Wonderful stay for exploring New Jersey, Somerset

We enjoyed our stay at the Rate Residence Inn by Marriott Somerset. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. There was a lot of storage space in the room and also a kitchen with a fridge and microwave. Staff was very friendly and helpful when we wanted to change our room. It was very quiet.

Breakfast options could be better including more fresh fruits and real cutlery and plates. There was only plastic cutlery.

Best hotel I've experienced

Very friendly atmosphere, smelled extremely clean, and my room was cozy and comfy

That I accidentally broke a drinking glass and I expected a little more options from breakfast.

One particular older woman at the front desk insulated me . I called and ask her for another white down comforter since there were none in the closet; her answer to me was’’ you gonna have to go back home and bring one’ I thought that was very unprofessional.

It was a nice stay. Hotel was clean and staff was nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was spacious enough for my family of 5. Pool was decent size and breakfast there was nice. They had a nice little selection. Loved the waffle maker that was a big hit for my kids.

Pool was cold wish it was heated and there was no towels in the pool room but overall the stay was wonderful. Would def stay there again.
