It's a cool place specially for FSI students in the heart of Rosslyn

Ideal location safe area good rates

Great location we enjoy staying here every time we visit our grandchildren. It’s close to Union Station and allows us to visit with very good rates

Trip with family to visit the Capitol and the museums. Perfect hotel near a Metro station.

Room lovely and newly renovated. Breakfast was excellent. Coffee delicious. Location excellent with Metro close by. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Even a Target right across the street.

Perhaps some brighter lighting. and a nightlight.

Good stay, but big problems with billing.

Everything was Ok except I paid in advance on Booking.com, and when I got home, I noticed that I was charged again by the hotel. Since the bill was over $900, I wanted a refund as quickly as possible. I called the hotel, and they acknowledged the error and said they would take care of it. A week later, no refund had been made. They said it could take up to 7 business days. I called again a few days later, and left a message and no one returned my call. After a second attempt, I completed the on-line survey from Marriott expressing my concerns. Within 1 day I received a call from corporate, and received the refund a day later. So I'm happy with Marriott, but they have a problem at this particular property.

Overall enjoyable and comfortable stay

Nice room with useful kitchen facilities. Large fridge to keep our drinks and snacks cool and fresh. Sufficient space for the family. Breakfast was nice.

1st day had to request extra bed linen for sofa bed but this was brought promptly so no complaints.

The location was good, the staff was friendly, breakfast was ok, but the rest was below standard.

The bed was way to small. My wife and I were very uncomfortable on a twin bed with lousy pillows. She actually got up in the middle of the night and moved to the couch for more room. I would expect more from a Marriot. The bed right out sucked. We needed either two queens or a king, nothing less.

Embarrasing that you wont do a roomcleaning for guests staying 4 days or less. Staff seemed unattentive, looking at their phones, bot being interested in yout guests as well. There was a very sweet new lady at the service desk who greeted us the first day, and an impolite lady, a bit older with glasses i think, next to her, who wasnt friendly at all

The front desk staff were very understanding and tried their best to help us.

Some guests on our floor smoke weeds. We had to move our room at 1am after trying to tolerate a few days. Our room, floor and elevators were all stinky! Since this hotel claims as a non-smoking hotel, they should honor that.

The location was excellent for us, because we have family in Rosslyn and we could walk to meet them very easily. The room was very comfortable.

The breakfast was better than many places but we ate out instead.

Loved it--one or two professional, outgoing, helpful, friendly employees make all the difference!

Breakfast: YAY for breakfast -- good coffee --friendly staff. Eating outside surrounded by trees and listening to birds was a perfect way to start the day. Location: Perfect -- close to Metro -- lots of public art, close to useful stores such as Target and Safeway Rooms: Large, kitchen so welcome, everything fine, bed comfortable. One on-line review mentioned that the decor is aged; that is correct--but that will not stop me from returning.

I wish for the following for breakfast: Vegetarian "meats," a wider variety of fruit--more than one cut choice per day, healthier cereal (bran?), always having real milk available fircoffee, more variety in main dishes--the first four days of my stay were repetitious--really excellent choices on Monday, June 13 Also, I was bothered to see people eating in the breakfast area using disposable plates, utensils, and cups instead of using "real" utensils, plates, and cups; given our environmental crisis, perhaps posted signs could urge guests to use disposable items only if leaving the breakfast room. I know this increases the cost of dishwashing but it is the responsible thing to do. Staff: everyone was helpful -- I did ask for two wakeup calls as backup for my alarms, and they did not come. No real problem . . . the weekend staff was not as "warm" and "outgoing" as others --nothing wrong, but others made one happy to be there If all corridors and elevators could be vacuumed every day, that would create a better impression--public areas probably more than once a day. Too many people are careless and do not clean up their own trash. I hope that when remodeling takes place that hardwood / vinyl-wood floors will be used; i trust the cleanliness of those more than of carpet. There is nothing I DIDN"T LIKE--this is what I would change if i were in charge.

Container for soap in the shower was empty. Maid did not clean the room. We went in the morning, when we returned at night the bed was not made and we did not have fresh towels.
