVER, it was so hot that we couldn’t sleep and there was a loud ringing noise that was coming from the HVAC system all night. We were too exhausted to even go downstairs and complain. Extremely uncomfortable for us bc of the heat. I am confident we used the thermostat correctly. Air that was blowing out was tepid.

Everything! The room looked just like the pictures posted. Wasn't expecting such a nice room at the price I paid.. very affordable.
The only complaint I have is something the hotel can't manage was the paid parking parking lot next to it. My stay was on a Saturday night. So, there was some heathens in the parking lot making a lot of "racket" and probably twerking. The reason I say that is because I could hear "Aye" over and over. I'm just being funny about that, but that was the only complaint. I enjoyed it tho.

Breakfast was amazing! The room was super quiet. Staff interactions were friendly. The pool was nice for a quick dip. We loved having the top floor to look out the window at the buildings.
The area is convenient but would not feel safe walking alone at night. The pool was small but not a lot of people were there so it still worked out. The pool could be a little cleaner.
