Nothing
Very loud all night. People partying until 3:30am in the hotel entrance area kept us up all night. The sheets and towels were extremely toxic smelling. The balcony was super small. The door to the balcony was not sound proof. Asked for a toothbrush to be brought up to the room and after an hour of waiting I had to run down and get it myself. The pool and jacuzzi were tiny and the jets were weak.

Great location in Ventura. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom fan didn’t work

Carpet old and needed cleaning/shampooing.

Walking distance
Staff was very rude his name was Patrick this man had horrible customer services skills. My friend and I were in the spa after a long day just trying to decompress. Security asked us to leave due to it being past 10pm which we understood and asked if we can get some towels politely. Patrick the staff came back tossed us the towels we said thank you. He said like you guys can’t read a sign.. was extremely rude and walked off. I don’t see the reason in talking to paying costumers like that. I’ve worked in costumers service for years and I would never say that this man really needs help with that and it makes your mission of business look bad and just with that experience I don’t plan on being back.

Location
Loud renovations everywhere. I left a day early because of that and they didn’t give me my money back,

The location was ideal
Property was under construction, with all the windows covered. The hot tub was a murky swamp, and the pool area was very dirty (used bandaids and trash)

A comfortable bed, easy card access and that breakfast, wow. Well done. A special shout out to Gabriel who helped me at the hotel and was a very friendly front desk guy. The others were friendly as well, but Gabriel helped me get settled.
I knew there was construction, but didn't expect the entire hotel wrapped in scaffolding etc. Didn't create any problems with our stay, just was a shock to see when driving up to the hotel.

Big room and clean
Extremely bad breakfast made with the cheapest possible ingredients. Sausages were filler with fat. Scrambled eggs were manufactured from powder.

The breakfast and happy hour was nice.
The hotel was under renovation, which was ok. The problem was that our slider lock was broken. I reported it and no one never came up to repair it. There was scaffolding outside our balcony. Someone could have climbed up and easily entered the room.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.
My room faced the freeway and we could hear ALL the noise! We didn't sleep well. And the shower had mildew.

The breakfast is always good. Also, they added food on Friday until 7 with drinks. That was great! I only stay here when I come. Close to pier and beach. Walking distance to downtown.
There were homeless people in the front offices near front parking. They do not have anyone who can bring towels and blankets. Price is on the high side for being smaller hotel. And there is very little parking.

Schöne Zimmer, sauber
Pool war wegen Bauarbeiten geschlossen und das „Frühstück“ wurde von einer Person ausgegeben. Selbst Kaffee konnte man nicht selber nehmen. Eine ewig lange Schlange morgens.

Location is great. Good access to hotel, citycentre en freeway.

Staff immediately changed our room after there were several issues. Breakfast and snacks in the evening were decent.
Location near freeway therefore it was loud. First room was unclean, air didn’t work and sliding door didn’t close.

Remodel looks great! Breakfast was excellent. Bed was comfortable. Staff has ALWAYS been very friendly and accommodating. Extra pillows were delivered within 10 minutes of asking. Lots of great food within walking distance, Overall, a great place to stay.

The room was very big, Wi-Fi worked well, there was also a large flat screen TV, a mini fridge. It seemed more or less clean. You get what you need for an overnight stay. Breakfast was okay, there was enough food to get full.
The hotel in general feels kinda gritty. Location feels a bit shady too.
It is also just by the train tracks so there is a lot of noise coming from the train, which is a bit annoying during the night.
You cannot really open the windows.
The bathroom was not very clean, there was hair from previous visitors. It had a weird smell. The shower pressure was a bit weak.
Breakfast was bland (with lots of sugary products, not very healthy), and it was served just behind reception with guests walking around while you eat. There also wasn't a lot of seating space.

Bed comfortable and ice machine worked. The overall experience was awful. This hotel is overrated and totally over priced.
Wanted an ocean view but instead overlooked the freeway and train tracks. Extremely noisy all night. Balcony window dirty with bird crap all over window sill. Coffee maker left coffee grinds in coffee, furniture upholstery frayed and leather desk chair torn. Went to lobby to discuss problems and no one there. FYI.....I took pictures but do not know how to upload them from my phone. In the morning, I asked to speak with the Manager and was told he didn't come in until Monday between 11 and 6. I've traveled forty years on business and personal and this was by far the worst experience.

Liked how the beds were very comfortable however the pillows were flat and not enough for three people. The room did not smell hotel as the custom sometimes. The breakfast was very decent with a lot of options and filled our bellies. All in all the place is old but comfort. I would stay again. For the price I wish it was cheaper for the look and 4 star it is not but I figured it was pricey due to C Games
The pillows were flat for my taste. Hurt my neck. The towel’s slightly too small for my heavier side of 200 lbs in my opinion the nightly rate should be 2-250$

Staff was great and very helpful. Good hot breakfast with lots of options. Balcony room on the city side was nice. Good food options nearby.
Balcony room on ocean side is right next to freeway—hot, noisy and minimal ocean view.

Hotel was in a good location and easy to find. Staff helpful.
Had to wait ages to check in because no one was on the desk - just a note to say they would be back soon.

We like this hotel for the most part.
We did not realize until we received our final bill that our daily rate had changed from $179 the first night, to $189 for the second night to $299 for the third night. Our summary from your company did not break down the daily rates. While we of course are responsible for the total, you should have some mechanism to clearly indicate daily rate changes of this magnitude. Really put a dent into this trip, not for the amount we paid but for the negative final bill.

The rooms were comfy and clean.
The overall appearance of the hotel needs to be repaired and painted. Looks very rundown. The staff at the front desk all seems to hate their job. To busy on their cell phones to be bothered with customer service and even to crack a smile.
When we arrIved there was a notice that water would be shut off from 9 am - 6pm! How can they do that an expect guest to pay full price? That should have been mentioned to guest prior to their booking. Totally unacceptable.
The pool and spa lacked in appearance and the hot tub jets were not working properly. The temperature of the hot tub was luke warm.
Overall I would never book this hotel again Or recommend it. The pictures on website are deceiving. I was actually taken back when we first arrived and thought we had arrived atbthe wrong hotel because of the poor outside condition.

Breakfast was of a decent quality. Room was very big and the bed comfortable, room was as expected. His and hers sinks, one in the bathroom and the other just outside, fantastic facilities. Staff excellent couldn’t do enough for you.
Be prepared for a lot of road noise as route 101 is right outside the rear bedrooms no matter what floor you find yourself on. Room was an excellent size with queen size bed so put up with road noise. Be warned take ear defenders for a good nights sleep.
