The cleanliness of the place was horrible, infested with termites. The AC unit is so outdated and kept going off every 10-15 mins because of had insulation. The “beach front” I believe is false advertising because you can’t even swim in that water it’s full of huge rocks and it actually hurts to walk in the water due to the rocks. Also the sliding glass door of our room did not work you have to lift up the door and drag it to open it. Also the restaurant was closed due to construction, noted, they do mention it on their website but you have to look for it under their restaurant tab. They should have it as an announcement on their first page on their website. Also saw some workers cleaning a whole raw pig with an hose right in front of the pool area with all the blood from the pig pooling up in puddles in the parking lot were people could walk through which is just so unsanitary. Overall horrible place to stay.

La habitaciones muy confortable y limpias.
El desayuno muy muy pobre.

The resort was in a convenient location. We utilized the shuttle which was wonderful because parking anywhere near Duval street is not recommended. We enjoyed the pool and the hammocks/ beach chairs next to it as well as right outside our room. Having a refrigerator in the room was good.
It would have been convenient to have a microwave. We could only get ice at the restaurant, but it would have been nice to have access to an ice machine after the restaurant was closed. The bathroom was in need of a little TLC. It was clean, but areas of wear were evident around the tub.

Location and shuttle great. Having scooters right there to rent, great! Pool was super! Girl Claudine at hut very helpful, wish we would have had time for her Kayak low key tour. Colorful decor inside and outside. Waitress in restaurant very good, dinner in the evening one night quite good.
Carpet inside room quite dirty as well as the 2 red chairs-- water not cold for brushing teeth...
Expected something different-- and better for the cost of stay--for breakfast!

I did not like anything. Maybe the hammock. Room is outdated, furniture is cheap, and extremely overpriced.

Location is great. Little beach / hangout area is cool. Pretty much assume you are at a 1950’s campground as far as the ambience and quality of rooms / shower.
Food at Stone Crab was good!
Shower is teeny tiny. Last room upgrades (other than the tv) looked like they happened in 1967.
Hot water was lukewarm at best.
Curtains didn’t block out the parking lot lights, and the trash trucks emptying the dumpsters @ 6am was a rude awakening. Lol
If you set your expectations for a 2 star experience, it’s a cool, quirky, old school motor lodge environment. If you’re used to nicer amenities, you’ll be let down

right outside our sliding door was ibis bay? what else mattered?
it’s right on the ocean!

the property is not what they advertise, the buildings are falling apart, there are termites everywhere and cockroaches in the bed in the towels in the fridge, the door lock on the doesn't work, at night I had to put a chair to hold the door, it's not worth the price they're charging, not even half of that
I didn't like anything, I've been to better places paying half of what they're charging, it's not fair, especially who has small children, they don't deserve to be in a place like this, I did a front beach upgrade because it's supposedly the best and it was worse , and it is not in front beach it is an intercoastal that you cannot swim because the water is dirty and has a smell of sewage

The location, pool was nice and the shuttle to downtown
Very over priced for the accommodations. I understand that’s it’s Key West but expected more for the price. Also Resort Fee?? For what?? We already over paid for the room and to add that! Will not recommend unless no other options.

Nothing ~ Right off the highway ~ not ideal
The doorway into the room it smelled like urine ! Upon entering it smelled like urine and bleach ! The 6"yellow stained Mattress was on moldy plywood base . The bathroom had large holes in the trim . Shower was full of mold as was the window unit A/C for $650 a night ! Low end very gross! Don't relay on the internet photos! This
Place is absolutely sub par ! I wouldn't
Let my dog stay there ! Checked out 15 mins after we checked in and got a load of the motel style room. 🙀

the property is just cool man. it’s different. unique in an awesome way. you have the water which is beautiful but it’s on the bay side not ocean. it’s a drive to central… but it was ok
but it was really different. they had turtles , parrots , hammocks , a pool etc.
def not worth 400 bucks though. those are just the prices down there during season though
the cost, the old lady at the front, the facility fees per person and it says it has a beach kinda felt like that was not really a beach!

It's really good they have a bus that tackes you to the city.
Their pillows and beds are bad. The air conditioner is loud.

Staff was nice. A lot of parking accessible. We may not took it but there is a bus every hour that bring us directly in the city. Room was clean. We appreciate a lot the breakfast included, there were many choice. Many activities were proposed also.
Additional price we had to pay at our arrival of approximatly 25$ US. The room may be a bit small.

This property is easy to find along the main highway into Key West. Facility is far from down town. But, free on-site parking and free hourly shuttle worked great for us. The property is a bit dated but nicely kept. It is nicely situated on a mostly rural looking bay front. There is a variety of rooms. Ours was motel like, very small but clean and functional. Other rooms seem more resort like. Some back to a small beach. Breakfast was good enough. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Staying on Key West is expensive. Given the price we paid relative to others and the fact that Ibis Bay was a nice place we felt like we got a good deal.

The ambience of the back patio by the water was great. Other than that, the room was not in good condition. The sliding door didn’t work well, there was no hot water in the shower, and the bathroom faucet sprayed water all over the place. It was old and nothing special for the price
The room had no coffee maker or space for anything. It was run down and for almost $400 a night I definitely expected more

It was pretty run down. Nothing like the photos that were posted.

The pool was very nice
We found a rat in the backyard, they didn't let us tale the room half an hour erlier, the front desk staff wasn't nice and the breakfast had bread with fongus. Honesty doesn't worth the price at all

The hammocks, the view was ok
Overpriced for the room. They charge you extra for your party because they have stupid capacity per room. Which we never had that in any other hotels. I couldn’t cancel my reservation, because the front desk lady said I booked thru booking.com. I ended up paying over $400 a night. Beware of that, they will charge you extra. Our first room had insects on the beds and the walls flying. I even have pictures. We got our room changed and our second room was ok, beds are uncomfortable, bathroom sink was clogged, and the AC extremely loud. The breakfast was simple, and so basic. No bacon or proteins, or pancakes, nothing extra. Stay away from here and spend your money somewhere else.

The location is perfect , staff at the front desk were awesome .the shuttle service was great .
what bothered me was the beds weren’t comfortable at all and we kept getting bitten by something till the last night our stay the ledge right above are bed was infested by something like aunts but way smaller we had to put on bug spray on ourself and around the bed so we didn’t get bitten again foods at the restaurant was ok the morning breakfast it wasn’t the greatest the bagels on the first day of our being there had molds on them so my kids didn’t touch the bagels the waffles were very stale but unfortunately we had the same problem for the 3 days we stayed there portion of stone crab restaurant way over priced for the food they serve you

The staff was fairly helpful when we had issues, and the pool was super fun. It’s also super nice that they have a bus to take us to the main two tourist spots and back.
The first room we had was disgusting. Concerning stain on the bed, literal dirt and grime on the floor, scratches on everything- it was also an incredibly tiny room considering I paid almost $400 a night after tax. Luckily they had another of the same type of room available and were nice enough to let us change to that room. Also, none of the water sports were available due to weather (not the resort’s fault of course) but for some reason we were still able to pay money online to book these activities, and it was difficult to get our money back. Spent a good bit of the trip stressing over it. The first guy I talked to on the phone was quite rude to me and even accused my fiancé of using fake names (he goes by his middle name, but his legal name was in their system). He was very unsympathetic and acted like we were burdening him with our call. The manager my fiancé talked to later, however, was very kind and helped us with our issue.
