Overall it was fine.

The staff was kind. Breakfast was hot and my family enjoyed it.

I felt as though while the room was fine, the price was a bit high. The pool was closed for maintenance which is fine, but price should have reflected that lack of amenity.

It's ok

The location was good, breakfast was okay,

Did not have a hot tub, no elevator stairs only, parking is very limited, had to park in the facility next door, pool is only three and a half feet tall.

Decent stay. I’d stay again probably.

Rooms were big. Clean. Hotel was nice.

Pool was ice cold. I was told twice that I’d have rooms near each other only to find out when I checked in they were on opposite sides of the hotel and different floors.

Honestly, just that the hotel was close to everything..

The pool was not working and we weren't notified, if we knew that, we would have made reservations elsewhere. I thought that it also could have been a little cleaner. The parking lot was pretty run down.

Older hotel but a cheap and cheerful stay.

We have stayed here before and appreciate the location (nice and close to downtown area). It is reasonably clean and comfortable for the value. Cheap and cheerful stay! The pool area was perfect for our 6 year old with the whole pool being 3.5 ft deep and we LOVED how warm/heated the pool was. There was a small fitness room with treadmill, bike and elliptical which we made use of (wouldn't have expected one to be there). The staff was friendly. Breakfast ok. Again for the price we really couldn't have asked for much more. Also check out the brewery/steak house beside it. It is pretty nice inside, beer was good and the food was decent.

The hotel itself is a bit old but they do a nice job maintaining it for the most part. It is generally pretty clean but I always check the mattresses and I did notice the mattress covers were stained in places. They are covered with a double layer of fitted sheets/sheets which were clean so I didn't fuss about it. They appear to be pet friendly which is nice but unfortunately that came with areas like the carpeted stairwell smelling like a wet dog. There are newer and likely nicer hotels nearby however we are aware and comfortable with the small negatives to trade off for the positives including the location and price for stay... Especially for a quick weekend.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

The keys to the room DID NOT work. Stayed there 4 days. Had to be let in the room all 4 days by the staff. VERY INCONVENIENT. I have bad diabetic feet and was hard to stand waiting to get into room.

Close to everything! Nice comfortable friendly staff!

room was "roomy" and comfortable - breakfast was not just a "continental" breakfast :) The lady at the front desk when we checked in was very helpful in giving us suggestions for local restaurants! We did go to one that she recommended (El Patron) and we loved it! We appreciate her feedback!

everything was ok - we didn't have time to use the pool but look forward to it next time we visit!

Never again

The bed was comfortable.

The hotel is dated, outside in disrepair and I hurt my shoulder carrying luggage upstairs. There is no elevator. For what I paid it was disappointing. Beth

Passable

The cleaning crew was excellent. The rooms were very clean bed was comfortable. Location was good

The front desk staff had no clue what they were doing and were very unprofessional. One of the girls on the cleaning crew actually stepped in during check in and check out to keep all of us customers moving.

Will stay there again. Worth the money.

Comfortable bed, comfortable room. Liked the updates. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Liked the location.

Bathroom a little small. Sink/vanity seemed to be leaning, like it was starting to detach from the wall. Breakfast was lukewarm. The people above us were VERY loud, but after a call from management, all was quiet.

Great! We’d stay again!

Perfect location! Easy on & off the freeway! We were traveling south from the UP to Detroit! Lots of places to get something good to eat all around perfect for what we needed!

Like that it's pet friendly ,very friendly staff👍 Easy check in, no pressure check out. Great prices!

Beverage machine ripped me off for a couple bucks. Vending machine issue eas the only bad experience. Couple bucks isn't a big deal but probably should put a out of order sign on the machine.

They need grab bars near the tub. Better, softer pillows. Hard to regulate the heat…too hot, too cold. Just like the outside weather.

The door keys to side entrances mostly do not work. my room door didn’t actually fully latch n close. neighboring guest were very loud at 2:30am until after 3am being loud in their room, in n out of their door shutting it hard everytime. talking loud in the hall and by their door. Then repeatedly knocking on their door to come back in and no staff said anything. I get things happen though. The most inconvenient part was the side door entry, room door not closing/locking properly and room key each time I’ve stayed I’ve had to get a new one because they just stop working ig.

Not a bad place.

Staff was nice and accommodating, pool was warm. Love the little nook by the window in the room.

Keycards don't work on most exterior doors. This was second stay it was like that. Parking lot was not plowed.

Superb

Everything was very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast options are excellent for what you pay to stay. Big Buck Brewery is next to the hotel, with great food and live music.

No elevator. The building is only two floors, so it was only an inconvenience when bringing our luggage in and out.
