im not sure who made the mistake about my last name if its booking.com website or the residence inn staff,my last name is Barot and not Johnbarot, i have 2 first names or shall i call it John is my 2nd name, i would suggest for breakfast to have a bacon during continental meal but overall our stay was good, my son loves it and wanted us to stay at the residence inn for his birthday 😁

great view from our suite. Nice pool.
one of 2 elevators out of service leading to LONG waits to go to and from room. no fruit at breakfast. WAY overpriced.

Very good breakfast provided. Bed very comfortable. Enjoyed the convenience of refrigerator and microwave. Very good FREE internet. No need to upgrade
Awkward getting to the entrance, on the other side of the waterway from the main downtown area where all the restaurants are located. Hallways and floor areas around the elevator dirty. I feel this property was over priced, having stayed at many Residence Inn's across the country, Boston, NYC, etc. Missing amenities like hand lotion, waste basket in bathroom, etc. Parking fees were additional and high for the middle of nowhere.

The location of the hotel is awesome. it’s more isolated away from the noise of the city. Our suite felt like home away from home.
The only thing that would improve the property is a restaurant, for food any time of day. The breakfast was top notch

I booked an overnight stay and asked for a late check-in because my plane got into LAX at midnight, and I wouldn’t get to Long Beach for an hour after that. Come to find out the hotel clerk booked me on the day before. By the time I arrived I was charged as a no show and had to PAY FOR THE SAME ROOM TWICE as I had nowhere to go. Residents Inn would not refund my money or simply push the reservation they blamed booking.com and booking.com blamed Residents Inn. in short a mistake on the part of Residence Inn cost me over $200.
The unfeeling nature of everybody I spoke to about my issue. I’m basically out of luck.

the breakfast was ok, pretty standard for LA but disappointing for a Marriott hotel.
it was removed from Long beach and once it was dark it did not feel like a safe place to venture out at night.

Had to pay for parking.
