No to La Quinta

We enjoyed how comfortable and cozy the beds were and being so close to the beach was lovely.

For some reason the hotel charged us an extra 75.20 that's currently pending along with a $25 dollar early check in charge. When we were in the process of checking out, a staff member with no knocking at all just barged into our room and when she realized what she had done she ran back to the front, after making the statement we needed to get out and it only being 10am. When we got to the front and she realized we had twins with us and our oldest 9 year old, she said..oh you have your hands full, sorry about coming in the computer checked out all our guest we thought the room was empty, but when asked how come she didn't stay to explain that she just dismissed it and said sorry again. They were quite unpleasant to be around. I don't think when visiting Ocean City for our family holiday we'll visit them again. I'm currently waiting for all the illegal charges to process through my bank so I can definitely file them in error and proof I paid for the hotel along with some extra $25 charge the young lady wrote on our paper which I found odd because prior to checking in a young man was there who told us they could definitely accommodate us with no extra charge to us, yet we got charge anyway just about an extra $100 bucks is pending even after the hotel was paid for. Just not a pleasant staff there. Don't recommend this place for families.

Room was dirty upon arrival, staff not friendly except housekeeper Dawn. Ver little yard turf to accommodate volume of pets. Was charged for my Emotional Support Animal Pool photo is not was is advertised. All outdoor loungers and chairs were ripped. Horrible service and food at Ocean 13

3 nights and they didn't service the room. Had to go to desk each day for clean towels and wash rags. Trash piled up with waste cans not being emptied

I would go again.

The breakfast was very good I just wish it ran till 11am instead of 10. The location is perfect all I had to do was cross the street and the beach was right there!

The room was dusty and could have cleaner floors. There weren’t any wash cloths I had to ask for some. The breakfast was amazing but I wish it ran till 11am. We barley made it. The kids didn’t want to get up in time.

The restaurant was good house keepwrs were nice

Front desk had no idea of locations of rooms couldn't answer some of my questions the breakfast was a joke room was dirty and missing items no list of tv channels tv took to long to switch channels. Ice maker didn't work sometimes on my floor. My ac system did work it was locked out they had to fix no list of local restaurants in rooms

Disappointing

The room was dirty, there were cookies on the bed on the floor, not enough towels, missing the sheets and covers and pillows for the pull out. Staff took forever to clean they left never came back to finish the job

Not what I expected from the hospitality and over all experience for the cost of the stay.

Location

The room, the service from the front desk, lack of housekeeping, room was full of sand, didn’t have towels till my last night. Was told they didn’t have anymore towels and wash cloths.

My stay at LaQuinta by Wyndham, was Excellent!

The professionalism of the staff, cleanliness, quiet atmosphere. The location of the hotel was in a three block radius of the venue which was the Convention Center. The breakfast was good, the availability of parking. I have been coming to O. C. for, 24 years now but my first time staying at La Quinta by Wyndham and I loved it, I have recommended this hotel to everyone. This will be the the hotel for me when I visit O C.. I will be reserving a room for next convention for April 2024, see you soon

The weather, my friend and pet were great. The hotel was not high on my list.

The trip down was well and it was good to have something at that location because some eateries could be walked to. I like the location to the ocean so we could walk on the beach. Staff were friendly, however, didn't know a lot of what we asked of them. Like the channel selection or the hotel.

The phone in the room didn't work. We told the front desk but that was never fixed. While the front desk had a channel listing, it was so incorrect that we went through every channel to see what the channels were and handed it in at the end of our stay so a correct one should be made. It was difficult finding the channel guide on the TV and was just an accident that we found it. One front desk staff said, "Well we don't use the TVs so I don't know what the channels are." However, for customer service and acclimation, this information should be readily available. Also, we asked multiple times for help with our thermostat in the room which wouldn't circulate air. Thankfully the days there weren't rainy and had a nice wind. I didn't feel fully safe, though having to sleep with the balcony door open. -- and yes, when we tried to work with the thermostat, we had the door closed. It kept giving us errors over and over again. A staff individual came to try to help but left saying he would go to the mechanical room to fix, only nothing came of that. Also, initially when I booked the room through Booking.com - it intimated that pets were free. I looked on the LaQuinta website after checking in and really had to search before I found out that there was a pet fee. I wouldn't have booked my stay if I knew this for I had found other hotels for Ocean City that had no fee. When I checked in, I had no knowledge of an extra fee. And that staff member said it was $25 per night. I found out that it was $25 per night or a maximum of $40-again the staff member didn't know. In the end he told me there was a mixup and charged me $46.00. At this point I would NOT stay with this hotel again. They need to have better information, supply help for unknown things, and have the staff trained so they can give proper information.

My stay was good. I stayed in the Flamingo for one night and it was awful. They had no hot water.

Great location and great breakfast complimentary. Room Floor needed extra clean, we can hear noise from neighbors next door.

Had some issues with the HVAC in the room. Had to be moved and it was a colder than usual weekend. We did get some money back for the inconvenience, so kudos to the manager on duty.

Good value, and with value, you get what you pay for.

They had a free breakfast that was tidy. The small pet area outside with pet bags. That was nice since there isn't a lot of terf for the dogs to use. The staff was very friendly.

The bathroom had long black hair in the tub.. the vents were so dusty, it was really gross, the vent in the bathroom was just as bad as the ceiling vent in the bedroom. The pillows felt like cottage cheese. All lumps that as soon as you put your head on it, you sunk. It offered zero support.
