I think the breakfast set-up was nice and suitable for the hotel stay cost. The maintenance man was by far the most friendly person although I did not see him but a couple of times. His demeanor made me feel like he was glad we were guest at his location. I also, liked the idea of the staffing remembering the name of their guests. I like the idea of a common area to meet up with other hotel patrons but provide some since of privacy from windows when your are there with your belongings exposed. The manager was nice just need to understand ADA accommodations usage
The pet policy that welcomed service animals but upon arrival the guest was forced to disclose the type of support the state certified animal provides, my daughter and family upon their arrival were forced to disclosed her medical condition and need for the service animal and initially denied the stay for the animal & leaving them without accommodations for lodging so I asked what is a resolution that we can reach because they are here with nowhere to lodge. So I asked the manager to charge the additional daily pet deposit of $20 a day to my card on file just so they can hotel accommodations, that was horrible & humiliating for us and shamed my daughter about her medical condition, I do not believe she will return there but I am willing to because I believe in at least trying to move forward based on the pros & cons of the experiences.
I do know the property is older & that's ok, just get some good old fashion comet & power washer and clean those bathtubs, to get where the floor mats were. Also have a regular bi/monthly schedule to shampoo all carpet areas.
Have a tv set-up so guess(mature) can watch their Roku not forced to have a paid account to watch movies.
I would have felt better about leaving/retuning to the property especially at night if there was adequate secure secured guest fencing. I travel work & nightshift, I want to feel safe lighting. The in the common area where the dinning/TV is provide the nice remote shaded drapes when the sun is up in the Texas 3 digit heat & at night have the private screens which the guest can see out but no one can see them. The customer service on the day shift was very nice and pleasant, the hotel room attendants were excellent and friendly & helpful but the evening front desk person seemed as if they were just there trying to get through the shift, she barely was acknowledging if the guest were in the same room or waited until the guest asked for help.

The night we stayed, the power went out . Fortunately, the staff was really nice and helped us find a place to sleep. I am really grateful for that. Next time we go to Austin, we know where to stay.

They blessed me and upgraded my room to a Suite because my original request to have a room close to the rest of my family staying in other rooms was not done so they corrected that and upgraded. Awesome Customer Service! :-)

It is convenient to our daughter's place
The breakfast of the first day was lacking. The only not meat option was cereal and pastries which don't have much protein and since it was the beginning of Lent, it was lacking.

Nothing
This was my second time TRYING to stay at this location. My wife had surgery the day after we arrived. I forgot my DL where we live 1 hr 30 min away. At check in and TRIED working this out with the Front Desk Employee. When I came back with my wife who was in the car the employee acted like he had no clue who I was. When I told him to catch up he threatened to have me removed from the Hotel. We left, told him to cancel the reservation. When booking.com got involved he refused to refund my money and refused to work with them and my wife to get the reservation sorted out. Its been 3 days and no refund of $226 has been issued to me. I held up my ens of the deal, Fairfield staff did not.

They didn't have no 🔥🔥🔥 breakfast 🥞🥞🥞. And the swimming pool not working.

Outside clean, Inside clean, room clean and all amenities provided.
Front staff was not very friendly. Seemed very stressed out all the time even though there was not a huge amount of customers physically to deal with. Pool did not work ☹️, middle of hot summer.
Went for breakfast around 8:30. Nothing left but juice, coffee, cereal and oatmeal. Coffee was good, juice was good. Expected more than that. I could have gone to HEB for a better variety. I don’t like paying for something I don’t receive.
