Such a cute place, with a little more decor it would really be sweet!
Mattress was a bit used. Breakfast was typical continental.

The room overlooking the courtyard was charming and cozy. The breakfast was wonderful, especially the pastries.

Excellent location. Plenty of space. Responsive and kind staff. Bedding was warm and had extra blankets, thank you!. We would stay again.
Pillows could use an upgrade.

Location
Floor not clean, shelf in fridge broken, patio very disappointing, no dog area

Location was great. Toma restaurant around the corner from the hotel was very good, reasonably priced and so convenient!
The hotel needs air conditioning for days like our stay.

Location near the ocean
1. I had chosen to pay at the hotel when I booked on Booking.com, however I was charged before my arrival.
2. The booking had breakfast included. When I mentioned that I was eating gluten free, I received an email saying that there was no gluten-free options.
They could have made an effort and arrange a small pastry / muffin, instead of providing a list of bars serving gluten free food in town.
3. Cleanliness is a big issue. See the picture of two floss picks who were in front of my room when I arrived and stayed there until the next day when I checked out.

Friendly reception and staff delivered happy hour welcome drink and snacks to our room as we checked in late. Location is great as walking distance to beach, wharf, shops and restaurants.
Limited gluten-free options

location and staff
not very comfortable, bathroom were too small

nice courtyard right by the unit. Very considerate in the courtyard in terms of the hours.
You could hear others in the morning, especially when the units next door was flushing their toilets. But that's not really a staff problem.

The location is excellent, easy access to beach, walks and pier. The courtyard is excellent, along with the complimentary wine and cheese. Breakfast is okay by American standards.
There is no coffee / tea maker in your room and for the expensive price of the room, there should be.

We especially liked the pastries from Porto’s Bakery!!! And gorgeous setting with beautiful courtyard to enjoy a good cup of coffee with pastries.

Breakfast was good although I wish there was more fresh fruit. There was a bowl of not great looking tiny oranges or clementines.
The only thing I'd note is that the sheets felt kind of stiff.

Propert is close to the shore/beach/wharf and downtown. Many activities to do in the surrounding area which made it simple
Loved the property, the vibe…only thing bad I can say about it was it was a lil outdated but the property did its job

Friendly, clean, well-located hotel.
room was very tiny but clean.

Breakfast was good; Location close to the beach
The room was clean, but very basic, quite hot and facing the street. Also, the matress was so soft that it was unnerving every time one of us moved. We expected more for the price and were a little disappointed - after all this was one of the more expensive hotels on our road trip. Several of the other hotels we stayed at before offered better value for less money.

Breakfast was decent: bagels, Yogurts and cereal options. Good coffee!
The courtyard is great, with a little bonfire lit at night.
On site parking
Nothing. We arrived late and left early next day, so not much else experienced but would likely book again if I'm staying longer next time

Dan was exceptional. He called to verify our time of arrival and provided us with grapes, crackers and cheese.

Beautiful little courtyard with outdoor seating just outside the room. Older place but relatively well-kept (except as noted above). Queen room with refrigerator and microwave. Excellent shower! Comfortable upholstered chair next to the bed. Continental breakfast with delicious pastries, including blueberry muffins that were full of blueberries and not too sweet (how we like 'em!). Staff were very friendly. It was nice having wine and cheese happy hour available daily. Liked the soap/shampoo in the shower. Nice location -- we came/left via train and it was an easy walk from the station to the hotel. Lots of places to get bicycles to rent, lots of restaurants not too far away. Beach is basically across the street. A bit of a walk to the Museum of Art, but we like walking so it was fine. A very nice stay for us and we might stay there again.
Noted the first night to the staff that the phone didn't work in our room but it never got fixed. As we checked out, we repeated this, and that the desk chair was broken, and this other staff member called the maintenance staff right then to get them fixed. Bed could have been a little firmer for us. Would have been nice to have two chairs next to the desk, but not room for this. Could easily sit outside, though. Weather was lovely.
